Hey, I am 16f and I have an advicenators account on here (obviously ;) ...) I'm just one of those crazy anime girls. I've watched a lot of Japanese anime in my time. I have a few favorites (like Midori no Hibi, Naruto, Bleach, and even Dragon Ball Z) but am still looking for new anime to check out. I know I can buy anime on ebay (and watch some animes on YouTube) and other various sites but I need some good anime suggestions.
What is your favorite Japanese Anime? Could you tell me a little about the anime to see if it catches my interest?
Even if it's a very popular anime it's alright to suggest it. Like I said, I'm one of those crazy anime girls so I even like to hear other people just say which animes they prefer and why. I could talk about anime all day long! (link)

azumanga daioh is really good and funny, though it doesnt have any of the fantastical elements of the ones you mentioned, its more an anime just about high school life.

I have no clue, but it's possible. Here's a list of things people think I have.
-type 1 diabetes
-A.D.D
-sleep apnea
And now here are some symptoms others and myself have noticed I have.
-stress
-bad mood
-urinating frequently
-increased thirst (drinking lots of water lately)
-I'm always tired now
-I have bad memory during the day
-I sometimes wake up with sore throats
-every once in a while I get this like sour/sweet breath
-Some days I get really hungry, some days I barely eat anything
-I've been getting a lot of headaches lately ( I rarely got them before and no it's not because theres been more noise)
-I have pretty bad anxiety
-I can rarely focus for a long time
-I always give up on things if I don't them right the first time even though I know I should give up
-I get really frustrated when I try to do home work/school work or a lot of things
-I'm almost always worrying or nervous about something
Shall I go on?
I don't know I think i'm just being a hypochondriac. What do you think?

a good chunk of those seem like they could be symptoms of the things you have, but you should still go to a doctor just in case.

theres this guy i hung out with alot during the summer. we had ssex a couple times but not every time we hugn out. he told me he like me, but he also liked someone els, and that was at the begininng of the summer. Now he alwasy IM's me, and we talk on the phone and he asks me to hangout without other people. i cant tell if he actually likes me or is just trying to keep me around for sex. theres really a very simple way to see if a guy is just using you for sex. stop having sex. if he leaves, he was using you. if he stays, its something deeper.

Well, I'm starting a new diet on monday, here's a link to it:

And it seems like a pretty well-planned out diet, you know. And very balanced out, too.
And I was reading about it (from other sources) that I should do the diet for three days, and then eat normal for 4 days. BUT, I'm scared that if i start to eat normal, I will go on a binge. And you can easily screw up a week's worth of diet with one binge, because 3500 calories = one pound. Scary, huh?
ANYWAYS, i was thinking, can i just follow this diet? Day after day? Whenever the three days are over, I start over again from the top. Would it be healthy? (link)

This diet is not recommended and should never be used for more than 3 days. This kind of diet is often used by those who experience “yo-yo” weight - it is not a good habit to get into.
so obviously you shouldnt do it. its not healthy to lose so much weight so quickly. in order to be safe, you should try to lose a pound or two a week.

Hi, okay so like 19 days ago I started my birth control.. Its called ortho tri-cyclen lo if that helps any.
Anyways so my last period was on July 19th so as you can see im late.
But I havent had unprotected sex or anything and the thingie says I will be protected the first day I take it if its a day one and 7 days if its a sunday start.
So theres like no possible way im pregnant. I know im not. [hopefully] but why am I so late? Is it because of my birth control?
&& I feel like im getting my period soon but ive also felt like this for a few days..
Any answers?

This coming fall I am applying to numerous universities. My overall gpa is a 3.5-3.7 but my SAT and SAT 2 scores are not good. Apparently I am part native american. (very little but about a sixteenth i think) what I am asking is how do I get this proven for college. I heard of genetic testing to find the gene and I have a paper from my great grandmother writing down her family history. I asked my mom (a year back) to get this proven, but she has only found papers since then (I am apparently part cherokee by the way). What more do I need to do to get it proven.
ps I have heard of ancestry.com, but it costs 30 bucks
and if anyone knows more about this gene testing let me know

you dont really need to prove it for any college ive heard of... most colleges will take a handful of applications and look into them, but thats a hundred or so out of tens of thousands for a large school. and if you do get chosen, then shell out the 30 bucks for ancestry.com or show them the letter from your great grandmother and see if thats enough.

I have time warner cable, and i'm trying to program my remote to turn my tv on and off. i went to the channel for programming the remote control, and selected tv and it gave me a list of tv brands to choose the brand of my tv from.
the thing is, my tv brand wasn't listed. how am i supposed to program my remote to turn my tv on and off? it can control the volume and turn the cable box on and off but i don't remember how i programmed that or if i even had to.
any suggestions besides calling my cable company?

almost all universal remotes have a code scan function. cehck the remote instructions, and it should have something where you keep pushing channel up until your tv turns off.

We're getting at&t high speed internet on one of our computers, how would we get it on another computer? Do you have to get it hooked up to the other computer separatly and pay extra or do you use a router or something?? And if you do use a router, can you be on the internet on both computers at once?? you just use a router, and you can be on the internet with both computers at once, however theyll be using the same bandwidth so it will be a little slower. if one of the computers has wifi, just get the wifi modem from att, its like $20 more, and youll be able to use it wirelesly, or you can buy one seperately. most modems will have at least two out ports on them, but it would probably be a hassle to run the second wire if the computer is in another room.

I really want a purity ring (I've always had the beliefs to abstain from all sexual activity until marriage, I just think that a ring would be a cool reminder) but I don't want to ask my parents to get me one because they'd make a big deal about it ("You're 15 and thinking about having sex?!?" Yeah, they're pretty retarded).
I have plain rings at home, if I attach a significance to it and wear it constantly, can I consider it a purity ring? And/or where can I get purity rings for a good price (not online)?

yeah you can just use any ring you want. im guessing your local church would probably sell them... but actual branded purity rings tend to be overpriced.

Ok. I Had a pregnacy scare a few weeks ago. and a week after i had a penis unprtected in me for like 2 sec. he didnt cum or anything in me. I like this guy in my class and he liked me over the summer but i'm not sure if he likes me now or not.
