Ok so i'm a 15 year old boy and there's this girl that i havent really met....but i see her around A LOT and shes very hyper and goofy around everyone and shes just idk seems special, ya know? and she has this battered up worn book which i think is called 1984...it has a white cover with like a blue eye on it. Every now and then i catch her rereading it. I think its her favorite, so i was wondering whats the book like about? is it some chick book? and like what does it say about her?

1984 is a book by George Orwell. It basically describes a totalitarian government, under which you are always being watched by "Big Brother," as others have mentioned. The plot follows Winston Smith, a man who slowly begins to break the ridiculous, oppressive rules set by the government. I read this a while ago, quite a good book. You should read it!

You should also go for this girl. She seems cooler than most of the other so-and-so's you find in your local high school.

I have a lot of fun with clothes broseph. I like wearing dresses with flats, sandals, or sometime heels. Skinny jeans and cute shirts or sweaters are good. I almost never wear tee shirts because I don't like the way they look on me. As far as shoes go, I do wear moccasins often.

i have really curly hair and i usually add baby oil or gel to keep it tamed but i always get an oily face and start to break out cause of the oil in my hair. what can i put in my hair instead that works with really curly hair?

I have very curly hair too. Garnier Fructis Curl Spray Gel is one of my favorite products. You can put it on both wet and dry hair. I also love dove mousse.

You have every right to love whoever you want to love. If you like girls, it is absolutely none of your friends business.

However, like the person below me stated, if the girl you are interested in is straight there may be some difficulties. Talk to her to see if she's interested.

Just remember that being gay or bisexual is completely OK. If your friends cannot respect that, they are not your true friends.

so i went canoeing yesterday and got pretty banged up and i have this ugly bruise on the inside of my thigh and i was just wondering if it was ever going to go away. my dad called it a "strawberry" and said they go away but my friend has a ugly bruise on her leg and she said it will never go away. will mine?

Most bruises do go away. Yours probably will as well. Give it a few days, and it will gradually grow lighter until it fades completely.

So I'm to the point in my friendship with a girl that I'm ready to ask her out, and I think she likes me too although of course I'm nervous anyway. SO I have thought of about 3 ways to do it and I want to know which one I should use.

1) Just straight up tell her my feelings for her. Probably the most risky one in my opinion. Also then "ask" her if she feels the same way.

2) Be funny about it, and make it not a question but more of a command, like "so when are you going to let me take you out on a date?" Like with a smirk, and real direct. To me this seems less risky and less awkward. But of course she could laugh it off and I wouldn't get an answer.

3) Play 20 questions with her, and like for all my questions it would be "do you like a guy," and then ask questions describing myself "is he tall," "does he like sports," etc. and then for the last question I would ask if she wanted to be my girlfriend. This sounds the funnest, but I think it would be really hard to steer the conversation that way.

Number one or three would be the best option. Number two is bad because of the fact that you could both just laugh it off and pretend it's a joke. When asking someone out, you should really let yourself be vulnerable.

Number three sounds really cute, but some girls might find it creepy. You probably know her well enough to know how she would respond to this. Number one is really a safe bet. Being straight forward will give you the most direct clear answer.

Yes, it can pop your cherry, but your "cherry" isn't a good indicator of virginity, as it can broken riding a bike, a horse, and doing other normal activity. Until you engage in sex, you are a virgin, regardless if your hymen is intact or not.

I wouldn't get him a one year anniversary gift. You were broken up for months, so it really doesn't count as a full year.

ok. so, a little background.
I am 19, my boyfriend is also 19. we have been dating for 3 years and want to be with each other..well, forever. we are very committed to each other. I am personally against underage drinking. i have never had a drop of alcohol in my life. i am scared of what i might do while under the influence.. i really don't want to embarrass myself.
My boyfriend has drank with his friends/groups of people before. i dont approve and i've told him that. the way things are..its like, .. him drinking is only something to do behind my back and he has a ton of fun and he likes to do it without me around because he doesnt want me to see what he's like around other people.
He never takes me places, like out with his friends or anything. i am slightly overweight and kinda shy but i always try my hardest to be outgoing and not clinging to him when we go places. i'm getting better, i think.
ok. last year we both went to different schools after graduating high school. he promised over and over and over, i will not drink, i did not drink, i swear, i love you and i'm not lying. i believed him.

