I feel really moronic asking this because it's stupid and one of those annoying Valentine's Day questions, but it would be really nice if someone could try to help. I'm 13 in the 7th grade and I've really liked this guy named Will for a long time. He's not quite a best friend, but a friend nevertheless. I was wondering whether on Valentine's Day it would be stodgy to send him a carnation (the school is selling carnations on Valentine's Day to donate money to child prostitutes in India) anonymously? I don't think he would laugh because he's a pretty romantic and sensitive guy himself. What do you think?

What I've heard from all of my friends that are guys, is that they like it better when you just tell them that you like them up front, that way there's no confusion and I'm positive he'd admire you for having the courage to tell him.

How do i get my thighs smaller? they are too muscular and i want them to be thinner.

Running doesn't make your thighs big and muscular, it's the bicycling that really does all that. So I would think it would be safe to continue running, just lay off the biking for a while. :-)
Ok, well our school is doing this trip to Europe for next summer, and I REALLY want to go, but my mom says I can't unless I raise the money myself. I don't know how I'm going to get the money, cause it's a really expensive trip, but I really want to go. Anyone got any ideas on how I can raise the money? And I'm too young to get a job anywhere... I have a tiger barb, a teara, a rossy barb and another fish.
( i dont know the name of it.) They seem to be getting along great!
like they are all best friends! they are chssing eachother around the tank like buddys. and I looked up on websites that tiger barbs nip.

Tiger Barbs are notorious for biting and being highly aggressive towards other fish. Look closely at your fish to check if there are bite marks in their fins or bodies. If there are none, you're tiger barb may just be a bully and chase the other fish around without actually hurting them (I had a dalmation molly that would do that). If it gets pretty bad, remove the aggressive fish. Hope your aquarium will soon be at peace.

I have two cats that are a little over a year old. a while ago one of cats have started peeing and pooing right outside the litter box. (they are indoor cats).
my question is, can you train a cat to go in the litter box even though they are over a year old? And if you can. How do you train them. I got my cats after they had been trained by another lady.

Cats don't need to be trained to use a litter box. It's in their nature to want to "bury" their "presents" [LOL]. Anyways, your cat is not untrained. There's obviously something that's causing him to do this. I would say that maybe the litter box is too full or he/she doesn't like sharing it with the other cat. In that case I would have a seperate litter box for the cat. Another thing that bothers some cats is that they don't like the scented litter (if that's what you have.) I used to have a cat that hated the scented litter and would then pee/poo in the bathroom! There are many possibilities to why your cat is doing this. I would look into every one of them, because it's not very nice having a cat poo outside the box! Good luck!

Hey, I'm a freshman who wants to sign up for track for my highschool. Although, I'm not in shape and only played soccer for a couple years of my life. What should I do to get in shape? I only want to do running, not field or sprints or anything like that. But I heard you have to pick 4 areas.. what 4 areas would be good for me? thanks, ill rate
I've heard that track is fairly easy to get in to (I guess it depends on your school and all that) but I would just start running/jogging around your school's track after school and just work out in general. Don't beat yourself up over that, just do your best. As for what 4 areas you should pick, I'd say to just pick whatever seems most interesting to you and what you would most likely enjoy.

Try and get yourself noticed. Make flyers and post them on telephone poles and local shops. There are probably a lot more families in need of babysitters than you think. Maybe ask your parents if they know any one and have their friends recommend you to their friends. All I can say is just get yourself out there. Make yourself look confident and caring and I guarantee that you will find yourself a babysitting job! Good luck!

I am getting like pimple looking things on my hairline on my forehead. They look like acne but like its not on my forehead its for like where my hair grows/hairline. Is this zits or is it something else like lice bites or something like it.

It probably is acne. Especially if your hair gets really greasy at times. I would treat it as if it were acne and if there's no improvement I would consult a doctor.

I've always been an animal lover but i feel like i need to do something to help. I was searching on ways to help animals when i came across a video on the web (http://www.petatv.com/tvpopup/Prefs.asp?video=free_me_video) and I want to do something to help. Not just something like donating, i want to stop it all, but it's impossible. All the sites i look at, its just asking for donations, but i feel like it doesnt help that much, i want to put a stop to all of it because its so horrible. And i have so much passion towards animals. I just need someone to help me and tell me what i can do to make a big difference because i feel like i can, and i really really do want to, but how?

I know how you feel. Animal abuse is HORRIBLE (I can't watch those videos, they upset me way too much). Donating actually helps A LOT. When people rescue abused animals there are so many, and as you can imagine, it costs a lot to feed, house them, etc. I know that doesn't seem like your helping them that much, but you are. Become a member of PETA and other anti-animal abuse organizations and support them and stand up for your beliefs against animal cruelty!!

It's natural to be nervous and I think he'll be able to understand that. The nervousness probably won't last long and soon you'll be your normal self again, so don't worry about it! :)
ok so today my freind showed up i school with this gorgeous sweater on... however it was sooooo tight on her... it looked bad on her and she looked liek a slu*. (sry) and so like she wears a cami under it(it was a v-neck) but the v nexk litterally comes around her breasts. and it makes her boobs look huge. she gets medium adn not to be rude but she's fat and I get smalls and im pretty skinny. she always dresses like this and i hear people talking about it. how can i tell her she is dressing inapropriately? she's my BF and i want her to be known as lovely.
I would suggest being honest with her (but NOT brutally honest in a cruel way!). Just tell her that the sweater isn't the most flattering thing she could wear and suggest something that would compliment her body. Be as supportive and helpful and as kind as possible! :)

I am going to be getting a bird (cockatiel). I was wondering if anyone has had this breed or another breed of bird and can lend me some tips! Also I am bilding a bird-perch and I am having some trouble with thinging of home items to use. Like (strings, wood, ect.) Or any other ideas. I have a pet cockatiel that the whole family adores. Anyways, the best thing to do is to get small branches, of different sizes, from outside to put in her cage to climb on because the different widths will help keep his/her feet strong and sometimes they like to chew on it too. :)
I have two cats that have been raised together since they were kittens. One cat is a grey tabby and the other is a black tortise shell cat. The past few days I've noticed that the female cat is in heat. She rubs against everything, thrusts her rear into the air, and howls loudly. My male cat however, seems uninterested. I'd really like them to have babies. Is something wrong with my male cat? Is this normal?
There's probably nothing wrong with the cat, but I really discourage breeding them. There are already too many cats that are homeless, so why bring more into the world? I'm not trying to be mean at all, but if you want a kitten, please check your local animal shelter. There are TONS of kittens that really need homes. :)
