Question Posted Wednesday September 14 2005, 6:45 pm

I'm new to the school, and I just talked to this kid today who doesn't talk to anyone either, well I just asked him a question. He seems really cool & I really want to start being friends with him, or just talk to him. I don't want him to think I'm super weird, but I just want to start talking to him, because we're the only two that don't in the whole class of 25 people.

What's a good way to start conversation with this kid. The only time I see him is in that class, so I don't really know what to say. =/

Thanks a bunch.

i would pay attention to him from afar and notice what he seems to be into, then when you notice something similar to yourself well then it will come naturally when you talk about it, good luck

Just ask him how he's doing or ask him about the homework. Hopefully you two will become friends. Good luck! Hope I helped!

Make it easy. Ask him if he is just as scared as you are about the new school year. That will get him to open up with answers. Echange names, number, IM and whatnot and agree to meet up on a weekend. Bingo, done, no big deal. Happens and works 90% of all instances. If you admit being as afriad of the unknown as him that will loosen him or anyone else up with the same problem.

You can always ask him on Mondays how is weekend was and then just go from there. Whatever he did, ask him questions on and start talking about it. Then tell him what you did. Good luck!
