If you are like 13 or 14, isn't it kind of hard to actually fall in love? It kind of gets me annoyed when my friends say like "i would die without ____" or something like that. Very rarely do people get married to the person they went out with when they were that age. Do you think guys at this age just go out with girls for sex and things like that? Or are there some guys who will wait till your older and feel ready and really love you?

Hello. Sorry this is many hours after this question was posted- and everything has already been said; My mom took the computer away for a couple of hours =D.

I have to say that I agree with your first few sentences. People our age claim to love their boyfriend/girlfriend- but I don't think it could possibly be love at this point.

You're right in assuming that some, NOT ALL, guys do just go out with girls for the sexual reasons. Truth be told- some guys are actually genuine and will wait until they are older/married and feel that they actually love them before they just claim to love them 2 weeks into a relationship after they have sex.

Personally- I like to think of myself as the latter type of guy. When I am looking for a girlfriend- I don't automatically think, "Alright- how am I going to get into her pants?". First of all that's just rude and disgusting, and second- I'm really not a teenager with raging [sex] hormones [as I do lose my temper sometimes =X]. I think its a matter of the following, and it is different for each guy:

-Their body's chemistry. Do they have raging hormones? Well- if they do- then the only thing they'll think about is sex [sometimes- not always!]. If they don't- well then they are like me- they can control impulses, etc.

-Their morality. Are they saving themselves for marriage? If they really don't care about losing their virginity- then what is there to lose by giving it up? Nothing- they don't have morals that people like me have. I personally want to be pure and save myself for my wife when I'm older- and I probably won't marry someone who hasn't saved themselves- because I think it would be best to lose our virginities to each other. I think religion has a big part to do with this. I'm Catholic- and my religion doesn't support pre-marital sex. Even if it wasn't against my religion- I still would feel the need to save myself for my wife. I don't know- It might just be where our priorities lie.


So if you're feeling like you want a guy that DOESN'T want to get in your pants- then trust me- there are plenty of them out there- they're just hard to find =D.

What would you do with it?

There's this girl who I absolutely hate (with good reason.. a lot of people hate her but don't tell it to her face) and she basically has made her friendships through myspace. It's like her life or something, but I'm so sick of it because she's really fake. Well anyway the point is, I have her password so what are some things I could do to ruin her life? Do you think I should delete it? She has no idea I have it, but still.

Remember I'm trying to ruin her life.. So things like deleting her myspace would probably make her actually HAVE a life. Which I don't want. I want everyone to realize the real her and hate her as much as I do, but I don't know if I can do anything like that on myspace.

(& normally I wouldn't do anything to someone I hate but, if i have the oppotunity like this, i will take it) So.. :]? *will rate 5's

what is beer pong?

Beer pong is a college "sport" where there are cups of beer on each side of the ping pong table and if you get a ping pong ball in one of your cups- you have to drink it. I think the first one to puke or give up losses and the other person wins. Its ridiculous. There are variations as this link says:

hey

this september, i'm going to be going into high school. i have a few questions. - you don't have to answer all of them; even if you can answer one, i'd be greatly appreciative.

1.) what's the FASTEST way to learn the map of my school? - besides getting a map & memorizing it

2.) how do i not become nervous the first few weeks when i'm getting accustomed? [like when i get lost, etc.]

3.) any tips on how to survive at least freshman year?

Hey. At least this is a variation of the typical high school questions.


1.) The fastest way to learn the map of the school is to actually go to the school- like at Freshmen Orientation [if your school has it] and just walk around and go in every hallway. Trust me- seeing it visually in front of you rather than having a piece of paper in front of you. Walk from your first class, to your second, to your third, etc. Then- go through it backwards- then forwards- then backwards, etc. until you know it "like the back of [your] hand".

2.) Trust me- if you don't carry a map around the first day- you won't be tagged as a freshman right away. Its usually apparent to the rest of us whether you are or not. =D Just relax and get to your classes the first few days. Once you get into the groove of it- you will be nothing but fine. You'll learn quickly what hallways/stairways to take to get to certain classes. If you freak out and get all nervous it won't help you at all.

