how can i host a good halloween party?! i rate 5's thanks

i guess it depends on your age, but i'm guessing you're like 13-17ish. my friend had a halloween party last year & obviously it was a costume party & then we voted to see who the best was & they got some type of prize. the obvious answer would be to have lots of food. especially if you're inviting guys. by entertaining them is by having a lot of good food. some cool ideas would be finger cookies, that actually look like fingers. you can look up the recipes online if you want. have a whole bunch of games. like for my friends, her uncle was actually hiding out in the yard when it got dark, and he started scaring us & it actually was kind've creepy lol. make sure there's lots of music.

there's different kind've things you can do. maybe you should juss talk to him & tell him that you really love your bf & you don't want to do anything to ruin the relationship you guys have. maybe you should juss tell him exactly how you feel straight out, yeah it could be mean, but you also want to be honest with him. you should have your bf talk to him & he should say that he doesn't appreciate another guy liking you & bothing you & stuff. i guess he could get depressed, but he should realize that you have a bf & you don't like him.

Well my boyfriend and I have been going out for like 4 weeks. And started off as friends and then we became bf and gf. He goes to a different school then i do..I use to go that school but i left like 2 years ago..I am still really good friends with everybody there and sometimes we go to the movies alot..But lately we havent been doing anything...And me and my bf are really close and talk all the time but dont get to see eachother. And we are both 14 soo its like nothing serious...Well here the problem i want to go my school last home football game and i want my bf to go with me. But he doesnt know anyone at the school i go to. soo i dont think he would go. And all my friends want to me him and everything. Well also my bf wants go to a movie on that day but i want to go the football game.. LIke last night i was suppose to do something with him but he had to go to his dad's soo i went to the football game instead..And i really missed him...Then week i think we are doing something but i want to go the game but i want to see him cuz i probally wont for while..So should i tell my bf to go the football game or go the movies with him??

i think since you're going to be at the football game, he shouldn't have a problem in going. explain to him that it doesn't matter where you go, as long as you guys go together. you should tell him that him going to the game would really mean a lot to you & you guys can go to the movies some other time. if he disagrees with it, then go to the movies, because you guys should spend time together if you don't see each other as much. you could also explain that your friends really want to meet him & that he could make friends there so next time it won't be so awkard. what if he brought friends with him? would that help? whatever it is, as long as you guys get to hang out, it'll be fine.

(sorry this is really long)

Yesterday I went to Cedar Point with one of my really good friends for her birthday. She introduced me to one of her guy friends, let's call him Fred. So at Cedar Point there was Me, my good friend named Emily, Fred, TK and two other people. Well..Emily said that Fred told her that he really likes me. There may have been some signs..but I'm not sure like exactly how guys flirt. So..Since it was Halloweekends at Cedar Point we went through lots of haunted houses. a.)Fred always let me hold on to his arm and he held onto mine when we went through them.
b.) As humiliating as it may seem, I tried running from this freaky guy and I tripped and fell (lmao) and people started laughing. Fred told everyone to stop laughing and like stood up for me.

c.) Fred rode on every single ride with me. (Until yesterday I had never gone on a rollercoaster and he kept insisting that I go on every ride with him.)

Are these signs?? Because when people ask if he likes me he doesn't deny it..and Emily said that he wanted to ask me to be his girlfriend. It's not that I don't trust Emily or anything it's just that..y'know..friends mess around with you like that!

i think you should try to build a good friendship with him first, basically because you guys juss met. i mean, some people have great first impressions, but they change. not saying he's not a good guy, but you want to get to know him better. of course you can't decide if you like him er not, & he's probably juss attracted to you a lot. you can't really like someone when you juss met them, other than attraction. you guys could grow to like each other, & that's when you could move into the more bf/gf relationship. if you guys started to hang out more, you'll start to learn more about each other & then you both can decide on how you really feel. talk this over with him.

i really like this guy.. a lot =[ i know im only 13 but i like him so much i really do. haha i have major love handles =) lol yessss i do & it may be difficult to understand now, but when you get older, guys are gonna not like skinnier girls & like girls w/ love handles..trust me on that one. so it's a good thing. who likes a stick figure anyway? exactly! i think you should juss try to develop a friendship w/ him first. maybe your friends & his friends could become friends & that way you guys could hang out more. 2-3 years is a long time to like someone, but juss hang in there if you truly like him. you're only 13, so you still have a lot of time thru hs to find someone else, er get somewhere with him. juss start random convo's with him. if he seems to be a jerk about it then you should really look around for someone else.

