my hair is layered around my shoulders at the longest. the longer part always flips out, and the shorter layer flips under. if i were to get my hair cut to the shorter layer would it all flip the same way or would half my hair be flipped out and half flipped under?
Additional info, added Saturday August 27 2005, 10:12 pm: and straighteners do nothing for my hair or curling irons, my hair doesn't stay no matter what product i use (hair spray, gel) and we have 2 straigteners, and at least 3 different sized curling irons. Except the right side flipped in and the left side flipped out... so when you looked at me, it looked like the wind was blowing one way and my hair was flowing with the wind, lol. I think your hair will just do what it wants. Try using a curling iron or curlers and curling in under or flipping out, whichever you prefer. I don't know if cutting it will help... I think it'll just do what it wants. Or if you like the straight look, try straightening your hair... so it will neither flip under or out.
