tragus piercing
I might get my tragus piercing but before I do I need advice. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) how painful is it while you get it done, and how painful is it AFTER you get it done? And how long does it take for the pain to go away? Please help!

I've had mine done for about 3 years and it hasn't ever caused me any bother.
It's not so much of a pain when you get it pierced. More like a dull ache. But it's not bad at all. Just throbs a bit and reminds you you now have a piece of jewelry in there! I guess it depends with what size you get it pierced with. After about the 2nd or 3rd day, I totally forgot it was there. After care was really easy and simple too. Just be careful when sleeping etc.

It doesn't really hurt to get it done, but afterwards, it hurts like hell. It takes about a week or two for the pain to go away. But for a year or more after you get it, it will hurt only when you touch it..

it depends on how sensitive your ears are. it should be about 4-7 mostly 5. you shouldnt use phones to that ear or sleep on that side, because its painful and sensitive for a while

I got mine in January. The pain was honestly about a 3. My 3rd hole hurt way worse than this. And i have 16 piercings. I warn you. They are very hard to take care of. I made the mistake of missing "a couple" days of cleaning it. BIGGEST MISTAKE I HAVE EVER MADE! It got a bubble on it. So finally i decided to put rubbing alcohol on it (which my piercer told me NEVER to do) well, i did that for like 2 weeks, and the bubble went away and has been fine ever since. JUST MAKE SURE YOU TAKE GOOD CARE OF IT.
