Q: some people on myspace i don't know very well. what are some things to say when adding them? and what are good conversation starters?

You can say "hey,thats for the add""i really liek your page""how are you?""i noticed you like (insert band name) i like them too" something like that.

but you really shouldn't be adding people you dont know,because you dont know who they are behind the computer screen.Just don't ever give out personal information to strangers.

Q: Basic Question: I'm in love with my best friend who is a guy, should I tell him?

Details: Okay, so this year I had my first "guy friend" and he is really nice and we talk on the phone all the time.I moved away and so now we talk on the phone even more.I really like him as more than a friend and he is my first crush i have liked for more that looks it being he's not hte most beautiful guy, he's kinda a nerd but that is beyond the point. For a while he was going out with this one girl so I had to pretend completely not to like him. Now they have broken up it's been about a month and from what he is telling me it wasn't a very dramatic break up. I really want to tell him and but I'm horrid nervous it will ruin out friendship.I'm just not sure if i should tell him i like him. Should I? What are some ways I could tell him casually.

aww,that a tough one since you moved away.If your in driving distance of him,then i would say tell him.The best relationships are when your friends first,he might even feel the same way about you.If he's farther then 3 hours away though drivingwise,it would be difficult to carry on a relationship because of the distance,but it dosent mean that it wont work.When your on the phone with him say something like so...(insert his name here)we've been friends for awhile now and well ive started to developed feelings for you as more then friends..something along those lines.I hope everything works out for you :)

my cousins 13 & hes on a baseball team. im going to watch him play in the championship next month & i wanted to bring him a little pick-me-up. so i was wondering if any of you knew what a good one would be. i dont want to bring him a candy bar because im afraid to slow him down but i dont want to bring him an apple because who wants an apple? so any ideas would be amazing thanks so much!

you can give him orange slices in a baggie,gatorade or powerade,yogurt(the ones in the tubes,i believe their called yo-go's),bubble tape,or sunflower seeds.When i played softball i used to get all those things from my coaches as pick me ups to give us energy and they helped.

Q: So I know this guy.
We used to like eachother
and then all of a sudden he freaked out and stopped talking to me.
and then a couple weeks later he said he wanted to be cool with me... we were both at a party and we got drunk and he coaxed me into his bedroom and made out and some clothes flew off and I asked him I was like why are you doing this I thought you hated me?
and he kept saying over and over again I like you I like you...bla bla bla
soo I beleived it at the time.
And then after that of course he didnt call me or anything.
But then like a long time later after pissing each other off a bunch. We finally see eachother at a small party at my friends house.
He says hey to me in the beginning and we talked and laughed (when sober)
even when he was with another girl...
So we are getting drunk having fun playing beer pong. And I put in tech 9 and he's like telling me to danceee and im like okayyy so i do
and he's like omg I fuckin love you
and later we are laughin havin a frikin blast getting more drunk takin pictures
and he was like treatin me like we have known eachother forever
and everytime i did or said something funny he would be like i love her everyone i love roxie
and he wasnt even trying to take advantage of me he had another girl with him
and before I thought he like hated me cause he used to talk shit all the time...and then he started being nice to me again...idk if thats a way of covering up his tru feelings or what
but i wanted to know if someone like that could lie when drunk?
after that he was passed the fuck out throwin up...
sooo yeah just wondering
if maybe his thoughts might be covered up
until his liquid courage brings it out
or if he is a liar sober and an even bigger one drunk?

the same sort of ordeal happened to me,he would say those things when he was drunk like "omg i like you" we'd hold hands kiss and stuff and then when he was sober acted like nothing happened,but then act nice to me when he was sober.He's nice to you when he's sober,and then he says oh i like you when he's drunk.He pretty much knows he can have you at the palm of his hand.I know it hurts but honestly,i wouldn't waste my time on this guy.

Q: I'm applying for Starbucks, and while I know they probably won't hire me yet (I'm 16 with no other past jobs, this would be my first one) I need to try. Its pretty much the last place I'm turning in my resume...

But there's this one question that I don't know how to answer correctly. My mother, a former McDonalds boss, shot down all of my answers. And well, here's the question:

"Describe a situation where you have provided excellent customer service in your most recent position. Why was this effective?"

hmm,i had this question on one of my applications too.I left it blank because it was going to be my first job too,i think it asks you meaning "recent position" like the recent job you had how did you provide excellent customer service? make sense? so since it's going to be your first job i wouldn't write anything.

i try not to show it, actually i dont at all. but really im a JEALOUS person. i get jealous of everyone. now im a hockey manager for the boys team at our school =] with three other girls. one is my best friend. i share a locker with her at school and we have two classes together. well i absoultely love hockey boys. and lately it seems like the "cute" boys have been kinda talking and maybe flirting a little with my best friend. there is this one boy(he actually has a girlfriend) who everyone thinks is like the hottest boy at our school and everytime he sees my friend he like "hits" her or pokes her, makes funny noises at her like kinda flirting though you know. its weird though because she hasnt really even talked to him before, this started out of no where and it just started happening like a week ago. not to sound mean AT ALL because i love her to death but i think im acutally prettier than her. not many guys i know think she is cute, she is really nice but super shy too. and its not like im mean or anything but i just wonder, why dont these boys "flirt" with me or anything? i talk to two of them, i have classes with them. they both have girlfriends but they're cool. but i just get so jealous of these kind of situations. i dont know what to do, its been bugging me. and i think that my friend may think she is kind of cool because of this. any suggestions!?

Im quite the jealous person myself..( i mean look at my title lol) i used to how u are with your best friend, everytime we would hang out guys would all of a sudden talk to her and shut me out and i got pretty jealous and angry alot of the time.The only difference is is that your friend never gets noticed by guys and my friend always did so why not let her have your shining moment? it's not all about looks with guys,maybe she's just more friendly and talkative then you are.If you start to get jealous again,just talk to the other guys get to know them and focus on them rather than your best friend.Just whatever you do dont try to "steal" the guy away from her or try to but in their conversations that's just childish.Dont worry,your time to shine will come but for now just let your friend soak it in for now.

Yeah its possible.I have alot of guy friends who girls pretty much go gaga for all the time,but i really dont have any interests in like a sexual way with them.I mean dont get me wrong,my friends are cute i must say but i think of them in like a brother kind of way in a sense like i can talk to them about everything and i know they wont judge me or anything like that.People tell me well if you have that connection with someone then why not?! but you cant help who you like,just how i see some really attractive guys with well..not very attractive girls.You just listen to what your heart tells you :)

It dosen't raelly matter how you say it though i mean alot of people use slang words these days and they dont make sense in a sentence lol but The correct way is "used to" like for example, "i used to be a kid" :D

Q: okay, im just getting over a cold, and have the biggest freakin cold sore youve ever seen@ Its humungous! The worst part is, it swelled up my lip so now i look like i have baloon lips. I need tips on how to get rid of it and/or hide it!

it sounds to me that you might have an infection down there if its a yellowish color.You might want to go to your doctor to get it checked out.

Melting Pot.Our country is very diverse right now.Spanish and English are our too main languages.My high school is VERY diverse.There are about 60 different ethic groups in my school and there's about 50 different languages spoken.My school is deffinately NOT all one type of thing.This is our world today,a mixture of everything and i think it will continue to be that way for a very long time.
