The games are physically demanding and mentally draining. When I was 13 yrs old, the most important thing for someone to give me was confidence; a congratulations card, a note that told me how proud they were of me, advice on keeping my cool and playing my 'own game'. The little reassurance I received from the people I care about makes the game go smoother and helps me continue my confidence throughout the day to prepare for the game and to be ready for any situation at hand. Try it, he may be a half a step faster, or be more confident at the plate just because he knows you believe. [ TMZheartsJDMS022108's advice column | Ask TMZheartsJDMS022108 A Question ]
