I'm a mother of 2 boys who are 13 months apart. Talk about a handful. I'm a wife to the best husband I could have ever dreamed of.

I have Bipolar 1 Disorder. I hate taking all these medications and always going to doctors appointments, but life is too short to let mental illness get the better of me.

Often times life is a challenge, and nobody knows that better than me. I wake up wondering if this is going to be a day my illness overpowers my meds, and either sends me flying like a bat out of hell, or leaves me laying on the couch like a wet dish rag.

Thank all that is good in the world that I have an excellent support system at home.

Im 15 years old and around 120 pounds. I had unprotected sex the week I was on my placebo pills for birth control. I dicided to take emergency contreception and I took it on the 3rd day after unprotected sex. I consider my chances of pregnancy low because I used the pill as directed for both birth control and emergency contreception. But now I may be experiencing signs of pregnancy, or because my body is used to the pill. I started taking the pill a month ago, my doctor told me it was effective after 1 week of use. I had the unprotected sex about 2 days after my period that month. I started my regualar birth control again 3 days after unprotected sex. All of a sudden in a short period, my boobs have gotten larger, and I do feel slightly sick in the mornings, but this also could be because Im naturally quesy when I wake up and hate eating. People do say your boobs get larger from birth control, so Im wondering if its from that or if there is still a chance of pregnancy. Also I had pink discharge after I took the morning after pill. I looked it up and it is a sign of pregnancy, but it is also your cirvix being torn from sex or "break through bleeding" from birth control. Im still wondering my chances of pregnancy and if these symtoms could just be from the pill.

I would venture to say your chances of being pregnant are slim to none, with taking birth control and the emergency contraception.

If you become 2 weeks late for your period, you should get tested for pregnancy.

It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to call into your doctor's office and discuss all of this with their nurse ASAP.

we went out for a year and a half and he cheated on me with some other girl then he cheated on her with me and told me we were gonna get back together.. we had sex and everything and he told me he loved me then out of nowhere he told me he doesnt think our relationship is gonna work out and told me he doesnt want to see me anymore. i told him i didnt wanna talk to him anymore because theres no reason because ill just keep falling in love with him and never get over him. the problem is he wont stop calling.. and he calls from private numbers. and he tries to be my friend! i dont get it does he still love me?

Sounds like he doesn't love you, but that he knows you still care enough about him that he can say he does to get what he wants from you. He is using you.

When he calls you, just hang up on him. After a while, he will get the hint that you mean business about not wanting to talk to him and he will eventually give up.

He's not worth your time and effort anyhow. You are better than that.

This Thursday, I am getting my tonsils out at the ENT. I'm so scared though. Everyone is telling me that it hurts to bad afterwards and a bunch of other bad things. I can't even sleep because I'm so scared that something will go wrong. If I'm like this now, I'm going to be even worse the day of the surgery.

Does anyone know of something I can do before the surgery to help me relax about this? Or if you have had your tonsils out, what did you feel like afterwards and what all happened?

All I can tell you is this much: Once this is over, you will never feel the pain of sore tonsils again in your life. Won't that be so wonderful?

Also, as an added bonus, you will get to eat lots of ice cream for a couple of days. Hope you like ice cream...

Hey, I'm getting ready to have a baby here in about a week. If I listened to all of the labor horror stories I have been told, I would be a nervous wreak. I don't think I would ever be ready!

I recently got injured badly during gymnastics and my leg broke in several places- to make a long story short I will be in a cast for another 8 weeks about, then in a soft cast. I am a little fat and I use to work out but now I cannot and I really need to loose weight before summer and I was so close! Now I feel it will be impossible. Does anyone know any diets which I can do that will make me lose weight without without exersize because I can't. I don't care how hard it is or how it may be unhealthy to do it because at this point I just need it.

I will say this much, ESPECIALLY with your leg broken so badly, you need to eat a healthy diet! You don't want to get into an unhealthy diet- your body needs all of the nutrients it can get in order to heal itself.

It's sad though. You should care if you want your leg to heal properly in a decent amount of time. I guess losing weight must be more important than being able to walk? Hmmm...

When me and my boyfriend are having intercourse and he goes in deep or in from behind I feel a very sharp pain inside just above my pelvic region. This has been occuring alot. I hate my body! My vagina is totally warped! My innerlip on the right side is way too large and it actually hangs out past my outer lips. Totally disgusting. Usually, from my own witnessing, labels are generally of the negative nature.

How does it effect the people?
The one labeling some one a "freak" or "loser" does it for the affect of feeling bigger, better, and empowered over the other person. This person tends to see faults in themselves and puts down others faults to help mask their own. (Or so they think) They tend to do this in order to boost their own self esteem.

The one being labeled such things gets effected by feeling small, belittled, and worthless under the other person. This person tends to become sad and think that all others see in them is their faults, and that they are beneath everyone. (Or so they think) They tend to acquire a low self esteem.

I went to a party and i had never drunk a day in y life but i wanted to try it and try different taste and drink only so that i didn't get drunk I so I opened one bottle of liquor soft it was but i didn;t finish it but i drunk a bit of it theyn they begin to mix drinks i got a mudslide drink that i didn't finish but it was nasty and i got a strawberry daquori it was fairly good the best i had all night but i didn't want to finish it because i didn't want to get drunk that is why i didn;t try to finish a lot of the earlier stuff because id din't want to finish it and not be able to try somehting else becasue i was already tipsy. I also had a jello shot but it was so strong i could taste the alcohol and i did not ask for that. I don't think you were wrong. There is nothing wrong with wanting to try a drink, but not wanting to drink it due to not wanting to get drunk.

