alone on new years..
My friend Melissa is having a HUGE party at her house tonight..
but she didn't invite me.
We're friends..but not BEST friends..like on a scale of friendship..(10 as BFFs)..We're like a 5-6...you know?
Do you think I should ask her why she didn't invite me?
*One time, I confronted her about another party that she had..and she denied she ever had one.
I've never been over her house; vice versa..
Her parents like me though..I think..Why wouldn't she invite me? I thought we were friends :(...It's a HUGEEEE party..I'm sad.

maybe your friend dosent think of you as a 5-6 ranking friend or maybe you did something to piss her off but you didnt notice. all of these could be reasons. what i think you should do is confront her tommorow and ask her why she didnt tell you about it. or call her during the party and ask her whats going on i heard you were having a party and make her feel guilty!
p.s. you could just get even with her and start doing more stuff with your other friends and have your own party but dont invite her!

Just go up to her and ask her if she's having a party. Then, if she says no and you find out that there is one, go there and tell her that you're not happy with your friendship and your hurt. good luck!

It seems to me that this friend of yours isn't really your friend. Don't even bother asking her why she didn't invite you. Keep your head high.
But if you're really curious, maybe ask a friend to ask her. It happened to me once; you don't wanna know why that *toot* didn't invite me to the party. Lame excuse.

It all depends. Maybe she doesn't think you guys are that good of friends or she might not like you that much because you confronted her about a different party & she denied she had one. Ask her why she didn't invite you. If she says she didn't have one, than I think you're better off not being friends with her because she lies too much.

Look, ok this girl, Mel i'll call her. She doesn't seem to like you. Or it could be that you are friends with her and she just doesn't think you guys are as good as friends as you think. Anyways the point is, you sound like a better person than her. IF she doesn't invite you to this party and she lies to your face about not having another one, then abviously she has lied about other things. You should consider how she would rate your friendship. Maybe she just doesn't think that you are very good friends.

maybe she is jealous of you are something and doesnt want u to be at her party for that
or
she just doenst really like you and she is just being fake and pretending
or
someone else that is coming to the party doesnt like you

she forgot?? but highly unlikely
yea so ask her why the hell she didnt invite you and if she comes up with some stupid excuse like
"i didnt even have one" then come up with a good come back and just stop being her friend
