does any one know any temporary dyes that are close to that?
Also my hair is naturally somewhere between blonde and brown and I have brown eyes. I've heard that girls with dark brown eyes are supposed to stay within two shades of their natural color, but I think dark brown eyes and dark brown hair look really good together. Thoughts?

I buy hair dye quite a lot and find that most brands do colours like that, permanent and semi permanent, so next time you're at the shops, have a gander and see which you'd prefer.

and where did you hear that? You aren't "supposed" to do anything, some people might prefer it, whereas others won't.
Personally, I think brown eyes and dark hair are an awesome match. and remember, with a bit of coloured eye make up, you can always make your eyes "pop" that little bit more.

My camera that I have now is a Sony Cybershot. It's a pretty good camera but everytime I use the flash my eyes sometimes always shut for the picture or I just look tired hahah. Anyways, is there a really good camera or cameras that have a good flash that doesn't make you blink as much? and if there isn't, can you just name some really good digital cameras? and let me know if the cameras fall under the good flash category or just a good camera, please and thank you:)

Does your camera have different flash settings? Like for indoors, outdoors, etc.
Try them all, it could just be one of the settings that does it.
Also, try it with no flash at all. With mine, I thought pictures would come out fuzzy with no flash, but they're fine when it's day time.

(I use a fujifilm finepix F60. It's such a bargain! The quality is wicked though)

Well my dad will not let me sleepover at a friend of mine's house- actually not any of my friends! NOBODY! I known her for 7 years (thats more than half of my life!) My mom is okay with sleepovers but she says your dad needs to agree too. >:( I have only been to one sleepover in my life and only cuz my dad was in San Fransisco (Hehe he doesnt know) Well he says I can't sleepover because it is not safe.

You missed out an important piece of information.. Your age!

Anyway, my dad was the same when I was younger. My mum was totally cool with me staying over my friends house, but my dad hated the idea.

What changed his mind was when it was my friends birthday and she had a sleepover.. she was one of my best friends, so naturally, I wanted to go.

My mum talked to my dad about it. They agreed they would take me there, pick me up and exchange telephone numbers with my friends parents.
This made my dad realize there wasn't much to worry about and if that small chance something DID happen, they would be able to contact him.

You should try it this way, too.
Tell him to talk to your friends parents beforehand and exchange telephone numbers.. tell him you will be on your best behaviour. Negotiate if you have to, for example, if he lets you go to her house, you will wash up for a week.

If nothing seems to change his mind, I know it sucks, but you will have to accept it for now. The less you go on and on about it, he will see you are mature.. and that maybe you can be trusted to do your own thing once in a while.

Things will get easier as you get older.. Remember, for some parents, it's harder to let go and see their kids grow up and become adults, hence being stricter.

hi... as funny as this sounds, this a really weird and bad situation and I was hoping I could get some advice from you guys. My mom is ltierally obsessed with hair, but not just any hair, MY hair. She's always "liked" hair, I guess you could say. She should have become a beutician! She loves to do make up and all of that stuff. But, lately, the obsession has grown to the point where she really doesn't let me live. About a year and half ago, I had an eating disorder. I was anorexic and mildly bullemic. However, during this time period, a lot of my hair fell out. It was not just that. It was also the fact that I had done a lot of things to my hair. But at the time, I was like 17 or 18 and I just wanted to experiment with different things. My natural hair color is an ash brown. It's actually very pretty. I've always just done highlights and lowlights for it not to be so ashy. But, it is a nice color. I don't have a problem with it. My senior year of high school, I just bleached my hair blonde, blonde, blonde. It didn't look ugly, but after I while, I just didn't feel like myself. I tried different shades of brown, and I thought that for now, any brown would look fine because you wouldn't notice the hair growing back as much as you would in blonde. My roots looked almost black next to that hair color because it was so light. But, the bleach and other stuff made my hair fall out. I cut my hair around shoulder length and it wasn't short. Just normal. I got extentions to make myself feel a little better because not only was it shorter than my hair usually was (it was usually up to my waist), but it it was very thin and it had no volume. My mom has become obsessed with those extentions.