3.)Well- first off- stay away from upperclassmen.

I was a freshman last year- and I have to say.. it was one of the most scary things I've EVER experienced! I was thrown in the trash can on the first day and it was horrible. Some kid even had to go to the emergency room! It was the WORST first day of school of my entire life! I almost didn't go back!

Haha- so hopefully you didn't take that seriously- because it really wasn't like that at all. I always play that trick on people who ask this question. C'mon- I gotta have a little fun! High school is NOT scary. It actually is a lot more fun. You have more freedoms than middle school and you can take REALLY awesome classes. If you have to chance to take a Speech class- DO IT! You think it will be the dumbest class ever and you'll be really bored- but you get the chance to get really good at speeches- and you'll learn really awesome things! When you get to be a Junior/Senior- take AP and Honors classes- these will impress colleges and they will want you to go to their college if you do well enough on them.

People may tell you that Freshmen year doesn't count for anything- so slacking off won't matter until you're an upperclassmen. This is wrong. Colleges will look at your cumulative GPA- and that includes your freshmen year. Don't slack off; you'll regret it later.

Just to debunk the rumor- There is NOT a "Freshmen Friday". Sure, this used to exist back in the 60s and 70s, but it doesn't anymore. Any school that actually still does it will probably end up getting sued by a bunch of parents. So most don't do it. Chances are, your high school won't do it.

Here is my list of DOs and DON'Ts:

Do:
-Do all of your homework.
-Make new friends [some old ones will naturally just fade away] and do this by just starting up simple conversations with people- and it will eventually lead to a great friendship. Ask someone you may want to get to know for a pencil in class.. that's a classic. Sit with new people at lunch.
-Ask the teacher for help if you need it.

Don't:
-Don't talk to seniors.. they most likely DON'T like you. The won't give you any respect.
-Don't wear revealing clothing- seniors will automatically hate you.

All in all- if you just be yourself- you'll be fine. If you have upperclassmen in any classes- you'll get to know them over the course of the year- and you may end up meeting some really great people. I know that some of my best friends I met at school last year- and most of them were 10th grade or older. Not all seniors hate you- some will be welcoming- but just assume the worst in them, at first. After awhile- you'll know who to avoid and who to warm up to. You'll be fine. Don't worry.

I met a guy at drivers Ed and we've been hanging out for over a month. We both really like eachother a lot and recently he has told me he loves me. We both are christians and have been talking with god, and he told me that I'm the one. I'm not sure if it's true, but I do love him. I do have fealings and emotions for him and know I love him, but I'm not sure if he's the one. How do you know who's the one? Hope I'm not asking a hard question for you or a too personal question. It all depends on the guy- but usually the type of guy that is shallow enough to just go and hook up with someone randomly will want to have some attraction. If they aren't very attractive- then they probably won't go for her. But if the guy is just really looking for a hook up [and fast]- he might not pay attention to the appearance of a girl. He might just be looking for sex and won't care who its with.

I guess it depends on the guy in question.

i lost my friends vidoe ipod and now i hve to give her mine. but i need to erase all my music becuase we dont listen to the same. so how do i erase my music please help me i have to give it to her today thanks

I believe you go to the left-top menu and click on "Edit" and do "Select All" then I think you can hit "Delete" [under 'Edit'] and it should delete all the music from the iTunes. Then hook up the iPod- and it should do the same.

Otherwise- when she hooks up your iPod to her iTunes- it will ask her if she wants to sync the iPod to the iTunes- and if she hits yes- it should transfer her music onto the iPod- without having to delete the old music.

i'm still using the regular duracell ultra batteries that came with it. well, they are almost dead. so i'm wondering if i hook it up to my computer if it will charge? you know, like ipods and phones.

Well- do you want a relationship with them?

Ask yourself this.






Alright- now if the answer is yes- then you should probably tell your friend, whether you think they'll like you back- or you just want them to know. I think they deserve to know. Who knows- maybe they like you too- and they are too afraid to tell you- in fear of what you may think. Its always best to be confident =D.

If the answer is no- you could tell them, but really- there's not much you can do.

