Over the last few days I haven't been really hungry, even when I barely ate that day. Like yesterday I had a really small sandwich in the morning and I wasn't hungry til waay later. And today I haven't really eatten anything and I wasn't hungry but I ate dinner cause I know its bad to not eat. But is there something wrong that I haven't been hungry? Or could it be that I'm just realizing I want to lose weight (which i do) or what? 13/f

idk it depends on how your body works & what not so it can be a whole bunch of things. you should eat all 3 meals, especially breakfast good sized because you either gain weight, er stay the same weight from doing that & it isn't healthy at all. here's a website-

well theres thease two guys at school that i really really like! joe and glen! there bestfriends.well they both know i like them and i know they like me back! but i dont go out with any of them. ive been hanging out with glen every day this month(im serious) he calls me every night to make plans with me for tomorrow! and ive made out with him alot of times! and one day i was at his house in his bedroom and me and him were on his bed makin out and he was on top of me! and since joe is his bestfriend glens mom told him to just go upstairs into his room. so he did and he saw us. he was like get off of her. and glen goes she dont like you she likes me. and then i was just standin there watchin them fight over me back and forth. all of a sudden joe comes over to me and grabs my ass and kisses me. and then glen smacks him. well anyways now there gunna have a fight over me! at his house tomorrow night! and idk what to do! helpp me please

haha wow i think some girls might say you're lucky =) who do you like more?? you juss need to sort out your feelings & decide who you would care if they went out w/ some other girl, er who you wanna be with, er who makes you laugh, etc. it seems like you might have more feelings towrads glen but that's up to you. it's however you feel & then you have to talk to both of them & explain it & go with the guy you feel more for.

im 13 years old, and im afraid of the dark still. ok, let me rephrase that: im not exactly afraid, but everytime i am someplace dark, i feel very uncomfortable, like something is watching/following me. i know its not real, which is why i need help: first of all, is it weird that i feel afraid at 13, and also what can i do to make myself not scared? thx in advance ill rate all 5s!

definately not weird. don't worry about it. i'm pretty sure that's normal because sometimes i have problems sleeping & stuff over dumb things. when you're in the dark you juss have to realize it's the same as being light..except darker =) idk how to explain it. when you're sleeping, you can't see anyway, so it shouldn't really be a big deal until you wake up but then you can juss go around and do what you gotta do. age doesn't really matter though, like even though you're 13. you'll eventually grow out've it & that's all you can really do. here's a website-

My dad has a girlfriend and I don't like her she's tells him what I do and then I get introuble she also treats me like a 3 year old what do I do and my dad is planning to marry her and he's already purposed and that was like in two months that he's been dating her

you gotta sit down & talk to your dad about it. he probably really wants to know how you feel about it & since you never complained about it, then he probably doesn't know you have a problem with her. two months is pretty fast soo let him know that & maybe tell him that he should wait a bit before he jumps into a marriage w/ his gf. you guys can sort it out by talking about it.

What are good for excersicing your thighs and abs? (like to tone)

well obviously there's a whole bunch out there but some don't really work. we do some at basketball & stuff. for thighs/butt try lungs. oh mannnn =) they work but hurt haha. like u juss lung forward so one legs out and one knee touches the ground & walk like that a few at a time soo you might wanna do this outside er in a gym er something. it pulls & you can feel it. the lower you go the more muscles you work. for abs you should do crunches. slow ones, maybe 50 er so a day. here's a few websites-

I have a friend, who's also a lesbian, that I have a crush on. The problem is that I think she's a bit peeved at me... and I don't know why. She doesn't know i'm interested, either.

the best thing for you to do would let her know, even if you don't think she'll be interested. you don't want to be curious & wonder what would've happened if you told her & plus u want to be honest & all. so sit down & let her know.

I have real problems with my hands at the moment, my thumbs especially. They keep 'jarring' (i.e. getting kind of stuck) and clicking when I try and bend them. It doesn't hurt a lot, but it is uncomfortable. I've heard that cracking your fingers (on purpose, I know, but still...) a lot can lead to arthritis, and my mother and grandmother both have this (my mother has rheumatoid arthritis if that helps) and they both got the joint clicking thing. This started about a month ago and has been getting progressively worse. Is arthritis heriditary? Is there anything I can do to try and prevent this or slow it down, IF it is arthritis?
I want to work with children; this would be extremely debilitating for me. My mother is only 40 and can barely do anything for herself. I don't want to end up like that!

