there really arent "emo" stores, its just a style and a way of life, and i dont know if you are male or female, but pacsun and hot topic are fine stores i think, but lately you can go in any store and find stuff that you can wear for the "emo" look. its just what you buy and wear with it that creates the emo style.

when i met my boyfriend, my mom LOVED him! and all of the sudden she like swares that his dad is gay. the other day, he dedicated a song to me and she obviously saw it because she was sitting right next to me... like always! and now she like swears that my boyfriend is gay too.
so, shes all like "give him the cold shoulder because i dont like him for you anymore and u cant like him because i dont think that he's right for you" so then she claims that i like this other guy, jc. and i dont! so, she says that i cant like my boyfriend because i like jc.
so, i need your help to
a) stop getting my mom to watch me every time im on AIM or myspace. I tried talking to her. but it doesnt work. she just says that i have to be watched. and i dont understand that because i am such a "good girl" its incredible. i never get into trouble and im always good
b) stop getting her to try to control me. if i like my boyfriend, then shes gonna hav 2 accept him. and i want to know a way to try to convince her that he is not gay. and i cant just go up to him and i cant just go up to him and tell him "please tell my mom ur not gay" i need a really good way to show her

im not one to beat around the bush...this one is s a little tuff! lol. but ill try my best..(sorry in advance if it isnt very helpful)
i know you said you already tried talking to her, and i dont know what you said,
but i think you need to sit her down, and be more upfront, spilling your heart out to her,
"you know i wouldnt do anything im not supposed too, i never get in trouble, why cant you trust me, this is so stupid, you wont ever be able to watch me when i move out, you should let me be a kid while i still have the time, let me have fun sometimes"
stuff like that maybe, the only thing is you might get in trouble, but i dont know your mom so i dont know if you will or not.
or maybe even take on a few more responsibilities to show you are mature and trust worthy.
ask her why she thinks your boyfriend is gay, because he wrote you a song? this might sound weird but it seems like your mom is jealous of you and your boyfriend.
tell her that you and her are two different people who like different things and what she says doesnt always matter to you.

you dont have to use those words exactly..but thats a good question, heh.
tell her as long as you two are together, that she needs to accept him. she may not have to like him, but treat him nicely. cause i bet if she was in your shoes she would be really mad at her mom to, and want to be trusted and not watched all the time.
you could also start going out more, to a friends or too the mall or school functions or something, if your allowed too. or start staying after school and catch a late bus or a ride home with a friend, just so you dont have to be watched all the time.

go in to a store/restaurant/place of work, get an aplication, and when its filled out go back and ask to speak with the manager shortly.
most fast food places hire at 16, so it shouldnt be a problem with your age.

haha, this happened to me.
if you get a little scared, just kinda jump back and get a little closer to him.
if you get more scared, hook your arm with his (like walk-ins at proms, hooked)
if something really scares you, hide your face in his shoulder.
what happened to me was, i was going through a "haunted maze" and i have never met this one kid before, but he was friends with my friend, and he was really nice to me, so i kinda stook by him, what i listed for you to do, is what i did, and at the end he said "haha, your so cute" and we are friends still, so. i hope this will work for you =]

first, i think if you are going to dis our advice givers, you shouldnt ask for advice in your same post. thats just "idiotic" in a way. (not to seem rude)i know there are a lot of idiots on here, ive seen them, but i mean really...
anyways, to answer your question, since you are only 14, you have a while yet to find a great guy, so i think you should break up with him.
now, if he is in jail, dont you think you shouldnt be with someone like that, so you dont get in trouble too?
break up for the time being anyways, and then see how things are after he gets out.

I dont know where you live or what style you like, but the store DEB has great home coming dresses, theyre supposed to be nice, but not too formal, like prom, theyre cute. also the plus size store Torrid has some really cute dresses too. they are my fav. stores ♥ =]

you can shave down there, it might get a little irritated and itch, but its one of those things where you can shave if you want too, you dont need too unless you want too.

I really want to make more friends, and to get a boyfriend. But first I know I have to be comfortable with myself to be comfortable around others. Thats the problem... I dont know how I can be comfortable with myself. I'm not really proud of myself for anything, and I just...I dont know what to do. Its causing me major social disruptions...loss of confidence...loss of outgoingness...I hardly have any friends...Havent had a bf since 7th grade (10th now)...I just want to turn back into myself. one thing you could do to gain confidence is work out, or even just go for walks to release stress, and start eating healthy. your attiture will most like change for the better...that helped me a lot, and i had the same problem you did. and this has helped me.
in class, with the people around you, just say "hi""how are you" "my name is.." at first, or make a little comments, ask a few questions if you have one, just some small talk..and as the years go on and you learn a little bit more about the people around you, small talk can grow into actual conversations.
when someone looks at you, smile a little, as to look friendly and approachable
also, i think you should join a club or a few..theyre a great way of meeting new people, and if its something you have an interest it, then its easier to talk to people in that club.
go to school activities with friends too, just to get out and see new people, and you can make friends there as well, just by using "hi how are you" and stuff. it doesnt have to be deep conversations at first...just the little conversations that help you to meet people is what can build a good friendship...

its something that comes naturalky, you'll be fine.
and he'll understand that its your first kiss, so dont worry about it. you'll learn everytime you kiss.