School is starting august 22nd but i ahte social studie,scince,history, so i dont pay any attention so i get d's what are some ways to get me to pay attetion?

If you have friends in the class- don't sit near them. Let them know you need to pay attention.

Take notes. Taking notes will ensure that you pay attention- because if you miss something- you won't write it down- and then you'll learn that if you stop paying attention for a bit- you'll miss information. Does that make sense?

If its a morning class- ask your teacher if you can bring coffee into the class to help you stay awake- or pop- something with caffeine in it so you don't fall asleep or something. Also- make sure to eat breakfast everyday. Its unhealthy not to- and doing so will actually help you be more attentive.

how do you hide your wall so that no one can see what other people write on it?

Hello.

Facebook- unlike MySpace doesn't allow you to hide things often.

If you go to "Profile" next to "Edit" at the top of the Home Page- then you get to see your profile. Notice how in some boxes- they have an X in the top-right corner? Well I believe that hides that box or it gets rid of it.

You can't do that with your Wall- or else people really wouldn't be able to post on your wall.

If something is that embarrassing- just delete that post.

Here is what I think. I'm going to be completely honest here:


I think that kids are sneaky. They can do pretty much anything they want when they want to. They are just naturally sly and good at hiding things from their parents.

Once a kid does something bad- and their parents don't find out- they know they can do it again without their parents finding out. Then- after awhile- they get so good at hiding things- they become monsters and keep doing it- like its a daily chore.


I am not like this- and I never will be. My parents' trust means more to me than any of that crap.

What I said is just what I think- it may not be correct.

My best friend, Melissa likes another friend I've had since 2nd grade. Let's call him Steve. So one day they were texting until 3am, and he said he liked a new girl. He wouldn't tell her who, but he said she was perfect. A few days later, I found out it was me. The thing is, I am kind of starting to like Steve now, but I don't want him to ruin my frienship between me and Melissa. I know I would NEVER go out with him if he asked because that's so mean to my friend, but things are so awkward. What do I do?

First- let me ask this:

Would you like Steve had you found out it wasn't you he liked?

If the answer to that is no- then what you're feeling is flattery. Its the classic "he likes me- I think I like him because he likes me" deal. Its not fair to him, should that be the case.

If the answer is yes- then what you're feeling is genuine. To like someone regardless of how they feel about you is true. That way- you know you're not liking them just because they like you.


Now-

If you want to go out with Steve- go right ahead. Don't let your friend Melissa stop you from something great. If it makes her jealous enough to where she doesn't want to be your friend anymore- she has problems. Friends need to make sacrifices for each other. If she can't make the sacrifice- she isn't a true friend. And I don't think it would be "mean" to her if you went out with him- you can't help if he likes you and not her, right?

Maybe talk to your friend Melissa and tell her that if Steve asks you out- you plan on saying yes. Ask her how she feels about it. She might automatically say "I'm fine with it!" but tell her that she can tell you the truth- no matter what it is. Friends should be able to trust each other.

Good luck- but if your friendship with Melissa means more- then that's fine =D. I just thought I would give you my opinion on it.

I like this kid and he likes me, but I when we told each other and all, I really don't like him at all. I mean I think I don't? I don't know I'm soooo confused its not even funny. I mean he alwaysssss at any given time, puts his hand around me, and is always trying to sit close to me like an inch against my face, I cant stand it I feel like I'm getting closterphobic?(sp?) I get nasious(sp?) and I'm seriously going to puke, I love him as a friend but its tooo much. I don't wanna like tell him though, but its eating me.

Alright- let's say you DON'T tell him; he'll probably keep doing this stuff that makes you extremely uncomfortable. Unless he has extrasensory capabilities- he won't be able to read your mind and tell that you don't like what he does. Maybe he doesn't realize its uncomfortable to you, nor would it be to anyone. Everyone has different views a perspectives of certain things. Maybe he's seeing what he's doing as flirty fun. He has no idea how you're feeling unless you tell him.

So the only way to make him stop is to tell him. Honestly- what else can you do?


Nothing- that's what. He can't read minds, like I said- and its probably better that you tell him sooner than later =D.
