tommorow at school we'll have to do a run for 12 minutes and i have a soar throat. if i run for that amount of time my throat will taste like blood and i dunwant to make it worse so what can i do to fix my soar throat?
Water Maybe. or have your mom write a note, or tell your teacher(s) for pe that you are sick, and that you cant. Say that you will walk tho.
Did you know weather you walk or run a mile- you burn the same amount of calories, but walking is better for your joints?

i have this friend that i've known since 4th grade (we're now seniors). i love her to death but there are some things that make me really ticked off about her. lately, she has given up at everything in which she can't succeed. we do the same sport, and she is quitting. she used to be really really good at it (she was #1 on the team for a while), but she hasn't been as good because she really stopped trying. also, she is considering dropping one of her ap classes because she is getting a c+. she always complains about how the teacher doesn't grade anything and how the whole class is failing, but i talk to others in the class and they say that it's not true and that the problem is her. if she drops this class, she'll be a valedictorian. if she doesn't, she won't. all of my friends and i think that she should stick it out because colleges will like her getting a c+ and then working her way up to a b/b+ (because we know it's possible) rather than her dropping a challenging class. what do you think she should do and if you think she should stick it out, do you have any ideas for us to tell her? nothing seems to be working...
maybe she has depression, maybe she has something going on at home that it bugging her. Ask her about that. Tell her that you just want to help her! Maybe sugest to her that you do homework and study together! And pratice for your sport outside of school if it is possible, depending on the sport! Try to hang out with her more too, like maybe go to a movie or the mall! and just have fun and chat, maybe you'll find that something is buging her! But I would really (if your concerned about her grades) ask her if you two could study together and do homework togehter!!!

hey..ok, this is akward but i need sum adivice lol. lets just say im not that big in the boob department. im 13 and most of my friends are like really big, i used 2 be bigger and now i have like shrunk or something! i got a paded bra, but now in the summer guys will see that im way way smaller in my bathing suit!! i heard chicken makes them grow...? :S

Hi.. I dont really know where to start but first off i cut myself... and i do it beacasue my life is so hard.. Many of my family members have died and in January 5th my friend Joe died and he was really specail to me .. and so i took out the blade.. and i started cutting.. and i have lied about me cutting myslef but if i told my mom she would kill me ... most of the time her and i get along but some times we have issues and she yells at me sometimes and it gets me all fired up jus wanting to cry .. and then i have an older brother ((15)) and he hits me sometimes.. and he annoys the crap out of me and that fires me up 2 .. and then i have a little brother ((6)) and he does everyhting in his power to annoy me .. lik for instance hell make faces at me and make nasty commments about me lik how much he hates me and i cant take it anymore.. and so i bring out the siccors and i cut myself.. Now i go to this Christain Youth Center and we talk about god and isssues and just things that come to mind.. and the lady incharge i talk to her about me life and how i feel and i tell her that i cut myself and last week we all got into a discussion about anything we wnated to talk about and then someone starts to talk about Depression and then it gets deeper into cuttin yourself.. and im just sitting there thinkin .. y is she talkin about this ... and it hurts me bad to hear this women say that its stupid to do it and its not right to take it out on myslef.. and so im wondering if i can really talk to her about my life anymore.. but im askin if i should continue doin this if it makes me feel better (( maybe not inside)) but i cant talk to my mom 4 certain reasons so imaskin you people....

First, let me preface this by saying that this is going to a bit long and that I'm not highly religious. I always believed that if you lived your life morally and right, God or the cosmos or what have you, would reward you in a way. You would be able to affect people's lives by the way that you live.
So I've lived my life well- I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, engage in pre-marital sex, am always kind, and work hard helping others, however, I'm losing my faith that its all meaningful. It seems to me that people in general are becoming too superficial. There is no more great search for knowledge and truth and TRUE beuty. People don't trust people anymore- always thinking the worst ulterior motive, even when there is none. I feel like I'm fighting a dying battle to keep a little bit of innocence and purity. Am I just being naive thinking that if I keep living my life the way I am, will "reward" me in the end? Am I the only one who feels like this? Am I the only one who thinks that we're not progressing but rather giving in to our most carnal urges? I'm losing faith and I know eventually all the people I help will feel it by the way I treat them. Your input would be appreciated.

there this guy who likes me and i like him, but he gets nervous around me becuz he like, REALLY likes me and i really like him but i kno if i'm all nervous too, we'll NEVER end up talking..so i try to talk to him and i ask him questions and he just says like "yeah" or "lol" so i tried to not ask him yes or no questions but he just kinda gives and answer and thats it. what can i do to get him to talk and feel more comfortable?? i rate 5's!
dont make fun of him, and just if he says something stupid or anything dont laugh, but laugh at all of his jokes.
