my friend thinks she is a few days pregnant...she keeps punching her stomach because she does not want the baby. does this hurt the baby or cause her to have a miscarriage?

"Thinks"?? So she's putting her own life in danger because she THINKS she's pregnant?
That really is a terrible thing to do. She could be damaging vital organs. and if she is pregnant, then yes, it can definitely harm the baby causing a miscarriage.
There are other ways to sort this.
Firstly, by getting a pregnancy test.
Then she needs to think about her options.
By the sounds of it, she doesn't want a baby.
Abortion it is then.
But at the end of the day, she only has herself to blame.
Let this be a lesson to her.
and please, get her some help.

Most 13 year olds should be flat chested.
Wait it out and stop being in such a rush to grow up.

It probably is something to do with the keyboard.
If you haven't already, unplug it, turn off your computer, plug it back in, then turn on the computer.
If this doesn't work, check if you've accidently changed any settings.
Run a virus check, too. Just to be on the safe side.

I'm going to buy a solia hair straightener...

Well, what I need help with is I'm going to buy either a 1 1/2 inch solia...or a 1 inch...and a 1/2 inch IS a big difference when you're straightening your hair...I want to know what you think I should get becuase...if It's too thick then I can't reach the little areas of my hair I need to get to...and if it's too thin it will take me twice as long to straighten...+ the 1 inch one is pink :] LOL. Your hair is stunning!
You'd be better off with the 1 inch, seeing as your hair isn't that long. It will make it so much easier to style too. and flick etc certain parts of your hair. [plus it's pink ;)]

Hey iam a 17 female and I just found out that one of my friends that i've been best friends since 2nd grade is bisexual and I don't know what to do is it ok for me to still be friends with her or what?my mom's very prejedice against people who are gay and bi and she told me not to associate with them,but she's my best friend and I don't think I can stop being friends with her all at once what should I do?

Why question whether to end a long term friendship because your friend is bisexual?
Of course it's still okay for you to be friends with her. It's highly unlikely she's going to try anything with you, if she knows you are clearly NOT bi, or interested for that matter.
Just forget you found out.
It won't change anything between you.
Also, think about what you say first, so she doesn't get offended if you accidently say the wrong thing. :)

okay, basically, i have a hickey on my neck, and its big and purple

ita hot, so no turtle necks, and i dont wear collars
the cover i have isnt working at all

anyways to make it go away faster

Weird ways which do work:
Freeze a spoon for a few minutes and place it over the hickey.
Get a hairbrush and brush it over the hickey. It helps the bloodflow, therefore making it return to natural colour. :)
Also try an ice pack with a thin towel wrapped around, or if you have long hair, wear it down! Eating healthily makes your body recover quicker (seeing as a hickey is a bruise) or wear accessories such as a scarf..
It should be fading in a few days, so don't worry too much!

Lately when I wake up from sleep or a small nap.. my mouth tastes all gross. I get bad breathe and it feels like something gross is all over my teeth and the back of my mouth.

You're most probably sleeping with your mouth open, allowing air to get in and making it dry.
You can try taking a cup of water to bed with you, incase you wake up, or for the morning.
If you have a blocked nose, or if you snore, this can affect it too.
Are you dehydrated? Do you drink enough through the day?
Also, if you are taking any medication, this can make your mouth like you've explained when you wake up.
It's nothing to worry about, but if you want advice, you're better off asking the dentist. :)

One of my molars Are chipping & it has a hole like right in the middle and another hole right next to that one.

I brush my teeth about 3-4 times a day.

Is this something i should go to a dentist for?
And do they pull teeth for situations like this. because i broke a diff tooth ( it didnt look like this one does) a few years ago with my toothbrush & he had to pull it.

Definitely. You probably need it filled if there's holes to prevent it getting any worse and allowing bacteria to get in, causing painful infections and worse.

I start school soon and I have the hardest time falling asleep. I've gone to a doctor and they told me to change some things like eating before I go to bed, have alittle light & no lights in my room, music on in the background & no music and other stuff. I have tried everything and I just can't fall asleep. I asked about sleeping pills and the doctor yelled at me and told me I don't need them because it just my eating habits and distractions. I know it's not because I've tried changing different things everynight or after along period. Most of the time when I'm lying in bed I think about the day and what tomorrow will be like, and other stuff. I have a journal because that way I can get my mind off of things. I'm not always stressed out about school so I don't know whats wrong! :( Do you know what might be wrong? Is there over the counter sleeping pills I can get? & What are some things that might help me fall asleep? Thanks. :)

I have the same problem as you.
No matter what I do, I end up lying there, wide awake until around 5am.
I've given up trying now and stay on the computer before bed. This is bad however, because the computer screen doesn't let your brain register it's bed time. So if you use the computer before bed, don't. Come off at least an hour before.
There are lots of over the counter medicines you can take. It's just a case of going to your pharmacy to see which ones would suit you best. If your doctor wasn't very helpful, ask the pharmacist for advice :)
Most people think not being able to sleep is caused through stress, but alot of the time, it isn't.
You should have a hot bath a few hours before you go to bed, It helps you sleep better.
and when you're trying to get to sleep, read a book or write. Both are effective, peaceful and make you tired, enabling a good nights sleep.
If you don't already, you need a sleep pattern.
Go to bed the same time every night and wake up the same time. Your body will soon get used to it.

Ok, So I am going out with this guy. He is 26 and I am 16, well soon to be 17. But people keep saying that he is to old. But he makes me happy. Then again he makes me annoyed sometimes but then again thats life. lol.

Some people just can't accept big age gaps in relationships. If you're happy with him, what other people think shouldn't bother you. You are old enough to understand what you're letting yourself in for.
Some people prefer older partners anyway, because most have more experience.
I, personally, wouldn't date someone 10 years older/younger than me at the moment, but that could possibly change in the future.

Why is it a guys job?
You're both in the relationship, you're both going to participate in having sex, so really, it's both of your responsibility to get the protection you need.
It can be embarrassing, but everyone does it. and in the end, noone really cares what you buy.

If you're worried about the person at the check out, don't be. Go together if you like. and confidently walk up with them. Surely, the worker would be happy you're playing it safe!
If neither of you want to purchase them from stores, why not get them from machines in toilets? Or get someone else to get them for you. You can even go to your family planning center and get free ones. Better still, you can get free ones from the internet and they get sent to you in packaging where noone would know there's condoms inside.

It's been thought if you try one cigarette under the age of 11, you can become addicted.
Other than that, no, one cigarrette will take a few minutes from your life, but you will not become addicted and start chain smoking!
But don't forget, once you've had your first one, you can either hate it so much you never want to try again, or think it's not so bad. Usually, this means you will have a few more.
It's your life and your decision in the end. :)