Next time, if you are just out for tasting the drinks and not actually drinking them, only mix a swallows worth into your cup. If it is a bottled drink, such as a malt beverage, open the bottle, pour a taste into your cup and give the rest of the bottle to some one who wants to drink it.

I doubt you were the only person at the party who wasted drinks.

I'm in a relationship with this guy. We have been going out since the 6th. And I'm having weird feelings about him.

If he is too busy to hang out on the weekend, he'll say as much. Don't be afraid to ask him to hang out with you out of fear he has too many other plans.

If you have OCD, it explains a lot about not wanting to touch the guy. It doesn't make you sound stupid- you have a disorder. You need to find a way to over come your issues with not wanting to touch others, but for you that is more difficult to do than it would be for me.

Do you see a doctor or councilor about your OCD? If you do, you should ask them about this. They know your history, and we don't. They may be able to help you find a way to feel comfortable being affectionate with him.

I love to make things especially from recycled things. I want to make a necklace or keychain from a bottle cap because I saw some cute ones online. I have a dozen bottle caps... things is, I'm 16 & not supposed to have smirnoff bottle caps in the first place. I guess I could cover the back with a sticker if I make something for my bf but how do I get it by the parents?

Of course, you don't want your caps to bear the logo of Smirnoff at your age. As long as you cover that up, I think it would be fine.

Having the caps for a craft project and actually drinking the drink are two completely different things. So, as long as you and your boyfriend aren't the ones consuming the alcoholic beverage that the caps came from, there shouldn't be any problems.

Still, cover the logo of any caps from any alcohol. It would be frowned upon everywhere for a teenager to wear a piece of jewelry bearing a name of a drink that is illegal for them to consume.

Okay. So I have this guy friend. He's 17. And I like him a lot. He's very nice to me, and we're practically best friends. BUT...about 2 weeks ago, he told me he didn't want to be with me. But we should still be best friends. And so about two weeks ago, I found out he has a girlfriend. She's the same age, but he knew her for a less amount of time than me. The thing is - I get SO jealous and I want to be with him - but since he already told me off about that, there is really nothing I can do. But, whenever we're in a group conversation on MSN or something, I get SO pissed and jealous and just storm off. The thing is - she's really nice. As much as I would love to be happy for them - him and her - I can't face my jealousy. I can't be happy for them without hating her evern though she didn't do anything bad to her. Now whenever I talk to him, I'm filled with hatred and the most JEALOUS kind of jealousy in the world. I always wish them the worst. I always cry about it and wish that they would break up. What do I do? How can I overcome this? :(

Oh boy- that ugly green monster we call jealousy. Once it sinks it's claws into us, it's hard to get rid of.

So this guy is your best friend, right? You need to respect him and his wishes. You need to respect his girlfriend, and try to make friends with her. Yah, I know that is a hard thing to do right now, but it is something you NEED to do because he is your friend.

Think of it this way, you jealousy is effecting your friendship. You don't want that to happen, I'm quite sure. It's also effecting a potentially good friendship you could have with his girlfriend.

My suggestion? You need to give yourself a little space from them until you can get over your crush on him. Don't talk to them, don't hang out with them until you get your head screwed on straight.

He already knows your feelings towards him, so tell him why you plan to steer clear of him for a while so he understands what is going on. You don't want something like this to tear apart a good friendship, and I highly doubt he does either.

Well, it's too bad that she has made this life decision for herself, but it is her choice to make. I wouldn't tell anyone, unless she is in a harmful situation. She has confided this bit of information in you, and that is something you should respect.

As her friend, you need to try to ensure that she is educated on the prevention of Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) and pregnancy.

The link below gives information about preventing STDs. She should always be sure a condom is used. Not only does it protect against pregnancy, but it is her ONLY protection against STDs. She should also consider getting on birth control of some sort AS WELL as ALWAYS using condoms. It is always better to be safe than sorry.

Choose the one who will be good to you. Yah, the "bad boy" image has always been something girls are into, but don't base your decision on a guy's image- that can turn out to be a huge mistake. Base it on who will be honest, trustworthy, and respectful towards you.

My school prom is coming up soon and I have been told that a boy is going to ask me to go with him, this boy told me he liked me a few months ago and I told him I already have a boyfriend (but I don’t really) because I don’t like him in that way. After he told me, we stopped talking to each other because it was awkward, but recently we started talking again. Now, so soon after, he is going to ask me to the prom and I don’t know what to say. If I say yes I’m worried about what he will expect, for example do I have to stay with him the whole time and would I have to dance with him, because I would find that really awkward. Please could you help me with my decision.

If you accept his invitation to the prom, then yes, you are expected to spend the whole time with him, and yes, you will have to dance with him. Accepting his invite will be accepting a date with him.

To accept and then do your own thing and ignore him would be rude and selfish. He would be more hurt if you did that than if you simply decline.

If you don't want to go with him and know you would feel awkward being his date for the evening, then you need to tell him that you are sorry, but not interested.

It is better to hurt him a little by rejecting his invitation than to accept it and hurt him a lot by stomping on his feelings and pride.

hey, i was just wondering if anyone has any experience with either spray tanning or regular tanning while having acrylic nails on. would you be able to go tanning with them on? cause with spray tanning wouldnt they turn like orange? or with regular tanning would they melt? would there be any damage with either of the types?

The best thing I can think for you to do is to ask the people at the tanning salon at the time you set your appointment. They will be able to give you the information you seek.
If you have already set an appointment, call and ask before you go in; days before your scheduled appointment if possible.
