I am twenty-one, soon to be twenty-two, and currently work in a loan servicing department. I truly enjoy my job, as well as college, in which I am reaching my last year to receive my degree. I am an outgoing person whom loves to have fun, be with my best friends and family, go shopping and most importantly, helping others.
Helping others has always been my passionate, from a young age I knew that I wanted to help other people and be a great influence in making someone's life turn for the better. No, they don't mean that at all. See, when you say things such as, "Oh, my God" or "Jesus Christ" in that context. It's saying The Lord's name in vain, so as the person below explained, they would rather you say, "Oh, my gosh."

I am about 5`1 orr 5 feet im really short and i weight 105 pounds is that fat? also im 14 and i wear double zero`s in jeans and extra smallss..its just that like my sister is 26 n she looks big and weighs about the same as me? but i look MUch smaller. (link)

No, you're not fat at all. You're on the small side, really. You can check if you're over weight, underweight or at a healthy weight by checking your BMI. You can do this at www.seventeen.com
In the "Health" category, you will find it. It's easy, you type in your height and weight, and there you have it. :)

Yes, go into "My Privacy" and click on, "News and Mini-Feed." You can check and un-check what you do and do not want to display on your profile. So therefore, you will not have to click the "X" a thousand times. I hate doing this, too!

As they do get a little more than the average Advicenator, they do not have anymore "powers" than the non-paid members. They are treated the same, meaning, you can still get banned, etc.

what do you do if one of your guy friends tells you that he likes you? are you supposed to like ignore him, flirt more, or like act the same? i guess i like him but he is not that hot and he doesn't know that. so what should i do towards him? (link)

What you do depends on how you feel about this guy. In my opinion, if you do not think he's attractive and that bothers you, more than likely, you don't like him in more than a friends manor. Being as when you like someone, it really doesn't matter what they look like. The only thing that would matter is his personality, how he treats you, etc.
However, if you want to be more than friends with him, I would talk to him and let him know how you feel. And even if you only want to be friends, I would talk to him and explain to him how you feel. Honesty is the best thing you can have, when it comes to these kinds of situations.
The only thing I do not recommend is to flirt with him, or tell him that you like him -- if you really do not.

Well, this is depending on the amount of discharge you are experiencing. But on average, every 3-6 hours.
If I might add, I recommend panty liners for discharge. They're more comfortable and used for discharge.

if im on the computer for example, google, aim, advicenators, youtube, itunes, etc etc. every once in awhile my tower makes this sound. im not sure if its the fan but thats where its coming from, that general area. it sounds like a freaking vacuum!! its really loud and annoying. after about 2 minutes it totally stops, but then might start up again a few hours later. it just did it twice in 10 minutes. what is this?? thanks!! Yes, it's the fan inside your tower. All computers do this, and have to do it in order for the computer to run correctly.

No, I wouldn't consider that conceited, however, some may perceive it to be conceited, but I do not believe it's conceited. Of course, only if you are nice. :)

No, unfortunately, it will not. Nothing as far as sports, will stop you're period from coming. However, many of us wish it would. :)

so the problem is that I AM A GIRL and i hate other girls. i can't stand them. i think their so weird and discusting. and i am a girl myself. and i only have guy friends. and i only like guys.
seriously i think guys are the only normal creatures in this world. and it makes me so angry hearing girls talking about girl stuff. it's just SO anoying. and when they scream cause they are so excited over something. it always makes me pissed. and seriously i am obsessed with guys. i dress like a guy , i act like a guy a lot , and i only have guy friends , and i am so crazy about guys haha
and i don't get myself.

I am too, fourteen and a girl. I can't say I've felt how you're feeling now, but I can tell you what I think is going on here. I think you're lack of liking girls, as friends or in general, is because you really do not like yourself. I've seen this in many cases before, not only on tv but in friends, etc.
By the way, I do not think you're weird or not normal, however, I do recommend counseling or a therapist. It could really help you, figure out your feelings, and things like that.

In my opinion, the second verse is better than the first one. Both of them make sense, however, the second one is more well written. So I definitely recommend using the second verse, in your poem.

what can i do to get to her? she definitely doesn't trust me and i feel like she's been keeping things from me. when it comes to other guys, she gets defensive, really defensive. i trust her and tell her everything, but i feel as if she keeps things from me.
it deals with guys. why does she get so defensive when either of us brings up her guy friends? not just any guy friends, the ones that like her. it doesn't seem like she draws the line clear with them. talking to her about it makes her uncomfortable, and makes me look like the bad guy. what should i do? i really don't want to lose her, i just want her to be honest about things (link)

Well, I as girl, know how she probably feels. She probably feels as though, she may have to be defensive when these guys are brought up, because she knows that they like her. And she doesn't want anyone to think that she likes them back, or that they're anything more than friends.
She could also be a little insecure, with the fact that she might not think you trust her. I know, this may sound strange to you, but it's actually quite common in girls to feel this way.
The best advice I can give you, is to talk to her in person and alone. Let her know how you're feeling, in a calm manor. And explain to her how much you really like/love her, and that you want you two to be together. You only want everything said, to be honest and nothing to be kept from each other. I'm sure she'll understand and talk to you about this, and let you know her honest feelings.

i got my first kiss yesterday, but...
i dont know if i really like the poor guy.
the first time he kissed me i got really scared and pulled away, but the second time i didnt, but i was VERY nervous. and then we made out for a while and i didnt enjoy it much, but i'm not sure weather it was the kiss or the guy.
so basicly i am EXTREMELY confused. any feedback/advice/comments will be appreciated.

Well, it could be both the guy and the kiss, or as you mentioned, one or the other. I cannot really tell you the answer to that, being as I'm not you and do not have your feelings. However, in my opinion, I do believe that the problem is the guy. Because if you don't really like a guy, then you're more than likely not going to like the kiss. And when you do really like a guy, the kiss will not matter. You'll want to kiss the guy no matter what it's like, because you'll like him for who he is. This is how it most generally works.
So I recommend talking to him if you're having a certain problem, with him. Or take some time and really get to know this guy, and find out what all of your feelings are for him. Whether they're only friendly feelings or something more, and/or something that could be built in a good relationship.

I'm sorry, but I'm afraid we aren't allowed to delete our answers on Advicenators, anymore. We used to be able to, but as YG said, it was changed because people were only doing this to improve their ratings. However, you can still edit your answer.

Is there anyways to get diffrent layouts then just what Advicenator has. Such as Xanga or myspace backgrounds?

The person below is correct, you have to have a paid account to have your own custom layouts. However, you can also get backgrounds for your column. That's what I did. You can do a google search on backgrounds, and that should work just fine for you. :)
