I have time warner cable, and i'm trying to program my remote to turn my tv on and off. I've had my tv for about 6 years now, and all it says on the front is KLH Digital so i'm assuming that's the brand. this is the remote i got from the cable company with my cable box: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
i went to the channel for programming the remote control, and selected tv and it gave me a list of tv brands to choose the brand of my tv from.
the thing is, my tv brand wasn't listed. how am i supposed to program my remote to turn my tv on and off? it can control the volume and turn the cable box on and off but i don't remember how i programmed that or if i even had to.
any suggestions besides calling my cable company?
thanks.

Tell them the model of the TV and that the instructions they gave with the remote doesn't have the set listed. There's a way to program it and you can be their techies know it.
Other than that look in the manual for TVs made by the same brand and see if their setups will get the remote to work as that's often a possibility that X TV or brand is equivalent to another model they have a code for. [ solidadvice4teens's advice column | Ask solidadvice4teens A Question ]