The other day, I needed to redo the extentions because they had already grown out a lot. They just needed to bring them up. In doing this, the lady doing my hair had put a toner (which isn't a hair dye, it's like something that just enhances your color, makes it look brighter). It came out a little red. So, I went back and she put something else in it to take out that red. The red was very potent. I had to take it out. Now my hair looks a little darker. After a couple of washes, it will wash out. It's not that big of a deal. But my mom went CRAZY. She was like that's too dark and she was like almost crying in the car. She's like going crazy. Then today, when I woke up, the quality of the hair was really bad. Like, it was brittle and frizzy and I just went yesturday to go get it fixed! She had ANOTHER fit. And she said that she was going to call her today and she was going to have to fix my color.

I understand where my mom is coming from and why she is upset. The hair looked terrible today and we paid good money for it. However, when it comes to the color, and the way she's going about it, she's out of control! I mean, I'm 19 and I think I can handle these things myself. I really look fine. It's just the quality of the hair that's bad. But... my mom doesn't even let me wash my own hair! She says she has to do it for me! I really don't feel comfortable taking out my extensions until my hair grows out just a little bit more. But, how can I deal with my mom? I don't think it's hair necessarily that she's obsessed with. I think she's just using that to cover up for other things. It's always my hair! She never asks me about school, work, boyfriends, you know, important things! How can I deal with her and what do I do about the hair until it grows back?

She just cares. Nothing more, nothing less.
It must have been a stressful time for you and your mother when you had your eating disorders and now it's probably rubbed off on her, where she just wants what's best for you.. because after all, you'll always be her little girl, no matter how old you are.
Some mothers do get like this.. and at the end of the day, you should be flattered by it, not freaked out, because it proves how much she cares, about something so simple, like hair extensions. She just wants you to look your best after the tough time you went through.

Just talk to her about it. I think she just needs reassuring that you can do things yourself. Tell her you want to experiment in your own way and if something goes wrong, you can sort it out yourself. If she doesn't like what you're doing with your hair, tell her that you do like it, but you appreciate her opinions and how she's looking out for you.

Every company is different.
I've worked in 2 retail stores and they both did it in 2 completely different ways - of course the objective is to take the customers money but the computer systems were both different.
If you go for a job which includes serving, you will be trained and you'll get the hang of it soon enough. They're easy once you've been shown a few times. :)

Okay, here's the situation. I used to have unprotected sex with my ex-fiancee, including anal sex which was unprotected. Then I had the same situation with another girl (except for the anal part). But I found out afterwards that she took drugs, like snorting coke and shooting up. After I found out through her roommate, I had to put an end to it. You just got very lucky this time.
You can't go on thinking "ah, it's okay, i'll be fine" - cos that lack of thought and care is what gets people into these bad positions.
Remember, if you are unfortunate enough to get one, you can have it for the rest of your life - not everything can be cleared up with antibiotics.
I'm glad your tests came back clear, but you must play it safe from now on. Even consider having future partners checked.

If so.. ignore him! Seriously. If he doesn't have anything to fuel him, he will soon stop with the rudeness.. I'm not sure who broke up with who or what went on etc, but when he sees you don't care, he's not going to have a reason to do it.

I don't condone underage drinking and what he did to you when you broke up.. but honestly.. the best medicine is to just get him the hell out of your life and ignore him!

Phone your local police station and explain the situation, where they will check it out.. they won't tell your ex it was you, they have to protect your privacy.

Wow, it seems 12 may be too young to be engaged hun. You haven't experienced life in all it's glory yet. I know it's hard to understand this right now, but you will understand when you're older.
Now, I'm not saying you're too young to have feelings for your boyfriend, so.. can I suggest something? If you love your boyfriend, why don't you get "promised".. think of it as a pre engagement.. and get promise rings for each other.
and if you're still together some years down the line, save the engagement for then. :)

I'm thinking about joining Facebook but I hear there are pro's and con's. I'm told the banks, police and federal agencies monitor all the information posted there that others cannot get. I'm also told I give up all rights to whatever I post there and that it is recorded forever. This sounds like I might be putting my personal freedom and privacy on thin ice forever. My friend was denied a car loan because his bank said they read he was planning a vacation to Hawaii on his wall page. A student from a nearby college committed suicide after someone posted a photo on his page that showed him kissing another man. I want to share things with my family and others but is it really wise to put myself at risk like this?

