Have lots of food. Try looking up "Halloween Recipes" on google. Have games and stuff like pin the eyeball on the zombie or something like that and rent a few horror movies. Also, get some cards or something in case some people just feel like chilling. Just put them in plain sight so if someone doesn't feel like watching a movie they can play solitaire or something lol. (My friend had some cards on the bar at her party and me and a few of my friends played BS for like an hour! haha it was fun.) Then have a costume judging contest at the end.

lots of decorations is always good. and music. and a lot of food. like cookies and popcorn ..stuff like that, and a huge dish for candy and those little spider rings are always funny no matter what the age is haha. and you could have costumes that you could judge for the best one.

i guess it depends on your age, but i'm guessing you're like 13-17ish. my friend had a halloween party last year & obviously it was a costume party & then we voted to see who the best was & they got some type of prize. the obvious answer would be to have lots of food. especially if you're inviting guys. by entertaining them is by having a lot of good food. some cool ideas would be finger cookies, that actually look like fingers. you can look up the recipes online if you want. have a whole bunch of games. like for my friends, her uncle was actually hiding out in the yard when it got dark, and he started scaring us & it actually was kind've creepy lol. make sure there's lots of music.
here's a few websites-
