ok i asked about the pool party im throwing..well i guess now i have to talk to my mom about getting tampons. how should i go about this? me and my mom are close, but i really never talk to her about my period.
Just say, "Mom, I just started my period & my pool party is coming up, what do I do?". Most likely, she'll say, "Where a tampon" or something. Then just say, "Do we have any?" If not, then say "Can we go get some?" if so, just say, okay. And when the pool party comes up, say I need a tampon. Good luck!

okay well im a teenager and i live in Tampa florida.
my friends and i use to go to the mall every friday. pretty lame huh? yeah thats why we stopped going.
well since we stopped going there isnt really much to do around here.
does anyone have any ideas of what to do on a friday or saturday night? thanks alot.
Here are some ideas that I quickly came up with:
♥ Go to the movies
♥ Rent a movie
♥ Have friends over and watch movies
♥ Have a party/kickback
♥ Bowling
♥ Do you guys have a "local hangout" where people go after school, after football games (during the fall), on weekends? Go there, if not, make a place your "hangout" (kind of like on "Friends"...what do they do at the coffee house? HANG OUT).
♥ I know, it sounds dull, but get a job... you'll be making money, and you never know--it may end up being a fun job, with fun people.
♥ Go online, make a website (if you're friends are busy, or maybe you just want to spend time home alone).
♥ Play monopoly(I don't know what it is about that game... my friends play it a lot, I think they even have a "monopoly night" lol).
♥ If you like photography, or film, maybe take pictures of yourself, or your friends, or make a movie.
♥ You know whats always fun? If you or one of your friends live in a safe area on a non-busy street, hide-and-go-seek at night is always fun. Make your boundries far, but not TOO far and play hide-and-go-seek, or sardines.
♥ Go see local bands/shows
♥ I've been to FL, and its pretty hot there, do one of your friends have a pool? Go night swimming, or have an all night pool party...since summers here, you can tell all your friends to sleep during the day so that they can be up all night for the party.

okay well i was at my grandparents for a little get together and my aunt took a picture of me and my friend outta my purse and went around tellin everyone that he was my boyfriend, and when i found out what she was doing i freaked out and ran over and took it out of her hand and i was like, what the hell were you doing in my purse anyway.. and she was like i need your dads car keys, and im like, first of all..my dad doesnt want you in his fucking car, and you had no right going into my purse and taking out my picture and telling these people a bunch of lies, and shes like, calm down, and im like, lay off the beers and fuck offf. and she got all pissed off. but thats not wrong of me is it? i was right, right?
Well... I DO agree, she shouldn't just go in your purse like that. But you should have put it in nicer terms. But I do agree, she shouldn't just go into your things like that.

im going out to eat with my boyfriend and his family (his mom,dad, 2 bro's, and 2 sister-in-laws, and nephew and neice) anyways.. i gotta inpress them... dont know why but i know i do. So were going to applebee's.. im a very picky eater and i dont know what to get. i dont really like burgers and such. Any suggestions?i was thinking matzarella sticks but i dont know if that'd be rude because its a appetizer.. help. i know its dumb but whatever!

Ok i had a boyfriend..but we never talked one bit..sometimes online but not a very lightening conversation. So i dumped him on feild day. Then he says he has a different girl friend on that same day. He wont tell people who..but i still kind of liked him. The only real reason i dumped him is because we didnt talk..and it was weird when we did. Do you think i made the right choice? Should i just give up on him and fall for another?
Think about this, what else did you like about him, other than looks? It sounds like you didn't really know him at all, anyways. If you want, I'm sure you guys can still be friends, but you WILL need to talk for that.

Hi, Im 15 female and Ive been wanting to go to Kings Island *a big amustment park in my state its about 45 minutes away from my house* and the person I want to drive with is a 17 year old male and a 15 year old female. The 17 year old male would be driving but my mom wont let me go because she doesnt know him and hasnt seen him drive. Ive already asked if she could meet him and then even drive with him but she wont go for that. Can anyone give me any advice on how to convince her to let me? Thank you.
You might not like it, but you'll probably just have to accept the fact that she won't let you go. If he's a friend of yours, I think she should meet him anyways. Maybe theres a slight chance that after she's met him, she'll let you go, but I wouldn't expect it nor get my hopes up. I'm sorry! Also, is there any other person who can drive you guys?

