Rule number one: be yourself.
Guys don’t like girls who put on acts, they don't like drama queens.
Guys appreciate girls with a good sense of humour and who have interests other than hair and make-up.
Music is a good subject to talk to a guy about, whether you’re into the same genres of music or different, its bound create an interesting conversation.
Guys also like originality within a girl, so if you don't agree with a statement he says e.g.: he thinks Die Hard is the best Movie ever made- and you think different, tell him by justifying yourself :)
The more you get talking, the more confidant you'll become with guys.
They’re not going to bite you, or laugh at you before you speak ((ad if they do...don’t encounter them again as clearly- they aren’t worth your time!).
I get on really well with guys because I've learnt that really, everyone is human, everyone is different and the opposite sex should not be seen as an intimidation. This is the twenty first century- we are equal now, so please don’t feel you are of a lower status when males are concerned :)
I can guarantee that the guys that you DO get talking to will have been looking for the same things that you are: companionship.

The Moulin Rouge translates as "The Red Windmill" .
This was a very popular nightclub situated in Paris in the nineteenth century consisting of...well..considered bohemianism...and courtesans.
It is still there actually.
The very vibrant and energetic film (directed by Baz Luhrman) introduces viewers to a world that the Moulin Rouge supposedly posessed.
Watching the film is definitley worth it if you wish to find out more about nineteenth century Paris.

It depends which tone of voice they were using when they said this.
If it was a bragging tone, then yes I assume "fat" is positive.
If not,then no- I would consider "fat" to be unpleasant.

What's a good place to hide condoms in my room where my parents wont find them? It's not like they'll go looking through my stuff, but they clean it a lot and sometimes find stuff they shouldn't. (link)

Oh I completely understand where you are coming from!
Don't place condoms anywhere where they are at risk of being damaged. If you keep one in your wallet- make sure it isn't in there for a long while (my friend told me that they dry out in there as well for some strange reason). Also, the amount of times your wallet will be bent or thrown about in that amount of time could damage the condom whilst it's in there, making it unsafe to use.
Ensure you put them in an unexpected place instead of the usual obvious places i.e underwear draws- you need to keep them somewhere safe and somewhere you will remember- maybe hidden amongst in a box full of objects or paperwork at the top of your wardrobe- or at the bottom shoved to the back?
It really depends on the storage devices you have in your room... make the use of any cupboards or closets ..and boxes! boxes are great for hiding things- especially boxes that fit into one another, you could hide the condoms in the smallest box with another two surrounding the one in which you placed the condoms.
Plus- (unless there are any religious beliefs that would cause them to disapprove) ,even if your parents did find the condoms, they should be relieved that you are taking precautions, and are mature enough to realise how important contraception is.

Has anybody ever watched the movie "Thirteen"?
It's the most amazing movie I have ever seen in my entire life. The only thing is, I've seen it a couple of times, but I don't understand the ending. After her mom finds out she cuts, they do and like sleep for what seems like days. Then, Tracy wakes up, and the next thing you know it's in like a dream - like state, and she's on the spinny thing that she was on in the beginning of the movie. Did she commit suicide? Did she end up going back to the person she was before she met her brunette friend? (I forget her name lol). This was the most amazing movie I've ever watched in my entire life, I just don't understand the ending. Can anyone help me?
P.S. The 'spinny thing' I'm referring to is one of those circular toys at most playgrounds that spin around and around. I don't know what it's called, sorry. (link)

I very much doubt there is a second one (especially due to that open ending!)...and I hope there isnt another one on its way..because
A) it would NOT be anywhere as good as the first ione (most sequels have this habbit)
and B) it would ruin the first one :(
If you like independant films...you should watch Donnie Darko if you havent already. Again, what an AMAZING film!!
The independant films usually are amazing in their own way though because they are so different from Hollywood or Mainstream film making. They also tackle subjects that other film makes dont dare to approach (eg..that horrific scene where she cuts herself)!