haha oh man =) i crack my fingers allll the time & i actually learned a really good lesson from my bf. it does eventually lead to arthritis i heard but it's sortve rare. i heard that cracking your fingers can also be good but do damage to your knuckles. do you crack them constantly? you juss have to learn to not crack them. do it by time frame for example start with 15-30 mins w/out cracking them, & then you can, etc etc. if you don't have a problem w/ cracking them then dont. you cant really do anything else juss be careful with what you do. so basically don't crack them, be careful w/ that. you can't really prevent it from happening exactly. you can also actually do exercises. here's a website-

I just started highschool and I was out for 3 weeks in the begining of the school year. I am usualy out once a week because I get so depressed my body just gets tired emotional and physicly that I just feel like staying in bed all day. Also I fight with my teachers alot so much they might have to expell me and change my school just because im having such a hard time in school! Is there anyones I can change these problems?

hmm you might not want to do this but i think you should go see a professional about it. you may be thinking 'uhh i definately don't need that & that's kindve dumb' but it could probably really help you. there's probably clicnics & stuff around your area so you juss need to do some research on that. don't get depressed over school because you have to do it. yessss school absolutely sucks but you gotta.

ok, so the the 5th day of sckool my friend said that on friday eric (the kid i like) said he liked me a little, and was going to ask me out! & then my other friend said eric said he wanted to meet me after sckool where no one was because he had to ask me something, but then he said never mind, & then he told me he liked my friend britt, but wed. he told me he doesnt like her anymore and likes someone new.. im so confused, and i dont know what to do, advice needed urgently.. thank you 13/f

no offense but that kid seems dumb =) i think that you should try to look around for someone else because he doesn't seem worth your time. i mean maybeeee he's doing that to make you jealous er something so you like him more, idk. talk to him about it though. maybe he doesn't know that you really like him. juss ask him about it & if you feel uncomfortable about it then get a friend to help you.

Every time Im on the phone with my boyfriend we always start argueing because he always brings up my old boyfriends that are long gon. I do not want to brake up with him but he's forceing me to. What should I do

ehh that seems like a weird situation & it's probably juss because he's jealous. explain to him that your bfs were before, not now & that's totally different. he seems insecure about it & you juss need to straight tell him that they aren't involved with you anymore. maybe he can even talk to them himself. if he trusts you he wouldn't be worried about it. ask him if he does. it almost seems like its an excuse, because why would he ever bring that up if he didn't trust you? explain this to him & talk to him about it.

ok i started BC about 2weeks ago. i went to the gyn and i was on day 2 of my period and he told me to go ahead and start taken it. well i started taken it and then when i got off the period the dry/brown blood came out put i'm still having it come out it's not as heavy as it was when i 1st got off my period but i still have it. i haven't called my docotor yet i was going to wait a while before i did. jsut to see if it would stop. i haven't had sex in 3months and me and my boyfriend want to this weekend. so would be ok to have sex firday? and aslso do you have any clue why i would still be having brown bleeding//i should be starting my period in about 2weeks or so. this is my 1st time starting BD also

it's probably because you juss started it. i don't take BC because i don't wanna have sex yet, but we learned about it in health class & sex ed & all that stuff. when you first start BC, it takes a bit to adjust to it. you don't juss take it & you adjust. if i were you, i'd wait a few days & if it keeps up ask your doctor. i wouldn't have sex w/ him yet until you're totally sure it's normal er w/e because you don't want any mistakes & then end up pregnant. if you guys really wanna have sex, then use protection, but try seeing a doctor first.

I want to raise enough money to buy a nano iPod but many places you have to be 16 to work at. My friend told me that to work at McDonalds you can be 14(my current age) Does anyone know if this is true?

P.S-I know there food is the worst for you but I'm working there for the money.

you have to be 15 to work there i'm pretty sure. that goes for mickey d's, burger king, wendys, & places like grocery stores. idk which ones you have but you can get bagging jobs er stock jobs. those are all my friends jobs & they're 15.

okay you can do a few things. there's a background page on here, but if you don't like any of them, then you can get different ones. you can go to xanga & get people's icons. you right click & go to properties & copy that code & then go to the profile/column things & put that in bg picture & stuff. you can also get xanga backgrounds by using that property link.

hmm don't think of it as age because age doesn't matter =) unless its like over 10 yrs..that's gross haha. anyways, i think you should go for whoever you want. 4 years isn't a big age difference for a relationship, but keep in mind that he is a senior & he will be going off to college soo juss keep that in mind. but yeah go for it. you er a friend, if you don't feel comfortable with it, should tell him you like him so that way he knows. you don't want to not tell him & then be curious wondering if you guys could've gone out & stuff. you seem to like him more than the other guy. if it goes wrong w/ the senior, then ask your other friend out & juss tell him & all that. it'll sort it out.
