I'm starting to really like Techno.. except I can't find any good stuff!! It's hard! Anyways does anyone know how i can find some really good techno music quickly and efficiently?

ok my birthday is coming up soon and im a girl and i will be turning 14 can anyone give me ideas on what to do to make the party really fun.. i was thinking of making it a hotel party and renting a suite for 1 night both girls and boys but like if i do i need some ideas of what to do ..thanks

You're only turning 14. I would save the hotel party for when you're a little older.
Do something at home, if you or anyone else you know has a pool maybe have a pool party. If you live by the beach, maybe do a big beach/bonfire party.

Ok well me and my friends hang out in a group of four. None of us can buy costumes anymore, so we need a good Halloween costume for four people. Can you give me some ideas? We need all the time we can get to put together stuff. We have makeup, but we don't know what to use it for, we have normal clothes in the closet, old Halloween costume parts, and maybe some acsessories. Please help.

If you guys ever watched Daria (and if you're all girls), you guys can be the girls of the Fashion Club. That would be cool. You guys can be the pink ladies from Greace. Maybe get pink t-shirts and paint the logo on the back, and whoever is frenchy can do her hair pink like she ends up doing in the movie (and if you can get a group of guys--they can be the t-birds, lol), you guys can dress up as Mary-Kate Olsen, Ashley Olsen, Lindsay Lohan and like, Paris Hilton or something...the 'it girls'. theres also the Wizard of Oz group (scarecrow, tin man, lion & Dorothy), If its 2 guys and 2 girls, you guys can be the characters from Scooby Doo. Hopefully these are some good ideas.

I want to do something special for each of my parents. They do so much for me so I want to show them how much I care. So what should I do? Nothing that costs a lot...Like Breakfast in bed is a good idea, but 1. I have school and 2. They wake up before me...any ideas???

Maybe on a Saturday or Sunday wake up even earlier/before them and make your breakfast in bed.

okay .. i have these two friends that have recently been excluding me. like, whenever i'm hanging out with the both of them, they tell each other stuff and act like i'm not even there, and since they both have boyfriends now, they always make plans and leave me out. like they make plans right in front of me and dont invite me and then say " oh, well we don't want to make you feel bad, so i guess you can come if you want .. " but, when i'm with only one of them and not the other, they are really nice to me. i'm not sure, maybe they aren't excluding me intenionally because they are usually nice and dont seem like they would do something like that. i've always been nice to then, and im starting to think that maybe i've been too nice to them. maybe i'm just overreacting, but it makes me feel bad when they do that. i'm sick of feeling left out .. is there anything that i can do to not let this get to me as much or to not be excluded as much ? thanks.

I'm sorry you feel like that. I've had friends that do the same to me (not because of boyfriends, but just because). I've always then done my own thing or go out with other people. But thats me, and I've moved on because of them doing that. I've made other friends that don't do that kind of thing to me. Maybe you can talk to your friends though, and tell them how you feel. Maybe plan a day where the three of you guys can just hang out. Maybe go to a movie and then to eat something after and just tell them "I like hanging out with you guys... lately though, I've been feeling left out, or something...". Sometimes when people are in relationships, they tend to leave other people out... but it wouldn't hurt for them to set aside time to spend with just their friends. Suggest that you guys set at least 1 or 2 days a week for you guys to just hang out, the three of you or whatever.

I have two best friends. One (shelby) has her sweet sixteen coming up in december. She has planned on just spending time with her mom, but my other best friend ( christa) and i know thats not what she wants to do. Its just something that her mom made her feel guilty about. Well we decided we are going to throw her a surprize sleepover in my basement, somewhere around her birthday. My question is, I dont know exactly where to start. I also need ideas for what to do. This party is coming totally out of christa and my pocket (with a little help from out moms) so It cant be expensive. Any help would be appreciated!

First off, make a list of people you want to have come. Then, ask around and see what things THEY would like to do. So its like all of you are coming up with ideas and then you and Christa are hosting the whole thing. Get snacks/food, movies, music, and some other things. Set a date and time and then also go from there.

I'm new to the school, and I just talked to this kid today who doesn't talk to anyone either, well I just asked him a question. He seems really cool & I really want to start being friends with him, or just talk to him. I don't want him to think I'm super weird, but I just want to start talking to him, because we're the only two that don't in the whole class of 25 people.

What's a good way to start conversation with this kid. The only time I see him is in that class, so I don't really know what to say. =/

my hair is layered around my shoulders at the longest. the longer part always flips out, and the shorter layer flips under. if i were to get my hair cut to the shorter layer would it all flip the same way or would half my hair be flipped out and half flipped under?

My hair used to do that. Except the right side flipped in and the left side flipped out... so when you looked at me, it looked like the wind was blowing one way and my hair was flowing with the wind, lol. I think your hair will just do what it wants. Try using a curling iron or curlers and curling in under or flipping out, whichever you prefer. I don't know if cutting it will help... I think it'll just do what it wants. Or if you like the straight look, try straightening your hair... so it will neither flip under or out.