When Tracy is on the Round- about/Merry-go-round at the end, the film looks almost distorted (you said "dream like"), you can interpret this effect in any way you want. personally i feel it adds to the effect of the film, whilst being symbolic to how her life was so dustored previously.
The endng is an open ending, and you asking those questions means that the director has successfully achieved the ending she wanted, as you are wondering what happened!
I like to think that tracy started fresh...the scream at the end to me is symbolic of her letting go, getting it all out of her system in preperation to start again and she had left the Evie-created Tracy behind. I dont know if she made amends with Noel (that's her name haha)because Tracy had changed ALOT since she was friends with her. I doubt Noel had even held a boys hand..however, Tracy, as we both know had gone ALOT further than holding hands.
She wont see Evie again seeing as her and Brooke moved away, as Brooke explained in the scene where Travy's mother dicovered everything.
Howver, whatever REALLY happened in the end (and we WILL never know for certain) i can establish that Tracy would most probably grow up to be a very distubed individual for the next few years. She would move on eventually, but there will alwyas be a part of Evie within her.
Also the part where they are on the bed, and the switching of positions simeltaniously to the days changing is symbolic of Tracy's and her mother's relationship throughout the film.
At the beginning, they are embracing eachother, then half way through, they are back to back, meaning that Tracy turned her back on her mother,and for a while dismissed her existance almost. However, at the end they are mainly facing eachother which is what i interpret as them making ammends slowly, but are not as strong as they used to be (hence the fact they are not in an embrace like they were in the beginning).
When analysing a film, unless yu are set a specific question (like in an exam) you are open to any interpretarion you want (just like poetry or lyrics or a book). This is what the creator intends to do, . I consider any piece of work whether its a film, lyrics or even a drawing that makes you think, is a work of art.
You picked up on one of the best sequences in the film!!

To be honest,I would not classify it as a "drug PROBLEM" as such - even if they did smoke it heavily.
It may be an "ADDICTION" (obviously not serious by the sounds of it)..but I would only class it as a problem if they were doing harder drugs such as Cocaine, Heroin and Crack etc.
Just make sure who ever takes them are in control of any drugs they do, and not to let them ruin themselves :)

I have been with my boyfriend for 5 months. I feel very positive about our relationship now, however it has been quite rocky in the past. However, despite having had difficult times and many arguments, we have always had pretty good sex (and a lot of it). It was average at times, but at other times it was mind-blowing, better than I've ever had before.
Then the following occurred about two weeks ago:
(1) I broke up with him because I felt we argued too much and it was making us both unhappy.
(2) Four days later we were back together. We had missed each other horribly and I felt breaking up had been a mistake.
(3) Ever since, he has had BIG impotency problems. He has issues getting an erection (no matter how sexy I try to be!) and loses it very quickly when he does get it. Even handjobs and blowjobs only get him hard for a couple of seconds before he is totally soft again, so no chance of sex anytime soon (it's like playing pool with a rope, right?!)
So, I love him, and I love sex, and I want more than anything to be intimate with him, but it just isn't happening! Majorly frustrating. I questioned him about it gently and he said he has just been tired and stressed. But I find this very suspicious: his life has not changed remarkably since we first got together, and he has a very laidback job. I can only conclude that he is (a) not attracted to be anymore (he assures me this is not the case), (b) cheating on me and feels guilty thus removing his desire to have sex with me, (c) has physical problems that he should get seen to, or (d) really is stressed and tired.
I'm going out of my mind because I don't know what to do. If I talk to him about it, I think it might make him feel even worse. But if I say nothing, I'm thinking about (a) and (b) above and driving myself nuts.
Suggestions would be very much appreciated!

