i need help my comp is real slow
i've tried
-defragment almost every 2 days
-disk clean up
-a lot of spy-protect
-i use spybot
-and full comp scans
-my comp has capacity of 37gb and has 25gb of free space
-wut can i do besides getting more memory?

When you have more than one Spy-Ware programs, they work against each other, thus slowing down the computer. Next time you turn it on, be patient and go into 'Edit or Delete Programs' and delete all the spy-ware programs except for one; the one that seems to work the best.
This should cause your computer to go faster.

If it doesn't, the GeekSquad can help, I've heard.

ok well i go on my myspace today and i notice that it changed from being private to public. and i went to my accoutn settings and it had somehow actually switched from private to public. so, i changed it back to private. but does this mean someone got on my myspace and changed it? or could it have somehow done that by itself? ok thanks!

Someone very well could have stolen your password. The best way to prevent this in the future is if you change your password right after it happens.
And you know those bulletins where a product is being advertised? Well those are a scam to get your password, so it could have been stolen through there. If you see those again, don't click on the link it provides. Just ignore those bulletins completely.

I like my boyfriend a lot but he seems very apathetic about the relationship to the point where I'm craving affectionate touch, etc. What should I do?

Tell him about it. The only way this will change is if you mention it to him. He probably doesn't know you're feeling this way.

If you're wondering how to tell him. Just say you need to talk. BUT! Be sure to mention you aren't breaking up or anything. Tell him you aren't feeling like you're getting enough attention, and that you might like a little more of it. If he is a good boyfriend, he'll understand and start to show you more attention. If not, don't blame him, because sometimes it takes awhile for people to get used to relationships and start to feel extremely comfortable.

So there's a boy. (Obviously.)
We're pretty good friends. Joke, have fun, talk a lot, etc.
We have a lot in common, including the fact that we're both really amazingly shy.

I really like him, but I'm not sure if he feels the same way.
Is there anyway to find out if he likes me without telling him that I like him?
I really hate to be indirect by having a friend go "Do you like so and so?" etc. To me that's a middle school way of getting everyone involved.

Should I just go out and tell him that I like him?

Yes, you should tell him that you like him. It may freak him out, but he may feel the same way. The best way to find out if someone likes you, when you like them, is to just flat out tell them you like them.
If you're that good of friends and he doesn't like you back, you should be able to get passed it soon, if he feels uncomfortable about it.

If you feel sick to your stomach because you ate too much and you stick your finger down your throat to induce vomitting is it still considered an eating disorder? I've done this a couple of times, but never on a constant basis, just like...once every two months or so. It only stops my stomach from hurting, I'm not trying to lose weight or anything..is it still bad?

No- I wouldn't consider this an eating disorder. Be careful not to make a habit of it, though, because it very well could turn into a disorder. Sometimes it is necessary to puke.
If you go to the dentist, they can tell that you've been puking, so doing it too much is a bad thing, because you could be accused of having an eating disorder. I think once or twice a year isn't bad, but once every two months may be too much.

Hello! I really like this guy. Today I saw him, it was the first time in a while. He is 15, and I am 13. I know, you can't be inlove at 13. Everyone probley thinks it's just a crush, well, I am convinced your wrong.

We evacuated once, and we went to the same place, and we hung out a little. I liked him then, and I was 11. When he left, I was CRUSHED! I felt horrible.

Today he was on my float. He smiles at me, but I don't know what he means. After the parade was over, I feel WORSE then I ever did. I want this guy so bad. I even prayed alot of times. I might sound a little dramatic, but please, try and understand.

What are some promises I can make with God? If he helps me get over this guy? I might not ever have him, or see him again [ I probley will see him again ]. I just don't want to feel like this again. I felt like this the day my father died! Could God help him like me, or even be my best friend, just be.. you know.. closer too him. This guy is just AMAZING!

So, does anyone know any promises I can make with God, to help him help me about this problem. I have had crush's, and MANY boyfriends, but I have never felt this feeling.

BTW- for lent I already gave up junk food. I thought it would help me loose weight, and come closer too God. Also, I promised to pray every night, and morning.

This is a great question.
If you want to show God how much you love him, an important thing to do is attend mass every Sunday. If you continue to pray to God for something you might want, he might give it to you. Your desire for him could be seen as a temptation, which is bad. I understand you may want to be with him, but if eventually nothing happens between you two, the relationship probably isn't meant to happen.
Hoping and waiting for something sometimes isn't the best idea. I completely understand what you're feeling, but I don't recommend you wait for him.

Please rate me on my advice, not on the fact that this may not have been what you wanted to hear.

As I said, going to church every Sunday is important. You need to tell your mom that it is VERY important that she takes you to church each Sunday. If you stress the words "very important", and she should know that it really is important to you, and she'll probably take action and take you to church on Sundays

We don't know enough about this to make a great choice for you. Honestly, I would pick the guy who treats you the best and who likes to be with you.. meaning pick the new guy. Just make sure to talk to your current boyfriend about it all before you just end it, if that is what you decide to do.
Again- its really your choice. Just make sure that you choose the best guy, and the one that will make you the happiest.

There is always a possibility that you could be pregnant. Even if he "pulled out", there is thing called pre cum.

I like this guy and one of his good friends said he likes me buy my best friend had to burst my bubble and say that he didnt bc one of her good friends asked him...now i think he hates my guts and i think i hate his to but no one belives that i dont like him any more. Its hard to know. If you have an interest in him, which I can't really tell if you do from your question, then the best thing to do would be to ask him yourself, no matter how embarrassing.

Ok here is an example of a problem:
Polly Gawn is building a triangular pool. She wants the pool to be acute, with no obtuse angles. One side of the pool is 20 feet long and the other side is 48 feet long. how long does the third side have to be to make sure that pool has all acute angles?

You have to use the:
c^2=a^2+b^2 equation

acute triangle= all angle are acute and less than 90 degrees

A=20
B=48
C=C

so...

A^2= 400
B^2= 2304
C^2= C^2

400+2304=C^2
2704=C^2

take the square root of both sides

C=52

The third side has to be less than 52 feet long to make sure that the pool has all acute angles, since if it had 52, it would make it a right triangle.. having less than a 90 degree angle would make the triangle acute

how important are extracurriculars and stuff, really?

They, actually, are very important.
I mean- having good grades is nice and all.. but it sometimes isn't enough. Having extra-curricular activities shows a college that you are more than just book smart, you also have a healthy body, etc.

They sometimes can be the boost that gets you into a college over someone else.

Like Boy/Girl Scouts are great programs to be involved in, or the band for school, or whatever.

It is probably a good idea to have some type of ECA.

I have always wondered :)

Sometimes sweats get annoying- but not incredibly. I honestly prefer bluejeans, but that's just me.
Every guy is different, so you shouldn't just base what you wear off of one opinion.
