advice

did anyone ever use a store-bought pattern and made a shirt/dress from it? are they easy to follow?

Yes. I took a fashion class this year and used like 4 or 5. At first, it was actually kind of difficult. But then by the end of the year, I breezed right through it. Start out with something easy, I'd recommend either a simple purse or a stuffed animal (sounds complicated, wasn't at all. Know from expirience) then move onto shirts and what not.

ok i love the new Samsung phone for Cingular.. sadly i have T-mobile. if i were to buy a phone off ebay would it be compatible with T-mobile? because i CANT switch companies. ive heard of unlocked phones but what are those? if i have to buy that kind how do i know if its unlocked?

Go on google and type in 'unlocked phones'.
There are tons of websites you can buy them from.
They are phones, like said below, that work on any Network. All you have to do is switch the Sim Card. To know it's unlocked, it should just say in the description 'unlocked'.
They do work, too, because my friend's mom got one recently and she loves it =]

13/f.Hey i need some makeup advice. I hav bright blue eyes and i dont know what color eyeliner/eyeshadow i shood wear. Also my nose is just a little big so how do i make it look smaller. My lips are a good size. Mainly I want my nose to look smaller then I will be good. Please help. THANKS!

Use brownish-black eyelinger. And like said below, light eyeshadows. Not neccessarily pink, but maybe a light green or yellow. Also try neutral shades. Such as beige, light brown, light olive green. Try using clear lipgloss maybe a very light shade of pink.

okay sorry in advance for this being so long..
but i really need help with something.
i'm a 13 year old girl and i feel very..worthless right now.i've never had a boyfriend..never kissed anyone.or anything.
the most i've done was hug one.one.
i'm in love with this boy that doesn't really know what i'm like..but he doesn't like me much because as far as he knows,i hate him.and i strongly believe he hates me too.
although maybe he doesn't,i'm not sure.
i keep getting these signs that we're going to date soon.
i keep taking quizes and such that say "his name will start with an a" or "you'll have a boyfriend soon" or something stupid like that you know?
and my friend keeps telling me that it'll happen too.
but me,being unexpeirienced,am kind of nervous about the whole situation.
but i can really really see myself with him and i really want to be with him.
i just realized today how much i like him..
can someone please help me cope with this?

Aww don't put yourself down. You're going to be fine. These things take time, and your time just hasn't come yet. You've got your entire life ahead of you still. Plenty of time for guys. Right now just focus on friends and having fun. And if a guy just so happens to comes along, then go for it.
As for this guy, I'd let him know you don't hate him. That's a start. Then talk to him more, and let it progress. Just see where it takes you =]

im going to get my hair cut soon and i know what i want.

Ever since summer started- I've been sleeping in until at least noon everyday and going to bed at like 1am. I'm really sick of doing this. I always feel like I'm wasting my day when I do this. Its really annoying and I would just like to know if you had any ideas on how to get up earlier and how to possibly make myself go to bed earlier.

Well, what I would do it gradually start going to sleep earlier and earlier. Rather than 1 o clock, tonight go to bed at 12:30. Then tommorow try 12:00, then the next day 11:30 and so forth until you go to bed at the time you're aiming for. Gradually increase because your body needs to adjust to the time changes.
Then, start waking up earlier. You really only need 8-9 hours of sleep a night, but some people (like myself) prefer more. This is fine unless you're getting around 13-14-15ish hours, which can cause your body to get really tired then really hyper and go all out of whack. Trust me, it's not fun.
Fall into a routine once you've started going to bed at your ideal time. Every night go to bed at the same time, and wake up at the same time. Your body should get used to it. Then hopefully, you won't feel like you're wasting your days.

And now this summer things are going back to the way they were.

Guys like this suck. lol. I went through this same situation, so I know how you feel.
Just see how Zach is tonight. See if he tries to make a move on you. See if he tries to put his arm around you or anything, that's what happened when I was gonig through this. If he does, itprobably means he's interested. If not, ask him about it. After tonight of course, because you don't want to make things awkward. Just ask him, what's gonig on. Ask him how he feels about you. Tell him you need to know because you've got to decide whether to move on, or get back together with him. Tell him to choose you or the other girl, because you won't wait forever.

Three years ago i moved and changed school when i was at the other school i realy like some girl but i was to shy to tell her, so now i live about 40 minutes away from her and i had not seen her, i found her on myspace and i told her i liked her she also told me she like me, so what i want to know is how often do long distant relationships work? saying ill only see her about mayby once a month

Well it depends. Long distance relationships require huge amounts trust & love.
Have you gotten to the point in this relationship where you can trust one another with anything? Would you trust each other to not cheat or anything? Do you trust each other enough to believe that you're each staying faithful? If so, great sign. You're getting somewhere.
Have you gotten to a point in your relationship where you don't want to be with anyone else but each other? If so, another great sign.
If you both feel this way, then maybe you can try it. But don't make it anything serious. Just be very casual. Maybe not even a total dating staus yet. You can say that you're just friends, but don't date anybody else, because you're becoming more.
If you haven't reached these points, maybe you should think about just staying friends for now.
I was just reading a friend's column, and he said "Love Takes Risks".
Are you willing to take the risk of her or you cheating? Are you willing to take the risk of having a relationship not work out?
Talk to her about it, and see what conclusion you both come to.

what do girls like to see guys do. This may seem stupid, but im wondering what girls like to see and what gets them going. Also what qualities do girls like in guys.

Personally, I love a guy who makes me laugh. Any guy who makes me laugh, and compliments me is a winner in my book. But not only that, I also like guys who are smart. They kind of go together for me. Like if you're dumb, it shows when you try to make me laugh. Does that make sense?
Anyways, guys who isn't ashamed (spelling?) of me. I can't think of a better way to word it. But a guy, who holds my hand when we go out. A guy who lets me rest my head on his shoulder. And my last boyfriend used to tickle me (even though I hate it). But it was ok when he did it.
I like to see guys act the same around their friends and my friends. I also like to see a guy (obviously) not hitting on other girls if we're together or he told me he's interested.
Seeing guys read or write is cute to. Artisitc things in general, I guess, will attract girls.
One thing that's an automatic NO for me, is a guy whose really self centered. A guy whose like, "Me, me, me, me" I hate that.
