Why do young girls come on here to ask about sex when they can't even spell right? I find this to be a very sad look at young girls in american society today. Do you agree?

katie_babey answered Monday September 10 2007, 1:35 pm: i agree with you 100% because i dont think its right for these 13 yr olds to be asking about sex they are wayy to young to be having sex. i dont know why girls cant wait i mean at a young age no one knows wat love is and they always say i ''love'' him and they really dont and the guys dont really love them either they are just sayin that to have sex with them i wish some girls were a little more smart and i wish they would realize that there isnt a rush in having sex i mean its not that great when your doing it with a random person that you really dont care about.Having sex should be special when you love someone and care about them deeply most people say they care about them but they really dont and they realize that after they have sex. All young girls should wait for that stuff. soo i agree with you and i wish girls would realize that they dont have to do that at a young age because everyone else is doing it everyone should be their own person adn shouldnt follow people. christina answered Sunday September 9 2007, 1:05 am: Because they're uneducated & need to learn it somewhere. The only thing we can do here is give them suggestions & hope they hear us out. However, I agree with sizzlinmandolin. Guys are also involved in this, so don't blame just females.
sizzlinmandolin answered Saturday September 8 2007, 8:14 pm: I actually disagree. While I'm very disappointed in some of the people that come on here for advice and do recognize teenage sexual activity as a problem in society, Advicenators in no way fully represents girls in American society today. Young girls not involved in sex, the ones not having any problems, aren't going to come on this site. If they do come on the site, they will be columnists. Look at how many amazing young female columnists we have. The smart ones will do research and know the information before coming on here and making a fool out of themselves. Yes it's a problem, but most young people aren't this way. The average age that people lose their virginity is actually 18, which is a pretty decent age for that. The average age for a person to enter into their first serious relationship is 14, again, a decent age for that. Think of it like the news. The world isn't full of bad people doing bad things. The 1000 teenagers that helped old women cross the street yesterday isn't going to make the news, the one teenager that shot an old woman for her purse is. Same with this site. The 1000 girls that aren't making poor choices aren't going to be on here asking questions about sex. The 1 girl that did make a poor choice, is. Plus, not every question is necessarily from a different person. And what about young boys? Young girls making poor choices about sex aren't having sex with themselves. Young boys are making the same poor choices with these young girls. Lets not focus just on the female population when it does take two to tango. :) [ sizzlinmandolin's advice column | Ask sizzlinmandolin A Question ]
Heyman answered Saturday September 8 2007, 7:50 pm: I take notice to that too! Glad I'm not the only one. Yes, I agree and think it's horrible. Actually, I've said aloud something like "SHE CAN'T SPELL INTERCOURSE CORRECTLY! HOW OLD IS SHE..TWELVE?" Sadly, I guess I could be right. [ Heyman's advice column | Ask Heyman A Question ]
BuYmElOvEx3 answered Saturday September 8 2007, 7:39 pm: maybe its not that they cant spell right its trying to hide the way they spell incase a friend comes on reads a question and figures out its them i dont know thats just my opinion [ BuYmElOvEx3's advice column | Ask BuYmElOvEx3 A Question ]
dancedance42 answered Saturday September 8 2007, 4:51 pm: Its not only ridiculous, but its really really sad.
I was reading some of the other answers, and the girl who wrote about 8th GRADERS getting pregnant and being happy about it made me sick.
These girls obviously dont know what they are getting themselves into. I think you should wait until you are sure you are in love with someone. and at 13 or 14, you dont understand what love or a commitment is yet. (yeah im 15, and i still dont know about those things...welll you get it)
muah_xx_muah answered Saturday September 8 2007, 4:19 pm: It's crazy they are way too young to be having sex. What is happening to the world?? I think that under 18 is way to young to be even thinking about it
lil_dancer911 answered Saturday September 8 2007, 3:15 pm: Yes, I agree. A lot of the kids my age are idiots. There were about three pregnant girls in my 8th grade last year, and they were excited about it... I can't believe how dumb some girls can be. And people on here give them advice and say it's okay to have sex when your only 10..... it's ridiculous. [ lil_dancer911's advice column | Ask lil_dancer911 A Question ]
LOL_x0x answered Saturday September 8 2007, 3:13 pm: To put it plain & simple: Yes.
It's ridiculous.
dia answered Saturday September 8 2007, 1:56 pm: I blame it mostly on the media.
Bad parenting and guidance doesnt help either... these girls need to learn what they shouold ACTUALLY be doing at age fourteen..shopping, sleepovers, school and hobbies. not asking for sex.
these parents are failing to educate their daughters on one of the most important elements of adolecence.
To be honest..if they enqire Advicenators about sex ( especially ASKING US if WE THINK they should have sex or not!)... surely they are not mature enough for sex thmselves if they haven't consulted their parents first...or even discussed their friends.
And some of the advice distributied on this site!It is beyond APPALLING.
i mean...giving a thirteen year old a thumbs up to perform filacio on her "boyfriend" is just obscene. there should be no encouragement of a sexual nature to those who are underage.
(however, this girl was fifteen and obviously didnt understand why thirteen year olds SHOULDNT be sexually active!)
peer pressure may be the cause for the minority, but even so.
sex wouldnt be such a "big deal" to these girls if it wasnt exposed in magazinges, film, television and even some song lyrics. Even adverts are suggestive.
As usual, Hollywood has created a monster by glamming up sex...and girls will be extremely surprised once they realise sex NOT like that in the movies.
All i can do is pity these girls as they obiously have something missing in their livesif they are resorting to an act of a sexual nature when they are emotionally ummature and only just physically "ready"!
Erinn_the_bamf answered Saturday September 8 2007, 1:44 pm: I agree. The world is changing. It's now considered OK to sleep around at a young age and they seem to have no clue about STDs or how to use protection. It's disappointing. It would be nice if the school would better educate the students. My school educated us well on the risks and the like, however, many don't.
Telly24555 answered Saturday September 8 2007, 1:41 pm: Agree, They don't realize the down sides of having sex. STD's,pregananc, Ect.Or maybe they do and they choose not to care.
But, I think alot of kids that are giving there body's to people at such a young age must have some problems, Maybe they wernt taught it's not right, Im not sure. But 14 is way to young to have sex.
Also it's not just young girls either, Lots of young boy's do it because they have seen all those t.v shows were it tell's them how good it is, But they don't realize that those people are adults. [ Telly24555's advice column | Ask Telly24555 A Question ]
thelaura answered Saturday September 8 2007, 1:37 pm: Personally, I find it ridiculous. and they don't know what they're letting themselves in for. Lets face it - what young teen knows about all the risks? Hardly any, that's for sure.. not to mention not being ready emotionally etc.
It happens everywhere and there's not a lot anyone can do to stop it but praise the people that wait. I admire that alot. [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]
Cmilner1607 answered Saturday September 8 2007, 1:15 pm: This is how the world is today. People (children) are having sex at young ages. Orgasms at 14, 15. Even 13 sometimes. It's traggic how the world has changed like this. But the only thing you can do is educate yourself right? [ Cmilner1607's advice column | Ask Cmilner1607 A Question ]
