Hey,
1st of all it depends where down there you're shaving. NEVER EVER EVER shave on top of it. Only shave the sides of it.

Good Luck,
Advicegodesses2

P.S.Write back and tell me how my advice was.

Well, hair down there keeps bacteria out, so in a sense it's kind of bad because then you are prone to get like yeast infections and what not. But, it feels better shaved and you feel much cleaner.

if you shave you will inevitably get razor bumps, where the hair folicles get blocked and sometimes cause pimple like bumps. the best way, if you want a smooth result is waxing, however, I am assuming you are quite young, so therefore it's probably too expensive/not appropriate. you can use hair removal cream, but it can be harmful to your genitals if you want to remove more 'intimate' hair than just your 'bikini line'.I have found the best way to keep pubic hair trimmed and neat is with the sideburn attachment on my husbands electric razor, cuts the hair very close, but wont remove it all like shaving. This question isnt weird, it's one that every one thinks about and you have to experiment with different methods till you find one you like-OR-just let it grow-nice guys really don't mind either way!

Well, it's not bad but I suggest trying other things like Nair (hair removal cream). Otherwise, just make sure you've been sitting in some warm water for a while so the hair is not as coarse and use a very new razor with sensitive shaving cream. Try to take it slow so you don't cut yourself.

It's not BAD to shave there, but gynocologists prefer that you don't. The hair is there simply to protect you from getting infections.

You can shave there if you want to, of course. If you don't feel comfortable shaving then you really don't have to. It's up to you, it's not bad but there is really no advantage to it either.

its not bad.
you can shave down there, it might get a little irritated and itch, but its one of those things where you can shave if you want too, you dont need too unless you want too.
