lovealways1221 answered Thursday June 23 2011, 8:24 pm: Its just razor burn. What kind of razor are you using?? I used to buy the cheap kind from Walgreens for like 70 cents haha and i got REALLY bad razor burn. But then I splurged and bought Shick Quattro razor for women. its pricey but its made for sensitive areas like your bikini line. When you shave- make sure you wait a few minutes in the shower before you shave. The steam and hot water will open your pores down there and it will make it easier to shave off, as opposed to shaving outside the shower. make sure you're shaving in the direction of the hair (for most women, its shaving downwards). That way, it wont irritate the hair follicle and it wont cause the bumps.
Make sure you're using shaving cream too. Thicker the better. There's also gels/creams for your bikini line that are made to prevent the itchy bumps. Just look for them in your local pharmacy store. mine is just called bikini zone gel for razor bumps. Make sure you put lotion down there every day. it will help keep the skin smooth and soft. When you're done shaving, PAT the area dry, don't rub the area dry because that causes irritation too. [ lovealways1221's advice column | Ask lovealways1221 A Question ]

You can try Bikini Zone products to help get rid of them, or sometimes when it happens to me I use unscented deodorant....it keeps my skin smooth!
