why is it bad Ok when I'm mad I say OH MY GOD or JESUS CHRIST or when I'm surprised or something and people always say, don't say that! Is it because they hate God or something else?

Christians get upset by statements like that. Those phrases misuse God's name.
You are using God's name as though it means something like "Damn!" or "Shit!" God's name is MUCH more holy than words like that. It is a very big sin to use His name in that context.
Instead of upsetting Christians by saying things like that, use alternatives, like "crap" and "damn". ]
no they don't hate god alot of people take that as useing god's name in vain. ]
noo lol ...they mean that your supposed to say God's name in vain ]
no, its not. Its the total polar opposite. They think it disrespects god or something...but you know what, you arent alone. i say oh my god and jesus christ all the time. ]
No, they don't mean that at all. See, when you say things such as, "Oh, my God" or "Jesus Christ" in that context. It's saying The Lord's name in vain, so as the person below explained, they would rather you say, "Oh, my gosh." ]
Saying oh my God is using The Lords name in vain, a majorly horrible sin, some people even call it blasphemy. they love God, so they would preffer you saying oh my goodness or gosh. They think throwing around words having to do with God is bad, i personally agree with that ]
its the opposite. its because they love God and saying either one of those is like "using His name in vain " .
hope i helped ;D ]
its just the opposite. they actually love God, and get very offended when you take his name in vain. one of the ten commandments is "thou shalt not take thy Lord's name in vain" and many religious people take it very seriously. ]
No.
It's because you're using the Lords name in vain. Religious people may get offended. ]
It's actually the opposite....saying those things disrespects God unless you are praying...so they may be offended by those comments.. ]
