Hey I'm 19 and a college sophomore. I'm majoring in social work and I want to do something with child services for a career. I'm 16. I've never drank, done drugs, or done anything with a guy. I'm pretty okay with that because I do really well in school, have never gotten in trouble before, and still have alot of fun with my friends. I actually have a good time just reading a book or watching TV or whatever. Is that weird? I mean, I kind of hang out with a really straight-edged kind of group of people, and I don't really mind that. Am I the only one in high school who actually IS a good girl like that? Because sometimes I feel like everybody's out getting drunk at crazy parties while I'm at home reading a book. Haha. Hopefully good things come to those who wait and DON'T make stupid decisions in high school? I just don't want to look back at high school when I'm older and wish I did crazier stuff... It's not weird at all. In fact, I'm exactly the same way. Growing up, I had two parents who were alcoholics, so alcohol is kind of my enemy and drugs never were appealing and I'm waiting until I'm a responsible adult to have sex. That's just the way I've been brought up and my friends are similar to me as well..so good for you for staying clean, I know it can be hard since most teens aren't but it's good that there are other good teenagers out there with me :)

To be in Spanish National Honor Society, you usually have to take spanish for a certain number of years, attend meetings and sometimes go on trips. You may want to contact the person i ncharge or a member to see what the requirements are.
Both Honor Societies look great on a college application or schlolarship applications so that's something to keep in mind as well.

what do you write for yearbook messages? it always takes me forever and i cant even summarize anything up. i know HAKAS is overdone and i know were supposed to write something funny, a special situation you shared with that person. can anyone give me an example? what if random people you dont really know all that well ask you? do you just sign your name? would that be rude? If I had a class with that person during the year, I may make a comment about how great it was having the class with him or her. If there was a party I saw him or her at I write about that. Even if I never hang out with him or her, if they're in my grade, then I'd write..I can't wait to be sophmors! or whatever grade is the next.. for graduates..I write I'll miss you next year or we should keep in touch (if friends)..I always try to personalize it somehow..I hope I'm able to help you!

I go to a female pediatrition and she does a full exam...if your'e a girl and you have a male pediatrition, then he may not...but it depends on the doctor...so yes, probably.

You shouldn't wear a skirt and make sure you're wearing tennis shoes that won't come off easily. Don't bring a purse to the concert itself because it'll get in the way and you won't want to hold onto it. Remember to wear plenty of deodorant because it gets really hot. A loose tshirt would work great with shorts or jeans.
Have fun at the concert! I've seen them before and they put on a great show!

If you have oily skin, Clearsil and Clean and Clear is what I use and they work very well. As far as foods go...soda and large amounts of junk food are bad for your skin.

The only place I can think of is Fleet and Farm or Farm and Fleet. I don't know if those stores are around you but we have one and I know they have country style clothes.

A few signs might be...He may talk about the future and you'd be in it. he may look into your eyes when talking to you or listening to you. he actually cares about your well-being and understands you. He only talks of you, not of other girls and doesn't compare you to past girlfriends. He makes you happy and wants you to feel good about yourself...

Of course God wants you to have love! God loves us so in turn we can love him and others. Everyone is meant to love, don't worry. Everyone is afraid of being in love at first, it's scary. If you trust yourself and the person then you have nothing to be worried about.

my best friend, hes amazing, loud, hiper, HOTT (!), and depressed. and i cant help but have feelings for him, i mean im a horney girl (lol). but i miss him, he was admitted to the phsc ward in a hospitale. and i havent talked to him in 3 days. and i need to talk to him sooooo badly. but like he knows my number, and i know that there is a pay phone there. but i know he has like really bad depression and i know he gets embarrassed easily, and i know he likes me. and he dosent know i know hes in there. but his mom told me (and his mom told him to call me). and i know he has feelings for me. do you think hes embarrassed? what do you think i should do? i'm sure he is embarrassed, can you imagine being sent to the psych ward and then go out and tell people about it. i think that the best thing for you to do is to go visit him, i mean he may be embarrassed but i'm sure that he would like your company. i mean if you really like him and he likes you then the best way to get to know each other is by seeing each other at your worst, and if you show him that you care enough to visit him when he's down, then maybe things can happen and he'll see that you mean a lot to him. Just try it!

I called my mom an assh*** and an idiot because I was upset with her and she took away my computer for the whole Saturday, she stole all of my money I'd been saving up for years and won't give it back. (It was about $130.00) and she slapped my head three times. while I was doing my duty in the bathroom. Oh yeah, and she hasn't stopped yelling at me for an hour and I can't do anything this whole weekend. Did I deserve all of this being taken away? Did she overact?
And I told her sorry but she doesn't believe me. I need to hang out with my friends! But how can I? (link)

i think that she might have over reacted a little, but you did kind of deserve it. if i called my mom that i wouldn't be seeing my car or my phone or even the day of light till i was 18 (like one year) but still, maybe writing a note and really being nice and helping around the house will shorten your punishment. But since you did call her those names you need to live with the consequences, your friends will still be there after your punishment is up. (and don't try sneeking out or something stupid like that because you will get into even worse trouble than you are in now.

your parents always calling you names or shooting you down all the time, like constintaly not once or twice and physical abuse is when they hit you or intentually hurt you, not out of disciple. but for no reason that they start to hit you or even threaten you, throwing you around or throwing things at you. things like that.

I met my bf online a year ago. We talk a lot, like everyday. We usually talk on skype, which is by the way a good program. One time, I called his house phone and asked for his name but an old lady said there is no one by that name who lives in there. I called the next week and i got the same answer. For some reason, he gave his password in his e-mail and maybe he forgot to delete his sent mails and read that all his mails had a a girl's name on the end. I asked him about it and "he" vehemently denied it. He said, he's sharing an e-mail account with his cousin Leah. Well, the pictures he gave me was that of a guy and he sound like a guy..he sounds husky. I am in love with him and I don't think I could accept the fact that my bf is a lesbian pretending to be a guy. He sent me pics of a guy, and even a driver's license with his name and picture on it. I asked him many times if he could get a webcam so i could view him but he always say, "yeah, next month baby..." until i completely forget about it. We plan to get married and he's coming over my country this christmas (as what he said). Now, im really confused. I don't know where to seek help to make sure if my bf is really a guy... first off, you can't trust anyone online. and if you plan on meeting him, you shouldn't do it alone. trust me. there is a chance that he is lying and is trying to hide something from you, but there may just be a chance that he's not and he's just embarressed to let you see him. I don't know the situation entirely, but you need to ask him directly, i know it'll be embarrassing and if he says he loves you, then tell him that he needs to tell you the entire truth and if he can't do that then maybe you shouldn't be meeting him. and i just want to warn you be really careful about what you tell him, he may not be who you think he is and it could turn out really really bad.
