Yes, they are pretty slim.
and having your period 2 days before shouldn't really affect it, so don't worry.
But if you are still concerened, take other steps, such as a pregnancy test. You should be fine, however!
If someone is on birthcontrol (the pill) and they had sex.. whats the likelyness of them getting pregnant. And they've been on the pill for half a month.
The combined oral contraceptive pill is normally very effective, with only 0.2% per year which end up pregnant.
The progestogen only pill has has a higher failure rate of 2 to 8%.
Don't worry. and be sure to take them properly.
However, these can be the causes of your pill failing:
a stomach upset such as nausea and vomiting, when the Pill may not be properly absorbed into the system.
interaction with other drugs. Anti-epileptic drugs such as phenobarbitone and phenytoin and carbamazapine, griseofulvin (for fungal infections) and some broad spectrum antibiotics can all interfere with the efficacy of the combined contraceptive pill.

Sleeping with your bra on will not stop your breasts from growing, despite the many rumours it will. So don't panic!
However, sleeping with a bra on can be uncomfortable. Or if it's very tight, can interfere with your breathing or circulation.
and no. No matter how often you wear your bra, it will not make your boobs rounder/perkier etc. That is also a myth.

yesterday i went to my friends house and she pierced my ear with her earring. well, we did sterilize it by putting the earring/earring back in a little cup of that ear alcohol stuff..
well first she used a sharp earring (sterilized) to pierce my ear, and then she took it out like 5 minutes later and put in a regular earring. my ear is fine, no infections or anything- just a little blood at first.
um, so, i was wondering if you can get AIDS or anything by using somebody else's earring to pierce your ear. idk, cause i would think it's like a needle or whatever. im assuming my friend doesn't have AIDS, but who knows for sure?
also, does anyone know if there's a test for AIDS besides getting a blood sample?

Self piercing ear lobes is very common. But precautions must be taken in order to keep the newly pierced ears okay.
Although you cleaned the earring, many germs would have still been on it, but you should be okay. Sterilization is a long process in order to do it properly.
As you've already done it now, you shouldn't worry too much. Just take care of them.
You can get aids if the infected blood would have come into contact with your open ear wound. However, that is highly unlikely in your case.
So try not to panic. and if you are still worried, just get it checked out anyway to rid you of any doubts :)

I might get my tragus piercing but before I do I need advice. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) how painful is it while you get it done, and how painful is it AFTER you get it done? And how long does it take for the pain to go away? Please help!
I've had mine done for about 3 years and it hasn't ever caused me any bother.
It's not so much of a pain when you get it pierced. More like a dull ache. But it's not bad at all. Just throbs a bit and reminds you you now have a piece of jewelry in there! I guess it depends with what size you get it pierced with. After about the 2nd or 3rd day, I totally forgot it was there. After care was really easy and simple too. Just be careful when sleeping etc.

This has been an on going question, with many rumours people take seriously as answers. Fact is, there isn't aything you can do. You can obviously gain weight, but the extra fat might go somewhere else, eg, your stomach. When you reach 18, it is thought you stop growing, but in many cases, women have grown and developed until the age of 21. Just wait it out. But in the mean time, find a bra that will boost what you have and make you feel comfortable :)
Having them massaged/sucked etc apparently isn't long term either. and sometimes when people go on birth control, they find their boobs grow alot. This also may not be long term.

Becareful, as lemon juice is acidic and will dry out hair. Make sure you shampoo and condition thoroughly if you are going to do it.

Most self tanners should do the job. Depending on the colour of your original tan will decide how much and how often you need to top up the fake tan. There's many to choose from. Find one which is easiest to apply. These can be a bit expensive, however.
so my hair is super curly and frizzy.
i straighten it most days beacuse i dont want/like to wear it how it naturally curls. i think it looks bad. i have about shoulder length light brown hair.
my question is how do i get my hair to be wavy. like pretty waves. not super tight curls, but not straihgt. in between.

I have the same problem as you, as my hair is very curly and then goes frizzy.
When I've washed my hair, i brush it, then put it into a plait until it dries. When it's dried, the curls are bigger and more wavy like. I then put mousse on and scrunch. If it's still too curly for your liking, run the straighteners through it a few times, making sure to keep in the waves. Then finish off with a bit more mousse.
If you want a more professional glammed up look, straighten your hair and then put mousse on and scrunch. Or, straighten your hair and put curlers in or use curling tongs to make it cute and wavy :) That takes a bit of time though.
Seeing as everyones hair is different, experiment a little and see which one is right for you. Happy styling! :)
I'm 16 and I have thick black hair right around my nipples. I've plucked them out once before awhile back but of course, they came back. The hair is about 1.5 to 2 inches long and its kind of embarrassing. I was wondering if this is a common thing amongst females and if it is, is it common for the hair to be thick and black? I don't even have black hair on my head, I have brown hair. Also, I have a hair line right down the middle of my breasts and I usually just shave it and of course if I don't, it will grow back and be visible. If anyone has this, how do you deal with it? I do not have this, but it's a very common problem amongst teenagers.
Nothing to worry about though. Some people suffer from a hormonal imbalance. Whereas others just have dark hair and it shows up more on other body parts. Try hair removal creams, waxing etc or forms of electrolysis. It can take a few attempts but the end results will leave you hair free :)

I"m 16 and I've had my period for a year and a 1/2 now, but in the past few months I've experienced what I guess would be called "Spotting" its just a little bit of blood in my underwear but there is none on the tissue when I wipe. What should I do to prevent this? or Is there anything I can do? and Should I mention this to my doctor when I go?

"Spotting" Could be a sign of an infection and in some cases, it is still unknown why it happens. It can happen after sex etc too.
You should mention it to the doctor. See what he/she can do about it. Don't worry about it though. Alot of girls and women experience this!

see the thing is im 5 feet tall & i like being short and all but sometimess its a big problem for guys. Is there any way i can grow taller. I mean im 16 years old and i know im still growing pluse everyone in my family is an inch taller then their mothers but why is it taking me so long to grow? Is there anything i can do to help speed up my growth.
You still have a few years to catch up, so don't worry. Some women even stop at the age of 21.
Just make sure you eat correctly, get enough sleep and keep healthy, although there isn't anything that can MAKE you grow. They will just help in ways.
You may grow, you may not! Time will tell.