I used to be a really bad kid, like Id sneak out with guys and get drunk and do sexual things. Around New Years Eve (04) I got caught from this and had to go through a drug class. Then in Febuary (05) I got drunk with some guys and got rapped. People have been saying stuff about me because of this. My friends boyfriends tell them not to hang out with me because "I attract niggers, drugs, and alcohol." And my friends parents will say "if you keep hanging out with her youre going to get rapped by black guys." Im not a bad kid anymore, I have moved on from this and do not do drugs or sneak out with guys anymore. I have started being nicer to my mom and decided not to keep anything from her *so everyday I tell her everything that happens even stuff I do with guys.* Is there anyway I can make people stop saying this and realize I am not the same person I was?
Its a good thing that you've decided to change. You just have to keep doing what you're doing and soon enough, people will realize "Hey, she's not out doing drugs anymore...maybe she's changed...". As for your friends parents, if you feel comfortable you can always go up to them personally and explain to them that you've changed. Admit to them your mistakes in the past and explain how you're trying to stay clean. If you usually hang out with your friends outside of your house or their house, or somewhere where their parents can't see you, maybe start going around their house while their parents are home so that they know that you're here, their child is here, and both of you aren't out getting drunk and you're not being a bad influence around their kid. I'm not saying, "always have a parent around when hanging out with friends", you're at an age when you're old enough to go out with friends alone and thats fine. Just go around their parents often so that they know what kind of kid their son/daughter is hanging out with and so they'll be able to trust their son/daughter when they're hanging out alone with you. Just make sure you keep your clean image and don't screw up. You got yourself out of the hole you were once in... just make sure you don't fall into another one. Personally I would go with the "Sweet 15" because its tradition. I doubt your friends would have less of a good time, just because its a "Sweet 15" instead of a "Sweet 16". And its not like its such an unknown tradition, where it'll be a "wierd party". TONS of people know what a "Sweet 15" is and they know its part of your background, so it shouldn't be wierd at all. If you have a friend who knows the girl you want to talk to, go over to your friend when they're together. Then, strike up a conversation with her about whatever it is they were talking about. After say "I'm [your name]." Just be casual at first & get to know her. Don't be totally flirty. As for getting her phone number, the right timing all depends on the girl. Some girls would want to get to know you a little more, and other girls would be willing to give you their phone number after 1 conversation. Hey uhm im 13..and im not the u kno most preppiest girl out there. I have black hair and brown eyes..I want sumthing to do with my hair cuz im tired of being so tomboyish. Im not the skinniest girl so does ne1 have ne tips on how i can be a little more girly without being preppy?
Maybe you get get your hair cut/layered & highlighted. Maybe dye it a lighter color, like brown. When you go to get it cut, just ask the lady what color would look good on you. If your hair is frizzy/curly, you can buy a straightener and straighten your hair. With clothes, if you wear shoes all the time, you can start wearing flip-flops (if you have good weather wear you live) or sandals. Don't use the excuse "But I hate my feet." You can always get a pedicure. If you're not into wearing skirts, or if thats too much of a drastic change, maybe buy some cute hip-hugger jeans (jeans with flip-flops can always be girly, but still casual). If you don't carry a purse or bag, maybe get a couple. They don't have to be Gucci, Prada, etc. Heck, Payless has some cute bags you can look at! As for tops, polos are cute, tanks, fitted tees, vintage tops. All those are cute and depending on what you wear them with, can be girly. Also, if you don't wear makeup, you can try wearing makeup. okay, well i have a black dad and a white mom.. well i dont have white hair and i dont have black hair either.. but its frizzy. it looks REALLY pretty when its straightened, but when you dont put special stuff on it, it looks bad.. anyway, is there any special straightening stuff that you guys know of to put on my hair?
There are different types of "straightening balm" out there that you can try (I don't have any brands at the top of my head). Try that, and then also straighten it and see how it comes out.

Stop trying to talk to him through your guys' friends. And just try being his friend, and let him get to know the real, new, you. Don't be desperate & pushy. My hair has been extra tangled lately. In the morning it takes 10 minutes to brush out my wet hair. Can anyone suggest some products to cure this problem. My first thought was Johnson & Johnson's No More Tangles shampoo, but isn't that for little kids?
I use Paul Mitchells "Super Skinny". It works good. You pump some of the gel into your hand and then first run it through the ends and then work your way up until your hair isn't tangled anymore. I would recommend it. I'm not quite sure on the price, since I'm not the one who bought it, but you could check it out. If its in a good price range, you might want to give it a try.
