Hey everybody, I was wondering- I have had fairly bad face acne since I was about 10. No medication seems to work for more than a week or two. Any suggestions as to what I can do? Thank you answerers
Since you've been on medication I assume you've been to a dermatologist...I would talk to him/her about it. They might be able to prescribe you something stronger. You could also try Proactiv because that seems to be a pretty good system. Just remember that everything takes about two weeks, so just be patient! Also, you are still pretty young, and typically it gets better as you get older.

for the past year or so, I have been shaving 'down there' and ever time i do i get really itchy and small red dots in that place. But after a while they go away? WHat is up? WHat are they? That area is really sensitive, so you are just getting razor bumps or bikini bumps or whatever you want to call them. It's completely normal.
You can try Bikini Zone products to help get rid of them, or sometimes when it happens to me I use unscented deodorant....it keeps my skin smooth!

I have struggled with wanting to end my life for the past few years. I use to know what purpose God had for me but few years got diagnoised with several different forms of dystonia which now are making it almost impossible to lead a normal life. I have tried all ur suggestions, use to love all my flower gardens but they no longer hold any beauty for me. Did u see the episode about lambert hillman. His suicide not explained so much about how I feel. Have no insurance now to cover costs of my treatments and medicines am getting close to losing my job because of my health and got denied social security benefits. I use to be so happy and carefree but I just no longer see the joy or beauty of living. I want to go Home to be with my brother and grandparents and where I will be pain free.
Well I am an outsider looking in, so hopefully I can help.
As far as work, did you talk to them about your dystonia? Maybe they can help you work something out, or help you somehow get social security.
Do you attend church regularly? A lot of people find church therapeutic and this might help you.
Continue spending time in your garden. Take photographs of your flowers and keep them in your home. Heck, if you are into photography and you like photographing your garden you can set up a site and sell them online to make some extra money.
It might be hard to see the beauty of living now, but everything happens for a reason. Once you get through this rough patch, just think of what wonderful thing lay ahead of you on the other side. And I know it may sound better to be with your brother and grandparents, but think of how much they would want you to lead out a long, beautiful life.

My best guy friend and I were planning to go out after summer ended, but he just told me that he doesn't want to anymore. How do I get over him because everytime I see him I want to cry.
I agree with the person below me...you really can't change the way he feels.
I kind of went through a similar thing. I was completely in love with this guy and he seemed to like me too, but then out of the blue he started dating some girl and they've been together for almost a year.
It was really hard at first, I was completely heartbroken. I thought my world was ending and I would die an old cat lady (not really, but it was bad). I was upset for a while, but then I realized it was stupid. First of all, everything happens for a reason, and if we are meant to be together it will happen one day. In the mean time, I occupied myself with other things, hung out with friends, and met new people. In fact, I found someone else who is more my type, and really likes me for me!
Don't worry about him- you'll find someone better. For now, enjoy who you are, enjoy being single, and enjoy your friends! Who knows, you might find someone you like even better!

Okay first of all I DO NOT live with my dad. In fact I haven't even seen him in 7 weeks.
I'm supposed to go to his house every other weekend but I really hate going there so I tend to skip a lot of weekends and he often has things that come up on our weekends so he'll cancel as well.
I feel like my dad is an animal hoarder.
He lives in a 1 bedroom apartment and currently has 11 inside cats and 2 outside cats and one of them is pregnant.
He also has 4 snakes,two whole aqauriums full of mice and an aqaurium of fish.
All of those animals in a one bedroom apartment.
So you can see why I never want to visit him.
I really want to report him and I know they wouldn't tell him who reported him but I'm afraid if they see his place they're going to evict him as well as take all of his animals and I don't want that to happen because he doesn't have enough money to move somewhere else.
He's also a junk hoarder as well but he's getting a lot better with that. The entire back room is filled to the ceiling with junk but he doesn't put anything back there anymore and he's always trying to clean up all of the other rooms.
He has another lady living there now too (a friend of his) and I want to make some sort of secret deal with her where we tell my dad to go out and while he's gone we just pile everything into trash bags and throw it out.
He always complains about not having money but he would if he didn't have all of those animals.
I'm just really afraid he'll lose it if either the animals or the stuff goes away but he really needs to just stop.
He thinks taking in all of the animals is justified because the animals are sick/pregnant when he gets them and then he takes care of them until their well again but then instead of finding homes for them like he says he's going to do he just keeps them.
I'm also worried that they'll take some of the cats and put them to sleep because one of them is blind in both eyes and another is blind in the one eye however both of the cats are really sweet.
What should I do?
I don't want my dad to get in legal trouble or get evicted he just doesn't have the money to find another place and he doesn't do anything bad or evil he loves his animals and he's nursed them all back to good health it's just that he has too many and their making him sick with all the cat fur and ammonia and he already has really bad lungs.
He even had a full blown asthma attack less then a week ago and he's always getting bronchitis.
Any advice is appreciated.
If you are worried about getting him in legal trouble, you can take other steps before that.
I would have an intervention with him. Tell him that what hes doing is great, but its bad for his health and its hindering your relationship. Offer to help him find homes for some of the pets he has. Remind him that it isn't fair to the animals to crowd them into tiny spaces, even if he does love them all. Sometimes the best thing to do is not the easiest.
You can also offer to help him clean out his apartment so you would be able to visit more often.

I'm around 13 and I REALLLLYYYY want a cell phone!!!! So I am willing to pay for it all, I have my eye on a lg neon 2, I found a good fido plan for 100 min, unlimited texting, unlimited weekends and evenings for 25 dollars a month! I got a phone when I turned 16 so my parents could keep track of me while I was driving and all.
Remind them that the phone isn't just for you to communicate with your friends, but it is also helpful when they are looking for you. Also, we live in a world where almost everyone has a cell phone and they always come in handy when you are not home. I know its tricky, and my advice isn't that great because you have already done almost everything, but hopefully this helps!