I'll be brief. There's this one pretty girl I knew in Junior High; although we weren't offically an item, we were very close friends. During the time we knew each other, we didn't exchange phone numbers, email, or anything like that. To make a long story short, I got in trouble with the law and was kicked out of the seventh grade. After the ugly rehabilitation process, I was missing her ALOT, but eventually I had to get over it, and started high school on a fresh note. Today, I get a call, and it's her. Obviously, I'm stunned she called; she tells me she got my number out of the phone book. She said she missed me and we talked for a looong time about our lives right now. During our chat, she talked about how she thought she was worthless, how her mom was being treated for AIDS, and bascially, things aren't good for her. She also said she liked me then(she even used the word "soulmates"), and although I told her I did too, the words didnt quite come out the way I expected. And thats where my question comes in. I have little to no experience with women, and would like to know ways to assert myself confidently, while not acting like a total jerk. I also want to make her feel less worthless about herself, because I do care for her. On top of that, she has a boyfriend already. How can I do all of this, without her thinking I'm trying to intrude on their relationship? She wants me to call her tomorrow at 7, so answers would greatly be appreciated before then. But don't worry if not, I'm sure I'll eventually talk face to face with her soon. For your information, I'm 15, and male.

wow! i thought you were in your 20's er something. actually, i know a guy that's in your situation right now, & he's not dealing with it very well, so i'm gonna try to give you tips. it's great that she called you, and you seem really happy about that. i think being open & honest with her is the best thing you can do, because you don't want her to get away again. her having a bf is difficult, because yeah, saying those things could be getting in the way of their relationship, but if you word it right, it won't be. you juss have to straight how tell her how you feel, then & now. but i think you should tell her that you aren't trying to intrude on her relationship with her bf, you juss wanted to let her know, because you don't want to regret anything. regret is one of the worst feelings & you don't want to feel that. she'll probably completely understand & since she told you how she felt, then she's expecting you to do the same with her. juss be open & everything will be ok. if she listens, but still wants to be with her bf, you'll still get a great friendship out've it. maybe you guys will get together. you juss need to talk to her first.

hmm you can't really convince yourself not to like him, because you can't help who you like. its totally natural to have a crush on him even if he is your teacher. you'll eventually realize him being too old is a bad thing, and sooner er later you'll stop liking him. trust me on that, a lot of girls have crushes on older guys, some even being their teachers, and you juss grow out've it. it takes time, so maybe you should look around for guys more your age. you know, hang out with some other guys & try not to concentrate on your teacher.

i recently just broke up with my boyfriend.
now, i am a tom-girl. i hang out with ALL boys. and 2 of my best friends have a crush on me. my boyfriend was not okay with this... at all. he told me he broke up with me because he can't handle me hanging out with 2 boys (that like me) all the time. he just doesn't trust me. and he's already moving on. how can i make him see that i love him, and i only want to be with him? words aren't enough... and i just want him back.

i think you should write him a letter. it shows that you took time out've it & that you care about him. if you juss show him in some way, he'll probably go back with you. trust is a huge issue in relationships & i think if you juss wrote down all your feelings, it would explain to him that you really do love him & even though guys do like you, doesn't mean anything. he should know that. it isn't like you like them, so i think he's becoming jealous over it & that's probably why he's moving on. if that doesn't work, then you might juss have to look around a bit. it could also be his self esteem. like he doesn't feel comfortable w/ the fact that you hang out with all guys & plus they like you. juss tell him you'll do anything for him, because you love him & care about him. if you can prove it to him by him giving you another chance, then it'll all work out.

OK I like this guy. Today he came to my locker and memerized my combo. Then later while he thot i wasnt looking broke into it. Then I was all excited thinking he liked me but then he cam up and said he got into my locker to see 'if he could'. So then this girl tells me everyone thinks he likes one of my bff;s. Five seconds after that I find out another bff likes him and is crazy about him. But he is always smiling at me and making me laugh and stands next to me a lot. I only have one class with him so I don't know if he does this to other girls to, but I know he does that to me!
What should I do? And PLEASE no harsh answers b/c I am crazy about this guy and one move and I'm going to be crushed...

you should really talk to him about it, but i guess it's a tough situation since your friend likes him. talk to her about it. you need to let either her er him know how you feel, because if you don't, you could regret it & you don't want to do that. juss be open & honest with both of them, her first though. if he does do that to a lot of girls, then he isn't worth it & is juss a flirt. if you really feel that he likes you, go for it, but remember that girls will probably chase for his attention & your friend might be mad with you & whoever else likes him.

16/m Alright. Today in Gym, we were playing soccer. However, we tend to play tackle soccer. So, I was going for the ball, and ended up falling on my knees. My right knee has severe tendinitis, FYI. Well, I went hard and my knees went to a squatting mode, you know, lower legs on ground, upper legs on feet? I felt a pop, and got up a few seconds later. My friend was there when it happened, and was like "Steven, are you alright? It seemed like you got burned" (AKA, slid on the floor). I said I felt a pop, but I'l lbe fine, and stood up. My other female friend heard that and was like "Stay out a bit, that can be really bad." Well, it was pity attention.
Well, I didn't think it was that bad, as tearing something is hard for a male. However, it felt really unstable that class and ever since. And I'm looking now, and it seems a bit swollen. Yet, there's no additional pain from this, just the tendinitis type.
What is it? What did I do? And what should I do until I can get to the doctor? I'm really scared.

wow i have major knee problems, & i never got em checked out, so it pops all the time. you couldn've actually cracked your kneecap, cus thats what i did & mine bruised up & started swelling. don't be scared about it. they can fix it easily, but i can't really tell what it is since i'm not a doctor er anything. since you do have tendinitis then that's probably why it's a problem, like if you didn't have it, it wouldn't be as bad. but tackle soccer huh! wow! for now, juss ice it. i know, icing it is really annoying, but it'll keep the swelling down so when you go to the doctor, he can give you an xray & it won't be difficult, because swelling gets in the way of the xray. here's a website that might help-