Hey, me & this boy named Kyle have been best friends since 2nd grade, he's liked me since then (2nd grade) for a girlfriend & I've liked him as a boyfriend since 5th grade. We never dated because I didn't want to ruin our relationship as friends, and if we ever broke up I didn't want it to seem awkward for us! So, now I'm in 10th grade & I just moved 26 hours away from him (We both still live in the USA) Just I live in Texas and he lives in Pennsylvania. We talk on the phone & internet. I love him to death he's absolutely amazing, and he tells me the same thing back. Except, he won't wait until we graduate for me, he says "Whatever happens, happens!" I guess he's right in a way, I can't stop him from seeing other people, but I want him to sooo bad. He doesn't believe in long distance relationships, so. I don't know what to do. Is he right about the whole situation? Or, do you think I'm just over reacting about the whole thing? Thanks for your help!

Well, like you said, he IS right. Whatever happens, happens. Its good that you two have been friends for so long & its amazing that you both have liked eachother that way for so long. I guess all you can do, is keep in touch like you have been doing... don't just let him go. Keep him as a good friend, you two go way back. Let him know that you'll always have a place in your heart for him and you hope that he has one for you. Who knows, maybe he won't find someone he likes and vice versa. Just keep in touch, stay friends... and if its possible, visit him.

hey is size 8 really big for jeans..cause am 124 pounds and i keep lookin at my thighs and think they are fat .but for some people 124 pouds .they look slim.and i think look really fat in my thighs.and i have very little body fat.so is 124 pounds fat .and its not like i have eating disorders.i just want to know.

It depends on your height. And some people have more weight in different areas. For example, some people who weigh the same amount as me, look bigger because they have a bigger chest. I have a smaller chest, therefore I look like I weigh a little less. And like I said, it also depends on your height. Hope I helped.

I always have trouble on picture day, I have wide shoulders and a large bustline, and not many styles of shirts look flattering, tank tops make me look like a football player, and halters are even worse. I look too busty with a v-nack, but simple shirts seem to just make everything look worse. Does anyone have any shirt ideas that can flatter or disguise my flaws?

Maybe just a regular fitted t-shirt that doesn't show off any of the chest? Those are like my comfort-zone tees, lol. Sometimes simple is better. Just go with a plain tee. Maybe plain white or plain black.

Hmm... maybe straighten it with a hair straightener and just leave it down? You can put it up in a messy bun. Maybe scrunch it and spray salt water in it to give it a beachy look (I read that in a magazine... kind of like what Amanda Bynes used to do when she scrunched her hair), if you have bangs, take those (or what would be your bangs if you had them) and pin them back with some bobby pins (then, you can even put your hair up in a pony tail after that). okay..i was just wondering. what year was easier for some of you guys, freshman year or sophomore year. cuz like i mean. me and my friend we meet people at freshman and stuff..but we don't have lunch with them..and like its really hard kinda making friends and stuff..but..me and my friend are really outgoing and stuff..and..um..well..do things get better in sophomore year or what?! jeez please tell me!! lol i kno this is such a stupid question..but what i really wanna know is what year was easier for you guys between (freshman or sophomore) and if you guys met more people in sophomore year than freshman..IF YOU GUYS TELL ME I`LL RATE HIGH!! its such an easy question!!

My town has many elementary schools, those kids will go to either one of the two middle schools, then you'll all meet up again and go to the one high school in the city. So this is how it was for me.

Freshman year, you'll still be hanging out with the same kids that you hung out with in middle school. You'll be reunited with some of the kids you knew in elementary school, who didn't go to your middle school... but most likely you'll stay with your middle school friends. But now, you have all of these other kids, new ones and ones you've never met before. Eventually your group will expand some and lose some [people]. You find out who you really are, and what kind of people you actually click with.

Then sophmore year is just knowing who you are and going with that... you'll make some new friends as well.

Then junior and senior year you REALLY start knowing who you're close with and you just stick with those people and have fun.

To answer your question... for me, sophmore year was easier sort of. Thats when I guess it was sort of "official" that we were friends. Freshman year, you're just getting to know everyone... then sophmore year you know.

I know it may be a little crazy ... but just be yourself! If its a guy you really like, talk to him and get to know him. You don't want to make yourself seem desperate. Talk to him and be natural. Smile when you see him (but that'll most likely come naturally if you like him). Good luck.

i dont get it...i only got 4 hours of sleep last night and i was very tired throughout the day but i cant fall asleep now! i've been trying for hours. all i do is lay there with an empty mind..not thinking about anything...how could i fall asleep?

Sometimes reading helps. lol, I've also heard that watching fish make people tired/relaxed. You can try one of those. If nothing works, just watch some tv or keep yourself occupied until you're tired. Hope I helped. I can't sleep either, so I decided to give out some advice!

My school's homecoming dance is in about 2 weeks. I keep hearing "so and so is gonna ask you" and then the next day "nevermind he might not even go" I'm starting to get really upset that i might not get asked, i'm not really unnattractive either, but i always try to hook up my friends with the guys i really like.. stupid i know. Don't hook your friends up with guys that YOU really like! lol. If you don't get asked, go with a friend (girl or guy) who's not going with anyone either. Just go and have fun. If someone asks you, great, if not... don't worry about it.

Mmkay, so I'm new at the whole picture phone thing.

I have the choice between a really nice phone, and a digital camera. I want the phone, if and only if I can transfer that pix onto my computer. Is this possible??

Yea, you just e-mail them to your e-mail address, and then "save picture as...". I don't know what phone you're getting, but most camera-phones aren't that good quality. Just make sure it has a flash. But with the camera phone you get a phone AND a camera. Just make sure its pretty good quality.