Oh my gosh. Well, I'm not sure what is getting you down, but here's what I can offer:
Suicide isn't the answer. You are a wonderful person, and taking your life will just hurt the people who love you.
Go for a walk and appreciate the beauty of the things around you. Find a park, a lake, or a museum and spend time watching your surroundings.
Spend time with friends and family and do things you enjoy doing.
Watch funny movies, listen to your favorite music, or read a good book.
If you lend me more insight into what is wrong, perhaps I can offer more specific advice. Until then, take a deep breath and remember that there is nobody else in the world like you and you are unique and special. Crap. I was going through my mom's drawers because she use to put money in there when I was a kid and I ran into this thing. I didn't know what it was at first so I picked it up and examined it.

So I am 16 and my bf is 14. I usually date people 19 and older basically graduated. Now when I met him He told me he was 16 I was like I dont usually date people my age but you seem cool so ohhK so we started dating for abt a month and he confessed to me that he was actually 14 I wasn't hard on him because I know it was compicated for him to tell me that but I do have feelings but he doesn't want me to bring up the situation ever and it doesn't help that not I call him adorable instead of the usual sexy hahhaha. Personally, I think age is just a number. My mom is a year older than my dad, my uncle is like 10 years older than my aunt. If you really love him it would be stupid to let him go because he is younger than you.
The age difference might seem big now, but two years is really nothing

does any have a fav nacho recipe? (please not just any random one, but one you've personally tried?)
Not sure if this is exactly what you want, but its really simple.
I put a layer of tortilla chips (brand doesnt matter)on a plate and then grate a layer of cheddar cheese over it, then another layer of chips and another layer of cheese, and then once more. Then I microwave the plate for like 45 seconds or until the cheese is melted. Then i top it with salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and heated up refried beans.

Okay, sooo.. Both parents in my family smoke i've tried talking to them about going outside but since it's "not my house" and since "i'm the child

if I am in my room with the door shut but people are still smoking not to far from me is that considered 2nd hand smoke and can I still be harmed from it? I mean i'm doing my best to avoid it..
second hand smoke can be just as damaging as smoking
its good you are trying to avoid it, but if people are smoking inside its going to be very difficult.
keep urging your parents to quit or at least smoke outside so they dont ruin your lungs

Today my school had a college fair and it started to get me wondering about where I wanted to go,and what I wanted to do! Soooo, I've pretty much narrowed it down to Cinematography/Filming, Preforming Arts(musical theater, acting), and lastly Screenplay writing and production.
With all that said, I've found some pretty good ones in the US. But the only one I can really find that looks good is Emerson (In Boston, Massachusetts). I'm really interested in these fields and I've looked all over the internet about them and more schools with these things. But I'd really love to be referred by people who also have interest in the fields I mentioned to get a better feel of what I should be looking for. And I don't mind where it is in the United States, though my main choices would be On either the East or West coast, not the middle states :P. So, know of any? Any other information I should be looking for? Thanks :D!
Also- this is just an addition , you can ignore this if you don't know what I'm talking about :P. But- If anyone has seen the youtube show CollegeHumour, that's kind of the film I'm talking about and acting as well. Where can I find out more about them, how they got started, or what they really do is called? Because that's what I'm interested in. Thank you!

For some reason I've been thinking a ton about college, and my dream is to live in new York city and play in the pit on broadway. But I need a school that could get me there. What aare the best schools around new York city with good music classes or even complete music schools?? Helpe reach my dream =]
Um...the name of the school is actually Julliard, but yes it is a reaaalllly good school. There is also New York University, Mannes College, Manhattan School of Music, and a TON of other schools. (Look them up on google!)
Also, most of these schools are really competitive- so in order to get in you have to be the best (not that I am doubting your talent :]). So keep practicing and you'll get there

I've had a small bump on the roof of my mouth for a looong time, probably longer than a year. And now there are little white bumps on my tongue (only three) and they hurt a little. I get one once a month, but I don't know why there are three this time. Any ideas what any of these are? The bump on the roof of my mouth seems to be drying out because I'm sick and have to breathe through my mouth~~ I've been sexually active, I'm not at the moment, but I have been. i dont know if this is serious or not, but i had a mild headache above my left ear and a little behind it. i was walking and talking to my friend in the hall, and then i felt a pull in my right rib and i felt soo weird for a couple of seconds and then it went away. it felt like a pinch or a pull and it made my rib cage feel funny. i couldnt bretahe for a second or two. i randomly get sweaty... do you think its anxiety? do you think i pulled a muscle or pinched a nerve? is it serious? am i okay? help asap
I agree with the person below me- we aren't doctors here (although there could be some) so your best bet is to ask a doctor. It could be serious but it could be nothing- your best bet is to check with a doctor!!

A tag sale is like a rummage sale or a garage sale. You can just get a bunch of people together and have them bring things they don't need anymore that are still in good condition, like books, clothing, furniture, etc. Hope that clears things up!

I have recently been elected as Treasure in my school's theather club. We have a state competition in the end on October and I have been assigned the task to raise $600 in a month. Doesn't seem too difficult right??
Well my school board has recently created and established the "wellness policy" which basically says that the school will not put its name on anything envolving the selling of unheathy foods (I wish they would look at their own cafertia food.. but that is a different story.)
But because we can't just sell candy.. we need an AMAZING idea..
Any thoughts?

Depending on where you live and the weather, you can have a car wash.
I guess you can't hold a bake sale...but what about a huge tag sale with all of the members of the theatre club. You can also hold a huge spaghetti dinner, spaghetti is really inexpensive and if you get enough people to go, youll make a ton of money!
