we run this!
ever since missy elliot made that song "we run this" a few years ago, at every school dance i'd request the song.. by the way now i am in 8th grade and i've requested it in 6th and 7th grade dances. and i just went to a dance yesterday and they STILL NEVER play the song! instead they play the dumber version "Jump on it" by some rapper guy in the 80s or 90s. i am so mad.. why wont they ever play We Run This, but they can play other songs like Crank That, and lots of other rap/hiphop songs? grr.

We used "We Run This" by missy elliot for our hip-hop team, and if you listen to the lyrics they're not very "school appropriate" so that may be why, because you can't edit music on the spot, also the song doesn't sound right when its all edited, so that could be a possibility. Otherwise, they may just not have the song =/

They might not even have the version you're asking for. Maybe the DJ forgot; there's a whole bunch of possibilities.
