I have this friend. He lives about 45 minutes from me and so i dont seee him often. Hes like my family friend and i have thought he was hott for a long time now. He doesnt know the real me. He thinks im just a little good girl with no life. He said that, judging by the way i talk and act. I am not really like that, He is getting that impression because i act nice and good infront of my couins. Whenever i see him, im with my cousins. How do i show him, that im not one of those little good girls, im a normal teenager who knows whats going on?

Just be yourself around him. Be that rebellious teenager you want to be [just try not to get in too much trouble]! Maybe do something around him that he wouldn't think you would do.

I don't know- I'm not really what you would call a "rebellious" teenager... I listen to my parents and I'm an overall good kid. Sure- I try to rebel against my chores- but I always end up doing them anyway. I give in too easily. That's why I think its funny you're asking me- of the 46 THOUSAND people or more on this site.. haha.

Lately I've been getting angry over nothing. It's getting really weird. Like tonight I said hi to someone I knew and they didn't say hi back so I kept walking and got really angry and I felt like stabbing or punching something. Even if I think abut something it will trigger anger all of a sudden and I'll feel like stabbing something.

Well.. I am always irritable after I get home from school [its summer so it hasn't been that often].. and I figured out why. It is because I was having to get up at 6:00 in the morning every day [couldn't sleep in on weekends because I have church on Sundays and chores on Saturdays] and going to bed at midnight or later [y'know.. the time when you can go to Wendy's or Burger King and STILL get a meal? LOL!]. Well.. because of this.. I wasn't getting enough sleep.

Let's explore this thought. Have you been getting enough sleep? That is, have you been getting AT LEAST 8 hours, maybe 9? I know what you're thinking. Its summer! Of course I have! I've been sleeping in every day! Well yes, its summer.. and people our age [I'm assuming you're a teenager] tend to stay up, whether to be "cool" or because they have a TV show to watch or whatever. Going to bed at 1am, 2am, or 3am, or any time AFTER 11pm isn't the smartest thing to do. I read somewhere that your body actually does most of its recharging, I guess, between 11pm and 2am, and if you aren't asleep during most or all of that time.. you're going to be extremely tired the rest of that day. So.. if you're tired.. normal things that wouldn't cause you to be angry will be magnified times a million.. and they will easily piss you off. Like for me, if I'm really tired, and someone asks me to do something.. I get mad.

If that isn't the case, let's explore another possible factor: Stress. Are you stressed or worried about anything? Do you have something coming up that you don't want to do, but you have to do it? This happens to me a lot.. and it just causes me to be stressed out, and when I'm stressed, I'm much like how I am when I'm tired- I get pissed easily. If this is the case, that you are stressed, then just take things slowly and one at a time. Don't let simple things overwhelm you.

If that isn't the case... just try relaxing. If you feel that you're irritable and pissed off.. find a place to sit and calm down.. like your bedroom, somewhere outside, or any soothing place to be. As for your actions.. I know how you feel. I get really embarrassed that I acted a certain way, and I don't feel like I belong. After you are calm, go back to the people you "flipped" out on, and just apologize for what you did. You don't have to make up excuses.. just be completely honest.

Good luck.. and I actually took time to answer this, because I relate well to this situation, and I felt obliged to help you.

First- I'm going to tell you that relationships aren't all they are cracked up to be. Sure- they are fun having someone to share things with and be with. But they involve a huge commitment and if you end up with someone who is clingy- they'll want to be with you every minute of every day- and you might not have time for friends or anything else you want to do. I say this because my ex-girlfriend was sort of like that- and got mad if I was busy with other plans.. and it was just really retarded. I haven't had a girlfriend since then [last December, I believe].

Anyway- the best way to attract a guy is to be yourself. If you try to change yourself just to get a boyfriend [especially at your age]- you'll just end up with someone who only likes you for what you've become- not who you are. If you be yourself- and don't change- you'll attract more guys who actually care about your personality rather than just your looks.

