Driving.

Question Posted Saturday June 11 2005, 10:49 pm

Hi, Im 15 female and Ive been wanting to go to Kings Island *a big amustment park in my state its about 45 minutes away from my house* and the person I want to drive with is a 17 year old male and a 15 year old female. The 17 year old male would be driving but my mom wont let me go because she doesnt know him and hasnt seen him drive. Ive already asked if she could meet him and then even drive with him but she wont go for that. Can anyone give me any advice on how to convince her to let me? Thank you.

well you couldhave her drive you there and then meet with him dow there. i've been to k.i. myself and its easier because if she drops you off you wont have to walk as far in the parking lot. lame, but its true. as to convice er if you hate my idea, try introducing them and making sure the other female is there too. that would be an instant no in my house if she wasnt there. <3

You might not like it, but you'll probably just have to accept the fact that she won't let you go. If he's a friend of yours, I think she should meet him anyways. Maybe theres a slight chance that after she's met him, she'll let you go, but I wouldn't expect it nor get my hopes up. I'm sorry! Also, is there any other person who can drive you guys?

Hello there,

Is there any possibility of getting an adult to go on the trip?

If the guy has an older brother or sister that also wants to go, your mom may go for that.

Having your mother get a hold of this boy's parents is definitely a step in the right direction.

If it is possible, you might even try inviting your mother... your friends might not like the idea but she might. :-)

Sincerely,

DangerNerd.

Convince her that he's a good guy and she can talk to his parents and when he picks her up she can meet him so she doesn't have to go out of her way to see him drive or anything.
Also, he must be a pretty good driver beacuse he got his lisence.
