I always have trouble on picture day, I have wide shoulders and a large bustline, and not many styles of shirts look flattering, tank tops make me look like a football player, and halters are even worse. I look too busty with a v-nack, but simple shirts seem to just make everything look worse. Does anyone have any shirt ideas that can flatter or disguise my flaws?
icey0990 answered Saturday August 27 2005, 9:44 pm: i think try layering ..like one of those blazers with a shirt underneath..or a button down shirt left open with a shirt underneath
a plain black shirt works..if you dress it up with something like a nice necklace or whatever
i think as long as you dont wear something like a tanktop or halter, you will be fine..the layering thing is something i would try though..im a big person and i find that layering is somewhat appealing...i mean it wont make you look like 90 lbs but it still looks nice in my opinion. jj_u_i_c_y answered Saturday August 27 2005, 8:53 pm: hey hun, i would recomend a really cute button up slight V neck with long sleeves. you can get really cute ones from abercrombie or hollister something like this: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) . kinda pricey i would say. i have it to i leave it totally unbuttoned sometimes and but a lace tank top under it [Link](Mouse over link to see full location). i have the long sleeve in navy and pink one and the tank in white, light pink, and light blue. it looks really cute. and the design of the lace will draw attension from you sholders to you face and neck. and the lace covers the bust line but the button down V makes it look like you have medium boobs. you can get those kind of tops anywhere not only ataf or hco.
Razhie answered Saturday August 27 2005, 7:23 pm: Try a button up blouse, especially one with princess seams, it's a little formal, but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with how you look in one. Also, try sweaters with high but long necks, ones that aren't quite off the shoulder.

LoveNJstyle answered Saturday August 27 2005, 4:16 pm: my friend has a big chest too and she wears tank tops with THICK straps (like 3-4 inches) and not too low of a neckline. fitted and ribbed flatter almost any figure. or on top of that you could wear a cute blazer to hide some of the shoulders and still have a nice neckline. hope that helps! <3 [ LoveNJstyle's advice column | Ask LoveNJstyle A Question ]
iSLAND_iNTHE_SUNx0 answered Saturday August 27 2005, 3:58 pm: Maybe just a regular fitted t-shirt that doesn't show off any of the chest? Those are like my comfort-zone tees, lol. Sometimes simple is better. Just go with a plain tee. Maybe plain white or plain black.

SweetStarx89 answered Saturday August 27 2005, 3:30 pm: Hey. I'm sure you look nice in everything. Have a trustworthy friend come over and you can try one some clothes and see what she says because some things that you said that doesn't look right to other it looks awesome. Plus you need confidence. Like me for example my have pretty thick hair..even it's not super thick everytime i scrunch it i think it looks horrible but i finally got over it and went to school with wavy hair and everyone said it looked nice. Just because you believe it looks digusting doesn't mean people will think that. Wear what you like and that you feel is comfy. You can try adding accessories too. show off your shoulders if thats what sticks out. hope i helped. take care =) x3SweetStar. [ SweetStarx89's advice column | Ask SweetStarx89 A Question ]