I myself like any type of girl. I honestly don't judge looks as much as I do personality. If a girl is absolutely stunningly beautiful, but she's a bitch- why would I like her? What would our relationship be? What would we talk about? Her latest hair extensions? Yeah- that would be REALLY nice *Sarcasm: Party of one!*...
If a girl has a really nice personality- and she's really outgoing and sweet and nice and smart- and she's not necessarily the best looking girl- but she's not super unattractive- then I'll most likely want to date her over the beautiful bitch.

Do you get what I'm saying? If you let guys see your personality more than your looks- you'll end up with someone great. Trust me- most guys prefer personality over looks- they just don't know it yet =].

I found a kitten the other day at work, I think it was dropped off there. It is infested with fleas they are all over him. I have given him the treatments that you squirt stuff behond there necks, I have given him a flea bath but they are still all over him. What else can I do to get rid of the fleas. I feel bad because I am leaving him in a rabbut cage thats pretty big in the garage, because I don't want to bring him in the house and get all my other animals infested, so what else can I do to eliminate all these little critters? Any help would be very appriciated! Fast Too!

First- I would like to say that it was very awesome of you to take the cat with you. That was really nice.. and I think its horrible when pets are abandoned...

hello everyone, i would like to ask, 'how can you tell a guy likes you?', i have this friend i like him a lot but i dont know if he likes me, i get the impression that he might, its just the way he looks at me, and how he doesn't talk when other friends are with us but when we are alone he talks, and we do get on but i dont know how i could tell if he likes me, any guys out there can you tell me how i can read a guys mind?

-Laugh at things she says [whether they are funny or not].

-Smile at her a lot.

-Try to make her laugh.

-Try to make her smile.

-Try to get her to touch me in some way.

-Touch her in some way [not sexual].

-Look into her eyes.

-Stare at her [but not awkwardly].

If he does some of these things- he may like you. None of us can tell you if someone likes you.. you have to find out yourself.. but these signs may help you...

If you really want to know- just ask him. Who knows- you could end up in a relationship!

Merci beaucoup like whoa lol. And no, I don't take French. This is gonna be pretty long so grab a bag of chips and a soda.

So, this mostly takes place when school was in. Now it's the summer. I'm 15/f and let's call him Bob. Bob is 16/m & he's in a grade level higher than me. Most of my friends are, too. Including his ex girlfriend [let's call her Cindy and we'll get back to her]. I met him when school started and we were pretty flirtatious with one another and there were rumors going around about "us" and people asking me if I liked him and what not. But I'm the type of person that would deny stuff because I'm pretty shy when it gets to crushes and what not [who isn't?] So, I pretty much said no and stuff, but I think it was partially because of Cindy. All the people that were asking me were in Cindy/Bob's grade and I didn't want it getting to Cindy that I liked Bob b/c I'm her friend and she gets pretty jealous and she's the type of girl that's desperate for any guy. And Bob and Cindy were on and off for a while last year. Anywhos. So that's that. And then I went into my withdrawal time where I involuntarily push everyone away for a month or longer. That when I guess Bob and I kind of "grew apart". I pretty much tried several different things to try and get back to the way it was before I went into my withdrawal mode [whoa. that sounds really superficial in a way] but I'm pretty sure he's lost interest in me now.

So, we were like "hi in the hallway" friends for a while. Then I did the stupidest thing and put a "love" note in his locker. It pretty much said that I really liked him. Haha. Yeah, I still regret that because apparently a girl that I pretty much dislike [And yes, she's in Cindy/Bob's grade] saw me putting it into his locker & took the pleasure of telling people. Nice of her, huh? *hint the sarcasm* Well, I usually just wander around school during lunch and I stopped by the table to talk to another guy named...Fred? Sure. Fred. Well, I was talking to him and the girl that I dislike was saying "Look, there's (my name) You wouldn't want to ignore her." And yeah. That's pretty much how I found out that he knew the note writer was me. And I of course denied it. And I ended up crying because the girl and another girl was pretty much really being b.tches about it to me. And so I was semi-crying and walking to my class with my best friend and she accidentally said "well, I'm sure that Bob hasn't gone around telling it to people and he's a really nice guy" right when he walked by. I know. Great timing.

