I'm Christina, and I'm 27. I tend to be brutally honest when I give advice or an opinion. I don't tell people what they want to hear but rather what they need to hear. They don't always appreciate it at first, but I usually get a thank you in the end.

is sleeping in a room with computers turned on bad?

No. It's a fire hazard though. And having your computer on all night will cause the motherboard to die, so you should always turn your computer off when you're done with it. I don't care for global warming, but turning things off when you're not using them is good for the environment as well.

Since you JUST dyed your hair black, putting any type of highlights of any color could potentionally fry your hair & fuck it up.

In order to put colors such as blonde/red into black hair, you would have to bleach it. And bleaching your hair at all, whether you just dyed it or not could ruin your hair. It's best not to bleach your hair a lot.

I would wait about a month or two before you decide to do any type of highlights to your hair. Because who knows, you may not want them a month from now.

There are things you need to ask yourself before you jump back into a relationship with this kid. Does he really deserve another chance? Is he going to hurt you again? Is he telling you the truth? Do you think this will work out? Will you end up breaking up again?

Ask yourself those questions. If you can't answer those questions positively & honestly, then you need to question yourself & your morals. What are your thoughts on this? I personally think that this kid has a chance of hurting you again. The first break up was understandable, but who's to say that the arguing won't start back up? Just really think this through before you jump back into something which could potentionally hurt you & possibly hold you back.

Does he like you if he is always being mean to you or does that mean he hates you?

It depends on the guy, and it depends how he says it.

Does he say it like he means it? Or does he say it like he's just kidding? If he says it like he means it, he could possibly mean it, or he could seriously be kidding. Everyone has a different way of joking around with people.

Listen to the tone of his voice. If he sounds playful with it, he could actually like you & just be messing with you. If he sounds like he means it or whatever, then he might dislike you.

Honestly though, your best bet would be to ask him since he is the only one that can tell you this. I don't know the guy, so I can't ask or tell you in any possible way. But next time you talk, listen to the tone in his voice & then ask what you wanna know.

what does it mean when you have an ego?

Well it depends on what type of ego you're talking about, or the person you're asking.

Different people have different egos.

Ego type #1 is the big ego. People with big egos tend to think they're the shit. They always have to be right, and they always have to be the best. They have trouble admitting their faults & they often don't know what the hell they're talking about. They're also fairly conceited.

Ego type #2 is the little ego. People with small egos accept their faults, & don't think they're better than anyone else. They're not cocky, & they don't think that they're the best at everything. They can admit their faults without shame & they're not full of themselves.

You should hang out with people with small egos. People with big egos will tend to piss you off & you'll get annoyed pretty quickly.

My freshman orientation is coming up next month, and I just moved to a new town so I don't , so I'm not sure what to wear. I pretty much shop at Hollister, American Eagle, those kind of places.

Nope. I've got friends from different states who I used to text regularly. They can just see that you've been texting, but I don't think it shows who. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I don't believe in love at first sight. Love at first sight just doesn't exist. Looking at someone & falling love with them can't happen. The only thing you "love" about them is their appearance making your feelings lust.

You need to know someone before you can love them. It doesn't work like magic.
