Babysitting
I was just wondering if some of you had some ideas on how I could find a family to baby sit for. I'm not new to my neighborhood or anything it's just that there aren't many people that need baby sitters around here and if they do, they already have one. Thanks!

you should go to a local church and ask the people there that have little ones. You can ask the pastor if you can put a sign in the nursery with your name and number on it. Thats how i started out. i went to my local church (which my dad is the pastor of) and asked them. some people came to me and said "hey what are you doin; on fri. night" or whatever. a church is a good way to get a family to babysit for. I have 2 from my dads church.

Try and get yourself noticed. Make flyers and post them on telephone poles and local shops. There are probably a lot more families in need of babysitters than you think. Maybe ask your parents if they know any one and have their friends recommend you to their friends. All I can say is just get yourself out there. Make yourself look confident and caring and I guarantee that you will find yourself a babysitting job! Good luck!

print out some flyers with your phone number and go to the next neighborhood closest to you. stick one in everyone's mail box. you should get a few answers back. make sure to include a price and if you are certified under red cross or anything important like that.