So for like a week or two after that little incident, I pretty much avoided him...a whole lot. Embarrassment? I don't know. I distracted myself with the 5 day old poster on the wall and didn't go by the lunch table at all and went around the school in the morning so I wouldn't have to sit with Bob in the morning at the same table. Hmm, sounds like I'm writing a story. Haha. Anywhos. After that I pretty much hated myself for writing the note then avoiding him so I just sat at the table in the mornings before school started. And Bob definitely paid more attention towards me but I believe it was out of ... hmm, like that thing where someone crushes on you and you think it's cute and you don't wanna make the person feel bad so you're just being friendlier? That type of thing. So I pretty much pretended as if I didn't really care about him at all and kind of pushed him away. I don't know what's wrong with me but I did. So, that's pretty much how the school year ended.

So, now it's summer and I pretty much miss talking to him. I finally started to use the myspace my friend made for me and I added him and commented him and he commented back. He's in governor school now so he can't get on the computer much. He'll be back next week though. Anywhos. Off topic. Right now, I know that we're pretty much the opposite of each other. He's the laid back philosopher type of guy and I'm the mosh pit rocker that's not very outspoken or open to many people. If that makes sense. Well, I left him a comment on myspace saying something about me having pierced my ear and something about wanting to get a corset [Yeah, I swear I'm gonna be a piercing addict when I turn 18 & I'm interested in tattoos and piercings and hair. Haha. Btw, you have very sexy hair.] And he commented back saying that he only wanted to pierce his ears once and gauge them maybe down to 10G or so. and that he'd love to see me in a corset. & I commented back saying some things about gauging and saying that I'd buy a corset if someone helped me find a tightlacing one and something about my bff and me randomly going to his house at 7 30AMish. Yeah, anywhos. I just gave you like a synopsis of our brief commenting thinger. Anywhos.

I don't know. I want Bob and me to be like the way we were at the beginning of the year, which sounds incredibly stupid and selfish. Ahh! I don't know. I wanna get his attention again and have him like me. Again, sounds very stupid and selfish and demanding. I'm not trying to be. I say that in the least stupid selfish and demanding way possible =/ I don't know. What can I do? What should I do?

Erm, just so that I don't have to make you think of another plan....

I am pretty much grounded during summer after my mom found out that I pierced my lip at my bff's house without my parents knowledge. I'm banned from my bff but I still sneak out to see her and stay in touch through the lovely email and AIM. I can't do anything with guys b/c my mom will think we're going out or something, which pretty much sucks seeing that 80% of my friens are guys. Erm, Brandon is the only guy my mom "trusts" for me to go to the mall with or over at my house. But I probably can't go to the mall anymore since she thinks I'm going to buy stuff to pierce myself with again, which I don't need to do because I have the stuff to do so at home already. Erm, yeah. My mom also thinks that if I hang out with only a guy, I'm going to get pregnant, raped, killd, drugged, drunk, kidnapped and what not.

Soo, if you have any suggestions. I'm clueless and I'm in dying need of ideas & ahh. Just any advice would help. aAnd I'll give you virtual double choco chunk cookies =)

This is pretty hard. I can tell you like Bob- but its complicated. You obviously want him to like you. Its not selfish.. its normal.

I think you should try to talk to Bob. I think you should just be honest with him and tell him that you like him [maybe tell him you wrote the note in his locker] and how you're feeling.
I don't see that you have any other options other than to talk to him directly. I think if you are honest with him- he can be honest with you- and you can hopefully go back to your previous status at the beginning of last year. Then maybe you'll be able to get to that relationship you want..?

I don't know- that's all I really can think to do.

And thanks for the "sexy hair" comment, and yes, Harry Potter is quite the trend.

i just turned 17 a few days ago. i got a ticket for going 75 in a 55, and me and my parents have to go to court. could i loose my licence? i live in rhode island and this is my first ticket, if that helps.

