I just want to get some people's opinions on this: What do you think about girls asking guys out?

I'm all for confidence, but honestly I'm a traditionalist and I feel more comfortable doing the asking out rather than being asked out, as in dating- not like to the movies.

If it's just going to the movies or a small date, then sure- all the power to you.

If it's dating, maybe he wants to do it, but if he isn't stepping up and you know he wants to, but he's scared, then maybe you can ask him. =]

As far as chivalry goes, it should be the guy who asks the girl out. But as far as modern day goes, who cares who asks who out. If the guy does it, it's romantic because it's what was the norm. If the girl does it, it's sexy because she has enough confidence to do it and defy the old ways.

If you like someone that much, stop being hard on yourself and just ask him out already!

It's really neat in my opinion. Honestly? I wish I was confident enough to do it myself.

I think high school would have been alot less painful at times if girls did this.

Go for it.

I think it's awesome. You see, it takes a girl who's confident (which is totally sexy) to ask a guy out. Which is the reason why guys like it when girls ask them out - it means they're confident in who they are, plus, it saves all the guy's energy. =]

It's definitely something worth doing.

Whether a person is a girl or boy, they should always be willing to ask the other person out. How are you going to know how they feel if you don't just go for it!

I think it's normal. I don't feel it should always be the guy to ask the girl out.