To be honest, if I was in your situation..I'd put sex aside for a little while and focus on the fact the reason this may be happening is because what has happened recently has made him insecure.
I know your libido will be craving sexual activity but you need to consider the other reasons this could be happening to him other than the reasons he's giving you.
His reasons ARE genuine -however, I dont think the amount of times this has happened to him (and you) can be the exact same reason all of the time.
If he has other things on his mind (especially anxiey) when youre trying to be intimate with ech other, it's no wonder he becomes flacid quickly as guys do need to concentrate almost as much as women do during sexual activity.
I'd keep reassuring him that you know it was a mistake and tell him how you genuinly feel for him.
If this is the reason it may take a while as he may be scared you'll do this again (Unfortunatley I was like this with my EX)
But if you convince him, he'll believe you, just give him some time :)
If it's not this case, and if the impotence is continuing for another few weeks, I would definitely contemplate making an appointment to see someone about this.

It may be something as simple as him having a poor diet! (lack of goodness and proper nutrituin causes this...) and it is very common in males for this reason.
I dont think he'd be cheating on you..or if he was, he wouldnt have gotten back together with you, and (if he is worred about your relationship status) it wouldnt affect him.
You said you love him, and sex... so act on the first fact and dont be angry because of the impotence. No matter how fustrating it is!!

My friend is turning 20 in December and is in college. He is a good boy, doesn't do drugs, drinks socially but not excessively, and really is just a great person. He still lives at home with his parents because he is in school, but they are trying to control everything in his life and saying he is a disappointment and a bad kid when really he is not. He tries to make them happy and to please them but nothing he does works and they won't listen to any form of logic. They now have neighbors reporting to them when he has people come over to the house. He wants to leave but he has no where to go and cannot afford to live on his own. He just want to be able to live his own life and have them be happy but they won't allow that. Does anyone have any advice for him, because all I've been able to do is just listen to him. (link)

wow, i know exactly how you feel for this guy... my friend had a similar situation himself, but now he's away at university so he's fine now!
My mum said that he was welcome to stay at our place whenever if he felt the need to escape, so if you live with your parents/guardian/partner or whoever and it isnt too much trouble, maybe you could ask if it was ok every once in a while if he could escape and stay the night at yours?
i know a night isn't enough though.
Has he any other relatives who live close to home..or any relatives at all that he could consider asking to stay at for a while ?
I take it you're American seeing as this guy is almost 20 and is at COLLEGE..(here in England university is the equivilent to that)... so if he is at "university" is there any form of accomidation he could consider?
He could tell his parents it's a chance to "become more independant" - by living on his own (at a moderatley affordable price).
Does this guy have any form of job , or not as it would interfere with college?
If he does, couldnt he and some friends plan to save some money to afford an appartment or something similar?
It may be worth him asking a guidance counceller at his collge, or soomeone with a similar job position who MUST help other people with these sorts of situations from time to time.
I know he cant help the parents situation..if they havent accepted his maturity by now, they never will, so the sooner he leaves the better.
They mst be incredibly inconsiderate peopole, and to do this to their own son is ridiculous!
However, one day he may be able to stand up to them, tell them exactly how he feels and they'll be left in shock.
My friend never did this because he was so laid back (luckily) but we were all telling him he needs to confront them about his feelings.
If they are as ignorant as they sound, confonting them will not do anyting.
In the UK if youre 18 its classed as an adult... i think it may be 21 in the USA but to be honest, if youre not a teen anymore, youre an adult, and his parents have to treat him as one which includes letting him negotiate in a mature manner... which by the sound of it he's attempted already.
he may just have to ignore them and do what is best for him, after all..you have to work for things in life, and you have to mould it the way YOU want it. you have the right to be selfish sometimes..and this is a situation where he needs to be..and he needs to do what is best for him, and what is best for HIS future.
I think its a control issue with the parents..if he proves he has control over his OWN life, they will slowly accept it.
This is a really horrible situation and i hope i've helped somehow..though most of it seems obvious , and youve probably thought of these options already :(

Once material is burnt onto the disk...thats it..
The format of the CD is ROM (Read Only memory), and so anything out on the CD is permanent and will only ever be read by a machine.