I don't think you will lose your license. If Rhode Island is anything like Michigan [where I originate]- then you will merely get points on your license. I don't believe I've ever heard of anyone getting their license confiscated by the court for a speeding ticket- especially if its your first ticket ever. However- if Rhode Island is like Michigan- then your parents have the right to revoke your license until your 18th birthday. If they are strict- there is the possibility that they could do that.

Just try to follow the speed limit! =]

Asking your parents if your license will be revoked would be a good idea.. I'm sure they know your state's laws.

Unfortunately- I did what the person said below [which is normally helpful.. don't get me wrong] and the first one [and the other 7 that came up] were all tribute bands. They don't have the actual ACDC band's music up... at least not under that search.
I think the first tribute band was probably the best- although I agree with you- nothing compares to the real thing.

hi, well my freind has been having family problems, and today he told me that he prayed a lot to god, to sort it out and what not, and when he got home, he told me that they were sorting it out, and it was getting better. is this the work of "the allmighty" or just a quencidence, because im not fully persuaded? what do you guys think? thanks

It really depends on your own religious views. I myself would see that as God helping his family out because he prayed. But you see, I'm catholic- and I would consider myself very religious.

If you aren't a religious person- you would probably see this as just a coincidence.

Ok well my dog Adrian died and its really hard for me and i keep thinking about her....And i WONT ever forget her though....And i like loved her and i still do and shes buried in the backyard so i can see her...And it just makes it harder....Please Help...

First off- I'm really sorry for your loss. Its hard when you lose a family member- and its the same with pets. Its HARD to get over.. and you never will fully "get over" Adrian's death.
Just think about the good times you guys had together; the fun times! If you have good memories of your dog- you might not feel as sad about her. Sure- you'll be thinking about her- but it will be happy thoughts. Happy thoughts are good!

Don't be ashamed to cry. There is NOTHING wrong with being upset. In fact- its very healthy to relieve your feelings occasionally. If you want to cry about her- go right ahead! Don't EVER feel like you have to hide your feelings.

Maybe ask your family for support.

Gather some flowers each week- and take them out to her grave. Sit awhile- and think about her. Cry. It's ALRIGHT!

we both have verizon and unlimited texting
if i text her will my parents know when they get the bill that im texting someone out of state

Nope. It won't matter if its out of state, out of country, or even out of this world [joke.. haha]. They won't know- nor will they care/notice the number or your texts unless they don't have Verizon. If they are out-of-network- they cost money if your plan doesn't include X amount of out-of-network texts.
As long as you don't go over- you're fine.. and there isn't a way to find out where they live unless they examined the number and area code. It doesn't show up on the bill.

someone else has asked a question about dan radcliffe being naked in one of the movies and of course that is not true but he is nude for this play equus. if i search for it will it come up with completely nude pics of him? i want to avoid this if possible. i just want to see the OTHER pics of the play?

I answered that question. I don't believe anyone said that they were nude pictures from the movies.. but from the play Equus.

I did hear Laura [lauraxomichelle] say .. or someone else... that searching for the play pictures will probably bring up those pictures. I think its inevitable.

Maybe try narrowing your search to something that doesn't include his name in it.

I went to King's Island in Ohio the first year the Son of Beast opened. I remember they made such a big deal outta it because its a wooden rollar coaster and it had a loop (the loop was made out of steel). Well I went back to King's Island a few weekends ago and went on the Son of Beast and the loop was gone. I look at the park's website to see if they had anything about why they removed the loop, but they had nothing. Does anyone know why they took it away, or if there was even ever a loop.

I personally love the Son of Beast.. it was one of my favorite rides before they got rid of the loop! They took out the loop last summer when 12 people or something got injured on the same ride.. something went wrong.. I don't remember exactly.. but it had something to do with the loop. They had no choice but to take it out. It is very sad, I know..

It is more than it appears.. like there is a wider variety of parts or sections, if you will. So if something is more than the sum of its parts, the parts that add up to make a whole, well then you naturally have more than the whole. So if you have more than the whole- you have more than there really is..
So life has more to offer than what may appear, I guess...
