I've always been an animal lover but i feel like i need to do something to help. I was searching on ways to help animals when i came across a video on the web ([Link](Mouse over link to see full location)) and I want to do something to help. Not just something like donating, i want to stop it all, but it's impossible. All the sites i look at, its just asking for donations, but i feel like it doesnt help that much, i want to put a stop to all of it because its so horrible. And i have so much passion towards animals. I just need someone to help me and tell me what i can do to make a big difference because i feel like i can, and i really really do want to, but how?
I appreciate anything. Thank you guys so much.

Animal abuse is HORRIBLE (I can't watch those videos, they upset me way too much). Donating actually helps A LOT. When people rescue abused animals there are so many, and as you can imagine, it costs a lot to feed, house them, etc. I know that doesn't seem like your helping them that much, but you are. Become a member of PETA and other anti-animal abuse organizations and support them and stand up for your beliefs against animal cruelty!! [ fish34's advice column | Ask fish34 A Question ]
Petlover4ever answered Sunday December 25 2005, 12:07 am: As a former pet lover myself :) I understand. I want to do the same thing. I have thought of a few ideas to get the point across to people. You could always put notices in your local or city-wide news paper saying "if you dont want your animals or mistreating them stop! And surrender them over to the Resques." Or at a park, hold a "pet day", where people can bring their pets and have a great time and realize how fun and how anyone could ever abuse them (you could aslo have an adoption agencey at the park). One person can do so much and I think if we all help one day animal curelty can be stopped. :)
BoxerxCutie answered Thursday December 22 2005, 9:03 pm: i am a huge animal lover and i understand what your going through. Some ways to help is to volunteer at a shelter or somewhere where animals are. You could also 9if its ok with parents) foster animals so they have a better life and get into a good home. Making donations is very helpful because it could buy medicine or food for the animals. Also bringing in things like toys, blankets, dishes, shampoos, cleaning fluid and other stuff can help the animals have a cleaner facility. I hoped i helped and if i didnt you can IM me at snow cutie x23, hope i helped you

orphans answered Monday December 19 2005, 5:49 am: PETA are a bunch of hippocrites. THEY actually kill most of the animals they rescue. Go here and see the truth:[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
Also, humans are superior to animals in every way, so unless the animals petition us to stop or kill all humans well not a lot will happen. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
naimee answered Monday December 19 2005, 1:40 am: I understand how you feel. I've seen so many videos towards abusing animals & all that stuff. Is absolutely awful. But you see these HUGE organizations [Like PETA] That are trying to stop all animal abuse & making everyone vegetarian. Is it working? Unfortunetly, not.
The best way that you can help towards STOPPING animal cruelty is just be a vegetarian, or maybe check out somethings on Petadotcom? That's the best advice I can give you. Or maybe work at a local animal rescueing place [ naimee's advice column | Ask naimee A Question ]