i'll try not to make this too long. so there's this guy named joe, and he just got out of a relationship with this girl, they were together for about 5 or 6 months. (we r 15 by the way). anyway, he and this girl gave each other oral sex. recently, me and joe have been talking and flirting, and we like each other. i think his friends know that. well recently he became kind of popular. i'm in between popular and like...normal. anyway so he was grinding with me at this dance a few nights ago. online we have been having really intense talks about like, how far i would go with a guy and i said i wouldn't go past feeling up for a while. he said that that might eventually push us apart because he has such a high sex drive (this was like a week ago). anyway, he came to my house this weekend and we made out a lot and stuff. and it really seemed like he liked me, he would randomly come up and hug me really tight and just sort of nuzzle into my neck. well since then we haven't really been talking too much. online i will try to start conversation and he will just answer and say nothing else...and at school he has been flirting with other girls (but he's a really big flirt and we aren't official yet or anything). also, 2 nights ago he told my friend that he was going to ask me to our homecoming dance...but he hardly talks to me. should i ask him if he is still interested? i fell for him really, really hard and i'm so scared that if i ask if he's not interested, he will admit that that's true, and i'll lose him. what should i do? If you are constantly chasing Joe around, you are giving him self-satisfaction because it seems to me this is what he wants.
I’d play him at his own game. Act slightly interested but also act sour towards him…after all..you would only be imitating his behaviour towards you.
His behaviour may I add, is unacceptable. It seems to me that Joe is either doing this to cause a reaction because he likes you. or he is just another jerk who is messing you around, and has no interest.
Either way you need to know where you stand. He’s already made it clear he has no clue whatsoever on how a girl’s mind works so instead of confronting you, he’s typically immaturely ignoring you. To some degree.
When you to get talking again, even if its not the way you want the pair of you to be heading, I’d make this clear. After all., Your emotions are very fragile at this point in life .
Explain to him that he CAN NOT continue to behave in this manor.
(Eventually girls will realise what he’s like and sensibly step far away from him)
This is an awful thing to say, but I think Joe is behaving this way either because
A)You didn’t give him what he wanted that weekend
Or a more upbeat 2nd suggestion
b) he DOES like you, and is possibly afraid for what you may feel, and so is testing you to see what your reaction is. (…in one of the worst ways possible)
Whatever the reason, it is affecting you undesirably. The next step is deciding what YOU need to do.
I don’t want to bring your hopes up, or let them down. But seriously if I were you- I would have left him after that conversation you had.
If he says he has a high sex drive, and that you not having a high libido will part the pair of you, I hope you realised that he only wants one thing.
And any sensible girl knows that one single boy is not worth that torture.
Leave it a few days to see how he acts around you. And if he does ask you to homecoming, which is great, I WOULD say yes, we need to talk first.
After all, it would be bloody cheeky of him to expect you to say
“Oh yes of course I will! You’re the best Joe!!!”
Ok maybe not THAT squeakily happy…
…But he’d better not be expecting you to be grateful with the fact he’s asked you after all of his bull.
If he wants to avoid the situation where you would tell him how he’s made you feel, I would leave him :(

see my period ended 2 weeks ago so i know this
stuff cant be period blood, and it aint red it's kind of a yellowish brownish ,and it's extremely light so it not like a period ,but i dont know what it is........does any one else? (link)

It seems to me that youve described some form of post -menstrual disharge.
Or any discharge for that matter.
It varies in colour ( transparent, white, cream, light yellow etc) , however you said "brown". if discharge contains a hint of brown, Ive been reassured that it's vaginal blood.
Post mentsrual discharge can continue for a long while after your period..it does vary. One month it could be only a wek of post menstrual discharge, others it could be far longer.
People can have it for upto 3 weeks. It doesnt sound too serious. However, if you notice anythihg particuarly abnormal i.e, itching, abrnormal smells, id keep an eye on it, and if it worsens, go to a GP or doctor.
Unless youve had unprotected sex recently, I really wouldnt worry :)

I'm English and despite the fact I partly agree that "bollocks" is effective in an english accent..( so does "bloody"), but maybe this is . because Americans need to adopt and use more of our lingo!
After all, we have adopted many of your words because most TV programmes ARE from America!
I was thinking about this the other day, and you comng forward and saying this I feel is a good thing!