Police etc can check on there if they have a reason, but like I said, if you put up anything incriminating, it's at your own risk. It's not just Facebook that does this - once you put something on the internet, you're letting the world share it with you.

Should I go to the school homecoming dance? I am a senior(12th grade) and I don't know if I should go to the schools homecoming dance. All of my friends are going and I didn't by a homecoming ticket, which was about $15. If I go, they will charge me $20 for entrance. Also, the majority of my friends have girlfriends and they will be dancing with them and all of my girl friends have boyfriends which they'll be dancing with them. I don't know how to dance, I don't have a girlfriend and I'm going to be lonely bored and left out because I have no one to hang with.

Hun, most people will go through this at some point in their lifetime.
I know it hurts, but there isn't anything left that you can do.
He knows you like him and he has a girlfriend - if he liked you back, he wouldn't be with this other girl.
When I was about 17, I went through something similar. I liked a boy who had a girlfriend, he apparently liked me too. He'd meet up with me, basically told me he wanted to be with me and was finding the right time to dump her - this went on for about a year, 'til I realized what the HELL am I doing and why am I wasting my time? Needless to say, I cut off contact and found a boyfriend I could call my own.
Now, I'm not saying to cut off contact with him, but stop crossing the line. He clearly likes his girlfriend, otherwise he wouldn't be with her. You shouldn't have even really told him you like him whilst he's in a relationship (unless he knew before he was with her..)
Let them get on with their relationship - you can't split a couple up and magically make him like you. I know it sucks, but unfortunately, life doesn't work like that!
Carry on being friends by all means, but take a step back and move on. Find another boy and focus your attention on trying to get him. :)

I just got my braces of a week ago, after 3 years and was given new clear retainers, but im really concerned as my bottom row of retainers look like they havent been molded to my teeth during getting the mold taken because there are no contours in them, my top row are fine and fit perfectly but i feel like my bottom row of teeth are moving slightly already as the bottom set are quite a bit slacker than my top set. What should I do, because i do not want my teeth to be crooked after 3 years of braces !!!

You need to consult your orthodontist. You never know, he/she may have purposely fit them like that.. or maybe there's a little error, but it's easily fixed by either bending them or getting a new one.
My retainers fit badly - needless to say, I didn't get it sorted, now 7 years down the line and my teeth aren't straight at all.
Don't let that happen to you.

I really want to get pregnant. Its not that I want to have a baby as much as just have that feeling of being pregnant. All pregnancy women are so pretty with that pregnancy glow about them and everybody is always rubbing their bellies and so excited about them having a brand new baby. I talked to my bf and said i really wanted him to get me pregnant and he was like kind of unsure but said he would think about it. I was thinking of going on and throwing away the box of condoms i have here so he'd like HAVE to do it with me without them? But then I'm just kind of unsure. I mean a baby is pretty time consuming and I don't want people to think I'm evil if I give it up for adoption. Being pregnant really is so cute though. Advice?

You're just going through a phase - lots of girls go through the same one. Your hormones are all over the place at this age, so it's pretty normal.
..but what you're thinking of doing is wrong. You can't pressure your boyfriend and you definitely must use protection.
You've said it yourself - you are unsure. When you want something 100%, you have no doubts and you would've wanted it for absolutely ages. Never rush in to something so huge at such a young age, just because you think it's "cute"
Being a mum is a full time job and for any 15 year old, it's not exactly the best idea.
Being pregnant isn't fun and games, your body goes through MASSIVE changes, physically and mentally. Do you really want to be left with stretch marks at 15? Do you really want the sickness and aches and medical check ups/classes. No, no and no.
You're only seeing the sweet side of it, I reckon if you read up about it, you'd change your mind.

Be smart and enjoy your youth. You've got YEARS to be thinking about becoming pregnant.
