I met this nice Italian guy on Myspace,
and he wanted to know if we could talk
over MSN, so of course, I was like, sure.
He seemed really nice but then he wanted to
get on his webcam, so I said alright.
I've watched other people (non-sexually) on webcam.
Of course I had to tell him: don't strip or anything,
and he said he wouldn't, but then I guess he
changed his mind and took all his clothes off?
I felt weird saying "No" and he obviously wasn't
going to take "No" for an answer.
Oddly, I watched him but felt really nervous the whole time.
Not to sound like a dork or anything,
but I've never really seen a guy close up naked.
However, I was kind of disgusted with this naked guy.
I was also really scared, which is weird,
because most of my friends have actually
had sex with a guy and obviously they are
comfortable with even more than just looking at that!
Is this usual? Is it ok to feel a little freaked out by...male parts?
I am really boy crazy and I love guys, so why
do I freak out so much if I see a naked guy?
What if I'm a Lesbian?
And by the way, I won't be watching that
guy on webcam again so don't worry!
i would be scared and disgusted too, your not alone, im pretty possitive most girls would be grossed out with a naked guy theyve never met trying to talk to them via webcam.
also, since hes italian, and probably lives in europe, hes most liekly not circumsized. and to sometimes, uncircumsizion is gross, or abnormal to americans.
Jeanne answered Thursday November 15 2007, 3:00 am: Okay, first of all... male parts ARE pretty freaky looking! I mean, think about it: they have organs hanging outside their body, instead of inside where organs are supposed to be! Weeiirddd! hahahaa
But seriously, I think your reaction was completely normal for the situation. You were looking at some random guy who was obviously trying to turn you on (or more likely, turn himself on by stripping in front of some girl). You were uncomfortable with it, and I think most people in your situation would be thinking "ewwww!"
But don't worry. You won't always have that reaction. When you're with someone you really love, it's completely different! When it's someone you love, and care about, and are completely comfortable with, it's not going to bother you. It's just a part of the person you love. Trust me... you really don't need to be worried about it! [ Jeanne's advice column | Ask Jeanne A Question ]
FiaBean answered Wednesday November 14 2007, 5:16 pm: Lol, that guy sounds like a weirdo, good thing your not.
Okay good news: Your not a lesbian!! Yayyyyy.
Also, it's not weird that you feel that way, the male naked body is not a very pleasant thing to look at. I have spoke with many people about this and they totally agree. It is totally normal to feel uncomfortable when seeing that.
When a girl is so used to seeing the female body all the time it is definitely a change of course when you experience seeing the other sex.
Don't worry about it, you will get used to it and make babies like a normal girl minus the disgust :)
AgonyAuntM answered Wednesday November 14 2007, 1:57 pm: Hi Sweety,
yes that is the most normal thing. Girls who haven't had sex or seen guys naked close up find it scary and freaky. I promise you i know this for sure. I'm sure you are not a lesbian from what i know 100% not. So don't worry and be careful on the internet.
INEEDHELPBAD answered Wednesday November 14 2007, 2:32 am: ah how uncomfortable.
ofcourse you were grossed out. you didnt know the guy.
trust me hun. everyone goes threw that. i went threw it i thought it was just disgusting until i met my boyfriend. since i know him i think its alright.
XoXoXoXo77 answered Tuesday November 13 2007, 10:45 pm: i think its like gross unless youre like physically attracted to the guy like A LOT. and if not that... then liking the guy makes it not gross. i think that if its just some random guy that you dont know you wont find it as attractive.. at least thats how it is for me.
iceicebabie27 answered Tuesday November 13 2007, 9:23 pm: ok the first time i saw my boyfriends private parts was kinda gross at first.. so it's tottaly normal... i think that it takes little bit of getting used to and it's completely normal! dont worry! Razhie answered Tuesday November 13 2007, 9:07 pm: You aren't a lesbian unless you are attracted to girl parts.
You probably just weren't ready for it.
What he did was abusive you know?
If some stranger ran up to you on the streets and tore off thier clothes, they would be arrested for indecent exposer and/or sexual assualt. So what he did ISN'T something you should be comfortable with it.
Relax. The plain truth is, in my opinion anyways, that men aren't all that nice to look at naked. There are other things they are good for, but just to look at, not so much. [ Razhie's advice column | Ask Razhie A Question ]

it's ok if you get freaked out about male body parts.you are because you aren't realy ready to see that sort of stuff and it makes yourbody feel wearid! So chill out and don't talk to that guy again!
junebug93 answered Tuesday November 13 2007, 8:45 pm: You don't freak out if you see guy parts because you aren't attracted to male genitals. You freak out because, in our society, we are brought up with the notion that it is only respectful to see certain things in certain situations. This does not mean you are lesbian. You may freak out seeing another girl naked for the same reasons. It is a violation of their privacy, but also a violation of something personal, of your choice to see certain things only when the time is right. I agree that not viewing this man again on webcam is a smart choice. Same with not speaking to him again. Ever. [ junebug93's advice column | Ask junebug93 A Question ]
