Well, my best friend died exactly a year ago as of yesterday. I'm not sure if many of you are familiar with my question I posted last year about her death, but so you can hear the whole story here's the link: http://advicenators.com/qview.php?q=248637
I've had a hard time dealing with her death, mentally and physically and I've been really depressed. I still blame myself for her death every day because I still feel that if I were there it wouldn't have happened.
I really need help coping with it... I've tried to keep myself busy with fencing, my boyfriend, my friends and schoolwork.. But nothing really seems to keep my mind fully off of what happened.
This past week, when her anniversary came up was when I really started to get depressed. I've gone to therapy because of her death and also because of other problems and my therapist keeps telling me that it wasn't my fault and that I couldn't have prevented it from happening. But if you really think about it, I COULD saved her. She kept begging me to go to the party with her but I said no because I wanted to be with my boyfriend. I think that if I wasn't being so selfish in wanting to spend so much time with my boyfriend, then I WOULD have gone to the party. My ex boyfriend WOULDN'T have slipped X in her drink he WOULDN'T have raped her and she WOULDN'T be dead.
I talk to her family almost every day and they always tell me that it's not my fault... But I still feel like it is.
How can I stop feeling like this is my fault? And how can I finally get closure on her death? (link)

I realize you feel like its your fault but its not, you kept on telling her not to drink and not to go to parties. Your ex would have stil slipped ecstasy in her drink, and he probably would have done it to yours too, but you didnt go. Dont blame yourself, ive blamed mi self for mi dads death and its just not something you should do. You have tried everything to stop her from drinking but she just wouldnt listen. there are these kittens under my porch and i don't know what to do...i know to call the spca but,my mom says i can have because there is only 3..but here is the problem they will not come to me..i don't know how to get them to come to me...
can somebody help..i don't want it to snow one day really because i don't want them to get sick.

You need to put milk out for them and check and see if any of them are drinking it, it has to be warm milk tho b.c their still kittens. They really need their mom but since they dont have her jus warm milk. If they are little little kittens dont give any meat or anything b.c they cant digest it. They are just scared and afraid of you. If you can't get them out after doing that ask an adult for help. Or you could call and explain to the spca what has happened and tell them they are strays and that you would like to take them in and ask for advice on how to get them out. Well i hope i helped

All right.....My friend went out with this guy for like 2-3 months and he broke up with her and she was not ready for it and she was heart broken!! Now she still wants to go out with him! And that is all she ever talks about!! She wont stop so what i am basically asking is...What is some advice i can give her to stop talking about the guy!!?? (link)

thats sad, but since he broke up with her then i think she should try to forget about this guy. If hse goes back out with ihm the nshe might just get her heart broken again and it will be a lot worse b.c they iwll have been gone out twice now. He will sooner or later realize what he is missing when he dumped her and he will eventually feel really bad about dumping her and making her feel very badly, well i hope i helped, if not ask me another question

I have two cats that have been raised together since they were kittens. One cat is a grey tabby and the other is a black tortise shell cat. The past few days I've noticed that the female cat is in heat. She rubs against everything, thrusts her rear into the air, and howls loudly. My male cat however, seems uninterested. I'd really like them to have babies. Is something wrong with my male cat? Is this normal? (link)

there is nothing wrong with your cat he might just not be used to your female, and may just not be interested , but i wouldnt worry about it. Is your male cat nuetured because that could be a reason thats how mi cats were but mi male cat was neutered and he didnt pay any attention. Hope i helped, if not ask a question

im 15 years old and in the last two years i have really fixed up from what i used to be. now im a reallycaring and loving person. no matter how much i do for someone, no one seems to care or appreciate me. i know im sounding a bit desperate for attension, but i feel like im unwanted by my own friends. i have friends that i would prepared to do anything for, just to make them happy..but they dont think the same about me.
i try sooo hard with soo many different people..but its as if no one notices me. no one seems to realise. some people mean so much to me but i mean nothing to them. iv almost given up with everything. i have no idea what to do. (link)

Dont give up i know how u feel, im oging thruogh the same things with a few of my friends, i luv them to death and would do anything for them, its just they dont feel the same way. Just try to talk to them about what ur going through and explain to them whats going through your mind, if they dont understand or dont even try to understand then i hate to say this but they arent your true friend! Hello everyone,
I am going to be getting a bird (cockatiel). I was wondering if anyone has had this breed or another breed of bird and can lend me some tips! Also I am bilding a bird-perch and I am having some trouble with thinging of home items to use. Like (strings, wood, ect.) Or any other ideas. I've never had one, but my grandma has one, they really like their perch to hang around on it. they like playing with things like bells and theys glued to ropes, well i hoped i helped

last night i talked the guy i like. he likes me. we have a dance coming up. he asked me to it. so were going. im so excited. we have been best friends for the longest time. he is so funny. last night we talked about how much we want to be together, and how much he likes me. then he told me that he wanted me to be his first. and i didtn say it back but i feel the same way. how can i tell him htat. without sounding weird

