so i went canoeing yesterday and got pretty banged up and i have this ugly bruise on the inside of my thigh and i was just wondering if it was ever going to go away. my dad called it a "strawberry" and said they go away but my friend has a ugly bruise on her leg and she said it will never go away. will mine?

yes don't worry. If its a bruise, then it will go away. It can last up to 3 weeks but they always go away. I'm a goalie in lacrosse and im playing D1 in college so I know ALOT about bruises. But dont worry, most of them just look bad. All bruises go away.

Most bruises do go away. Yours probably will as well. Give it a few days, and it will gradually grow lighter until it fades completely.
