You have 1 day left to get the morning after pill. Bearing in mind it won't be as effective. 50-55%.
There are other emergency contraception methods which give you 5 days. Ask your doctor about it.

I got my period, but it was alot lighter than usually, and only 4 days instead of the usual 7, and I had no signs that i would get it, like usually I get cramps and swollen breats. I got swollen breats now, about a week after my period.
I have also been eating alot, I cannot get full.
I do weightlifting frequently, would that throw stuff off? Then again E have been doing weight training for 3 months pretty much.
Also, I tore something around my left pelvic region, could that effect it?

Forget the advice the previous columnist said. You CAN still be pregnant and have your period. After all, that is how my nephew was born. There were no signs his mum was pregnant apart from the weight gain.
and it is possible you could be pregnant. How can you be so sure he didn't precum?
This could just be a lighter period than normal.. or it could be "spotting". something some people get when pregnant. Most people actually think it's a period, when it's just bleeding inbetween.
Tearing something around your pelvic region will in no way affect your period.
If I were you, I'd get a pregnancy test to make sure everything's okay.
Also, just a thought, if his penis entered you, you aren't a virgin. Doesn't matter if your cherry didn't "pop".

Hello, I'm getting a needle at school (Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis [whooping cough]) and I have a horrible fear about it. Last time I had one (grade 7) I cried by eyes out and in the end I was sick in bed for 7 days after the needle so I do not have a good record of them. Please give me some hints and tips on how to control this Pobia :)
Because you've had bad experiences with needles in the past, it doesn't mean every needle you have in the future will be the same.
You're not alone with your phobia. It's actually quite common. I'm confused as to why you were sick in bed for 7 days though. Was it a reaction to the shot? Or because you brought it on yourself? Either way, you can be helped.
Sure - sometimes they can hurt - but they're quite necessarry to have.
Some tips to take your mind off it can be to stare at a picture or a spot on the wall. Focus on it and don't think about what's going to happen. Don't even look at your arm or the needle. Ask if your friends can stand with you. They can help cheer you up and talking will take your mind off it.
Try and take slow controlled breaths. Try not to panic.
Tell the person doing it you're very afraid. They can talk you through it and help put your mind at ease.
Have a drink of water afterwards.
Remember, it's no where near as bad as you think it will be.

hi, when i start walking or move my ankle, it makes a huge cracking noise.

I got my braces off in july and i wear my retainer every night and when i remember to around the house but never out. I have noticed a gap forming where the retainer ends on my top teeth, is that normal?
Your retainer could be a bit loose. Go back to your orthodontist and he will tighten it in seconds. It happened to me, too.
Sadly though, sometimes after braces, teeth do start to move back to their original position slightly - even if you do wear a retainer.

For my fourteeth birthday my parents have decided that I can get a cartilage piercing. I was really excited and told my friends. One of them got this pained look on her face and said that when her sister got her cartilage pierced, she fainted because it hurt so bad. My other friend told me her piercing didn't hurt one bit. Now I'm confused. On a scale of 1 to 10 how much does it hurt?
1. It's a dull sharp pain which lasts a few seconds. Then it numbs. You will feel it throbbing for a while afterwards. Cold weather can make it hurt a bit and banging it will obviously cause a bit of pain.
Everyones tolerance to pain is different. If you want it, go for it. Don't let the pain factor put you off. Chances are your friend fainted because she was worried or afraid of needles. It's really not that bad.

Chances are, you aren't. But there is always that risk. My period was late for 5 days.. Worrying only made it worse. So try your best to forget about it. Give it a bit more time then get a pregnancy test. Don't worry too much about it. It's early stages and you have alot more options :)

can drinking coffe, not eating make heart palpations worse?
I've had this problem when I was younger. I cut out things which triggered palpitations and I didn't get them any where near as much as I used to. So yes, especially as you aren't eating, it will definitely make the attacks worse.

If you don't have any good computer editing programs, use paint. Just zoom into the picture you want to edit and black it out. May take longer, but looks great afterwards. I know people who've done it this way and it's pretty impressive!

1. Take a picture of yourself.
2. Colour in your body BLACK using paint.
3. Draw in the headphones.

If you haven't "had ANYTHING up there at all" and you go straight into sex, even if you're relaxed, it will probably feel tight and you'll be sore for a while. You can even expect a little bleeding, so don't be too alarmed if that does happen when you're ready for your first time.
But I wouldn't know, because I've never been in that situation and gone straight into sex without having done anything before. [hence why mine was pain free and enjoyable :)]
You shouldn't let this factor worry you. Your vagina stretches and if it's suited for giving birth, it will definitely be suited for a penis!
It just may take a bit of practice for it to feel good. :)

It's impossible for you to steralise any equipment yourself without an autoclave.
Positioning is also a hard factor without the correct clamps.. not to mention the right jewelry.
Don't do it. You most probably will end up regretting it.. and if it goes wrong and you want a professional to do it in the future, it could jeopardise that due to scar tissue. Or, you could still do it but it will hurt more and be a longer healing process.
Don't put yourself at that risk.

My 17th birthday is coming up in March and on my birthday weekend I happen to have dance competitions. Its going on it OR and thats where my sister lives. I really want to get my belly button peirced. My sister has a good peircing place in mind but what I'm asking you about is basically what to expect. Do they use piercing guns for a belly button piercing or a needle? I know pain differs from one person to the next.
Just some answers is all I require.

Any piercing parlour which uses guns should be steered WELL clear of. They spread diseases and put you at a higher risk of catching an infection.
It's a bit hard to pierce a belly button with a gun though ;] so yes, needles are used.
You probably will be clamped too. People say the clamp hurts more than the needle. I, personally, have never been clamped so I can't really comment on that part, but don't worry about the needle itself. It's a sharp pain for such a small amount of time. Bearing in mind, it will ache for a few days afterwards because belly buttons are in an awkward place, not allowing you to bend/get dressed etc properly.
Follow cleaning advice and soak it with warm sea salt water for when your piercing feels irritated. Works wonders.

i am an athlete at college and i am bulimic...i also just found out i have a heart murmur...i think its caused by my bulimia...is it pssibl that i might have a heart condtion?
Heart murmers are quite common. Many people have them (a very small one including myself) and live normal lives without any problems at all. It depends on the severity of it.
If you need any information on heart murmers, google it. Many links will come up. Each one will have information necessarry.
It may be showing up because you are bullimic, as some cases give you an irregular heartbeat.
Have you been checked out? It's advised to. If yes, you will be notified if you need any treatment.

what are some signs that you are about to have your period???
(I'm not talking about your very 1st period. just any regular period)
You can often feel bloated, get a clear discharge, tender breasts, spots, tiredness, cramps and sometimes even cravings. Not everyone suffers from these symptoms though. You have to learn to recognise your own body patterns, which could take some time because not all people have symptomatic periods!
Should I be worried if one of my spacers fell out before my braces go on in 4 days?
I'd recommend asking your dentist either by phone or popping in just to be certain. It doesn't seem too much of a big deal and can easily be put back on when you get your braces, as one of mine had to be changed when I got mine :)
But to be sure, it doesn't hurt to check!