Just tell him you feel the same way, i mean he was honest and told you and since he brought it up you should tell him the truth too, if he really feels the way he says he does he wont think its funny or start laughing well i hope i helped

I always blush whenever I'm talking to someone.. even if i'm not embarassed at all. Like I could even just be talking to a friend, or my mom, and I could start blushing for no reason. How do I stop this? (link)

you can't help the fact that you blush its natural, if someone notices and points it out just say "i know" and either laugh or explain that you can't help it, hope i helped

ok im going to make this quesiton in short form cause if i didnt it would go on forever. as i get older i realize friends should be just a lil more for joking around or for sharin inside jokes or saving seats on the bus 4... should a friend be someone that you have a shoulder to cry on when ur depressed or u just broke up.. and theyll help you sincerely? cause when i try this with my so called "best friends, sarah and alyssa" they like are you ok jackie and im like no.. and they are like making awkward faces and like ok. i just want to know if ill ever get a special friend! im still young (link)

A friend should be there for u no matter what is going on in your life, even a best friend, my bestfriends, "manda and katie" are always there even its about sumthin stupid. If your friends arent there for you through anything, there must be reason why, so just ask them if they're ok or if they want to talk, well i hope i helped

Alright so I know people ask this a lot but hey help me out too. So there's this guy who we can call Joe and we were both at a party last night. Well I got really tired so I decided to go lie on the couch and he was there so I used his arm for a pillow. Well, I gradually got more comfortable and so did he and he had his hand on my stomach and he was playing with my arm all cute and stuff and we were holding hands (with the one that was on my stomach) and everytime hed get up hed come back and get in the same position again. We're friends and that's just not how our friendship is like if I give him a hug in the hall hes like "Oh hey Susan." and its just a brief hug. Do you guys think he likes me as more than a friend? I think I like him as more than one so I don't want to get my hopes up.

I can tell you that he has feelings. guys like that who do things to show they like you (rather then go and tell you) are the ones who really like you.plus he asked one of your friends if you like him.he really likes you and your hopes should be up. if he going to ask he must ask for a reason right!?! ask him if he lieks you and you've been haering people talk about it and stuff and def tell him how u feel, hope i helpd xKarax

you can't make somebody like you if u really dont know them, if i were you i would start talking to him more often and get to know him more. Maybe he likes you but if you dont know him then you will never know! I've always been an animal lover but i feel like i need to do something to help. I was searching on ways to help animals when i came across a video on the web (http://www.petatv.com/tvpopup/Prefs.asp?video=free_me_video) and I want to do something to help. Not just something like donating, i want to stop it all, but it's impossible. All the sites i look at, its just asking for donations, but i feel like it doesnt help that much, i want to put a stop to all of it because its so horrible. And i have so much passion towards animals. I just need someone to help me and tell me what i can do to make a big difference because i feel like i can, and i really really do want to, but how?

i am a huge animal lover and i understand what your going through. Some ways to help is to volunteer at a shelter or somewhere where animals are. You could also 9if its ok with parents) foster animals so they have a better life and get into a good home. Making donations is very helpful because it could buy medicine or food for the animals. Also bringing in things like toys, blankets, dishes, shampoos, cleaning fluid and other stuff can help the animals have a cleaner facility. Okay so me and my boyfriend of over 13 months broke up on monday and that night i called up his best friend to ask him if he thought that we were going to go back out (me and my exboyfriend). So I started joking around about me and him doing things with each other... So then he started asking if we would do things without him knowing and i said maybe once just to get him to shut up and he kept pressuring me so i was like no i cant because i love ryan too much.. i told ryan (my ex-boyfriend) about it and he asked his friend and his friend said he was kidding about it the whole time and i was like no he wasnt and then ryan told me that he hated me and he wanted me out of his life.. i want to keep pinning his friend saying everything went wrong but i dont want ot ruin their friendship and i want to get back with ryan so bad... you have to talk about it. you guyz broke up for a reason right? so you guys juss have to be friends for now & talk to ryan & tell him how you feel. maybe you should keep away from ryan's friend when you're trying to fix things up with ryan. Ok i am a huge boxer fan and woud like to get one myself! But with little children in the house it is not such a good idea b.c boxers are very playful and hyper and always want to play and chew i wouldnt reccomend it until the children are a little older hope i helped
