Q: My guy friend of six years is getting married in the fall. My boyfriend is going to be standing up in his wedding. I was invited, of course, but I am worried about going because I won't have anyone to sit with at dinner. Since my boyfriend is standing up, he has to eat with the other members of the wedding party. Nope, I don't think it's rude. I think he would be pretty understanding if you explain to him that you would be uncomfortable sitting alone or what not. I don't think it would be a problem.

Q: okay theres this guy i like. i knew him in 5th grade.. but i didnt really KNOW him he was just in my literacy class (which is 2 periods.) and then later now like hes in a couple of my classes, and once we sat together in math, and i didnt really like him "like him" i just thought he was okay and kinda annoying too. my friend thought we'd look cute together and i denied it even though i liked him a tiny bit. then i already had a crush on someone who eventually i stopped liking as a crush.. and i liked this person now, that im talking about. hes just so cute.. and etc. he sits kinda near me in most of my classes, in the beginning of the year we sat together in math like i said (well in our table) and then later we're in diff tables but like pretty close. i talk to him occasionally i guess. and i see him at lunch too. and ive noticed that i become like a little selfconcious now around him and like im still myself.. but like yeah. its kinda embarassing, like today i got up to go get something and i didnt even notice he was there and then i looked at him and then i felt like... woah. and he was looking at me too so i felt kinda embarassed. lol like in gym im usually pretty competitive, so like when hes there i like kinda flirt without really flirting sometimes.. or maybe to make him thing "wow that girl's so cool" haha if he already doesnt feel like that. i dont know and i dont know how to feel about it.. i mean.. if he asked me out would i say yes? i dunno if im ready for a relationship. im only 13!! even if some other girls in my classes have boyfriends.. my parents didnt grow up with all that stuff since they are from like cameroon in africa, so i guess they dont want me with a boyfriend either and they want me to focus on schoolwork and such.. but they didnt flat out say i couldnt have one. but i get what they mean cuz they dont want it to lead to like sex and etc but im not stupid like that. i'll just wait till college (with a condom! haha) or like when im married. i dont know and frankly i dont really care.. i have other concerns. anyways and in gym i'll be like all giggily with my friends and stuff.. not like in a weird way that you could tell im faking but like i'll try sometimes for him to see me smile since he sits like 1 spot away from me (we sit on the gym floor after getting changed. my friend sits inbetween us). ugh i cant help myself. and usually he answers to the things i say too. like i'll ask the teacher something and he'd say the answer.. its happened several times before. i dont know exactly how to feel!
OFF TOPIC: ack sorry if i made several spelling mistakes. my eyes are like spinning kinda.. so my vision is shaking back and forth. maybe im sick or this topic just makes me jittery! o the butterflies in my stomach, ha. okay.. its doing that now and stopping... O__O is this some sort of medical thing? aha thats my other question. it stops when i shake my head but now it keeps coming back!!! AKK

It sounds like you like him, maybe as a crush. When you're only 13, I agree you're not ready for a relationship. The only thing I would tell you to do is try to maybe keep talking to him, (if you're really that interested) and be yourself. There's not much else you can do.

i have never kissed a guy. i've had boyfriends but only in 6th&7th grade. i'm a freshman in highschool and still no kiss. i mean guys have kissed me on the cheek but i don't think that counts.

I think it's fine that you haven't. It's really hard to say when you get a first kiss, because I've known some girls that have gotten their first kiss at 18! But honestly, it's normal, and I wouldn't worry about it. It will come naturally.
P.S. To get a boyfriend, if you fine someone you're interested in, maybe you could start chatting about a movie, or music, and then, ask them to hang out. It always works for me.

Portion control, mostly. Also, what helps me, when I'm ready to dive into eating junk food, ask yourself if it's fuel [for your body]. Hopefully you should have enough common sense to realize that and answer that question. Also, don't make it so easy for you to just get up and walk into the kitchen to eat junk. Instead of having that, have fruit. :] It's what I do.

well, he threatened to hurt her (and me, for that matter) unless she had sex with him, and of course, she wanted him to leave her alone, because not only was he being a horrible person to me, hejust wouldn't leave her alone...so she did it. and this guy left her alone.
and so everyone calls her a whore and all that stuff and she's not- she's not a slut, doesn't dress like one, is amazingly beautiful...but i feel like i'm the only one who sees that in her...
so i guess what i'm asking is- how can i get other people to see what i see in her? because honestly, none of my friends do...

Well, people are going to be judgemental (sp), and you have to accept that. As long as you know the real her, and she knows the real you, I honestly don't think there's anything to worry about. People are gonna do that, just because a lot of people have nothing to talk about anyways, so in other words, that's their problem. If your friends are your real friends, then well, they should like her. But hey, you're the one dating her, not them. If you really do love her as you say you do, stay with her. You guys know what really happened, and if you ignore most of what people say, they will start to leave you alone. You're an amazing boyfriend, it sounds like, so really, good luck.

Well, if your boyfriend is trustworthy, I wouldn't worry about it. I mean, I hate when girls do that, because sometimes they just dangle your guy like that if front of you to piss you off. Apparently, she's jealous, and I'd be proud of that, and it should give you confidence, not bring you down. If people know you more than her, most likely they're going to find out that she's kind of a bullshitter. Just stay away from her as much as you can, and hopfully she'll get the hint.

Well, yes, I see drinking can be a big problem in a relationship. I was kind of in one, so I know how it feels. Don't tell him he's stupid, because that just sets guys off more. Good for you for letting him go, because I finally called it quits with the guy I was with too. I think (to just make it simple and easy) call him, and just tell him you guys need to talk. I'm not sure if you would want to compromise with him, so if you do, say something like this:
"Listen, I gave you another chance, and I'm willing to make this relationship work. I don't mind if you go to a party, or you're with friends, but I don't appreciate it when you get totally wasted. If you really respect me and want to be with me, maybe you should think twice about drinking."
Now, if you really don't want to do that, here's how I did it- call him, or in person, whichever you're more comfortable with, and say:
"Listen, I gave you two chances and you didn't cut the crap. I told you I don't like it when you drink and get completely wasted. I'm sick of it, and I don't think this is how a relationship should be going. I really don't think that we're the best couple together, and I think before anyone gets hurt we should just break it off now. I'm sorry."
That's very similar to what I said, and I hope this is somewhat decent advice, because sometimes it's hard.
