- lighter.
- school stuff [when i'm there].
- my camera.

My boyfriend just left on September 26 for basic training for the Army. I really didn't get to talk to him about it much, so I don't really know, and he doesn't have my address or new cell phone number so there's no way I can get in touch with him.. But is there anyway to know around what time he should graduate basic? I really want to know because I want to surprise him and fly out to see him. I would ask his mom but I've been pretty busy lately and haven't gotten a chance to go see her. Thanks! :)

Basic training for any type of military takes about 3 months to complete. He might come home for a little while; I'm not really sure, but if he doesn't come home, then he goes to straight to the camp where they base him.


You don't get to be in contact with your boyfriend by phone while he's in training. They absolutely do not allow it. He can call when he gets to the place he goes to BEFORE training, but once he gets to where they're training him, phone use is prohibited.


If he called his mom before he got to training, call her. See if she has the address where he'll be staying while he's in training so that way you can write him. He'll be able to write back but don't expect letters often because it takes a while to get back & forth depending how far he is, and he'll just be really busy in general. So your best bet would be to call his mom. Good luck!

I disagree with most people. I agreed until earlier today when there was a rally outside planned parenthood.


While I do believe the woman has a choice & the baby doesn't [because it obviously doesn't think about living yet?] that whether you're raped or not you should still keep it. Abortion can bring such horrible emotional problems. You'll be linked with guilt & you'll always think about it. Who wants to think about the fact that they murdered a being that could be so amazing?


I mean, yeah it could ruin your life; but honestly? Think of the life that baby will have. That baby could do something really special & you're taking that away once you kill it. Getting pregnant at 16 isn't as big a deal as people say. My cousin did it & my cousin turned out just fine. She even kept it, and her son has turned about to be the most amazing little boy I've ever seen. But honestly, that baby could do so much.


Once you have the baby, you don't have to keep it. You can give it up for adoption, but let's not forget that no one will love you like a baby can, and you'll become attached in those 9 months & giving it to another family could be hard. However, if you know you cannot provide that child a good life, then give it to someone who can. There are plenty of people who want children [because they can't have their own] & plenty of people who will give that baby a good life even though you can't.


I'm not advising you to keep it, but babies are precious gifts to each human, and killing it would be horrible. =[

ever since missy elliot made that song "we run this" a few years ago, at every school dance i'd request the song.. by the way now i am in 8th grade and i've requested it in 6th and 7th grade dances. and i just went to a dance yesterday and they STILL NEVER play the song! instead they play the dumber version "Jump on it" by some rapper guy in the 80s or 90s. i am so mad.. why wont they ever play We Run This, but they can play other songs like Crank That, and lots of other rap/hiphop songs? grr.

Well there is this guy.

You really need to talk to him about this. He probably doesn't know how you felt so he assumes everything's the same. It's great nothing has changed cause it doesn't make the friendship awkward, but now you're left confused. Fix that.