today he confessed that he drank every single weekend and alot of the weekdays, for 6 months straight. he also drank 17-18 cans of beer, puked, blacked out, and was driven home by guys who had the same amount of alcohol. and he went to strip clubs but..supposedly just stood in the corner. he swears he didn't cheat....but now i'm not sure what to believe.

i am SO SO relieved that he told me that. he says he's sorry for lying and that he is very glad he got this off of his chest and he feels like we're closer now. which is amazing because we never really have "intimate" talks about really personal stuff.

he wants me to drink with him. (every once in awhile). he wants me to go to parties with him also only every once in awhile. i am afraid to drink. i'm afraid to see how he'll act towards me while he's drunk because i've never been in his presence while he was intoxicated.

my questions are:
*i'm a little ticked off about him lying to me. is that wrong??
*is it THAT bad to encourage you to wait until you're 21 to drink??
*should i consider drinking with him(not getting wasted,only like 1-2 beers)?? i would like to do it but i don't know.
any thoughts or advice about my situation?

I would be ticked off at him lying to me more than the act of drinking itself. A relationship is about trust. He should be able to tell you the truth under all circumstances, even if it isn't what you want to hear.

No, it's really not that bad to encourage him to wait until he's 21 to drink. It would much more wrong to encourage him to drink underage if he wasn't ready to, which he is doing to you.

Finally, if you don't want to drink, don't drink. He should not be pressuring you to do something you do not want to do. Hold your ground and don't drink. The decision to drink at all in your lifetime is YOURS not his. Do what feels right to YOU.

okay soo i lived in this country where i walked in a certain part of town and i get the dirt in my eyes and one eye swells up
well i moved all the way to texas and i was at warped tour in a mosh pit
and there was a dust cloud
now my face is swelled up and so are my eyes
there are little itchy almost unnoticeable bumps all over my body. basically a mild irritated rash

when will it go away and when should i see a doctor is possible ?

It sounds like you've experienced an allergic reaction. Try taking Benadryl to make the swelling go away.

Remember though- no one can diagnose you over the internet. It is best to see a doctor just to be sure.

God is so fucking powerful that there is absolutely no birth control you can use against him. If you attempt to thrawt his plan to get you pregnant, he will strike you dead with a bolt of lightning. BTW: He is planning to get you pregnant. I would know this my friend, because I am the holy ghost.

Okay I know this HAS to be really stupid but I really don't understand it.

I was listening to the 3OH!3 song "Don't Trust Me" last night and realized I was confused about a part. haha I love 3OH!3 though and Don't Trust Me is totally my favorite song.

It says:

What's that mean?

It's a play on words.

"Beef" is slang meaning holding a grudge, or having a problem with someone. Since vegetarians obviously don't eat beef because it comes from cows, the songwriter is basically saying he is not afraid to take down the boyfriend.

i'm 14, turning 15 july 21st. i'm 100 lbs and i think im around 5'0 but i could be a little taller. i'm completely flat-chested and really upset about it. when i say flat-chested, i don't mean 32A bra. i mean there's nothing there at all, it's like i'm a 10 year old. i know i may be a little on the small side, but i'm almost 15. no one my age that i have ever met is flat-chested like me.
people say i could be a late bloomer, but i have hair in the places i should, so i know i've started. i don't have my period yet, though, and my doctor told me if i don't by the time i'm 15 they start to worry.
what should i do?

If you have not started your period, it is normal to have smaller breasts, or in your case, be flat chested.

Unfortunately, there is no magical food to eat to make your boobs bigger. You shouldn't worry about taking growth hormones or the like, since you are far too young for that!

Your best bet is to talk to your mother or another female family member about when their breasts started to develop. Family members tends to develop similarly.

Don't worry- all girls are different. Some have been wearing a bra since they were 8 years old, some won't need one until well after their period starts. You aren't some kind of freak of nature ;)

Do you miss anything, or anyone from your past and regret things happening?

Sure I miss people. I miss those who have moved on from this world that I once knew. I miss my friends who live in other countries. It's natural to miss people; we all do at some point.

I also miss places, weird as it may be. I miss France especially, as it is beautiful there. However, I just look at it as incentive to go back.

I do not regret anything. I've done stupid things that have hurt myself and others, but I learned from my mistakes.
