ok there are these shoes called crocs I think. they are those plastic type shoes that are like 8 dollars at walmart. people have told me they are comfy but i dont see it ... they are hard plastic basically. Are they really comfy? will they help me if im on my feet say, 9 or so hours a day?
clouded_bluee answered Friday June 8 2007, 4:23 pm: Actually, the crocs at walmart are not the actual crocs. The actual maker Crocs are totally different then the ones you see at other places. The knock-offs aren't as comfortable or soft. The price for real Crocs are around $30. So I'm actually not sure if they'd be all that comfortable but, I'm guessing they will be fine and your feet will be comfortable. [ clouded_bluee's advice column | Ask clouded_bluee A Question ]
BeautifulGirlxo answered Friday June 8 2007, 4:00 pm: Crocs.. are the most annoying shoes ever, if they get wet they squeak.
personally, im obsessed with designer.. i would never ever ever ever buy a pair.. but thats just me.
Us kids in "westchester ny" would never get them.. they dont even sell them in our area.
NinjaNeer answered Friday June 8 2007, 3:33 pm: I have 2 pairs of Crocs. I work as a housekeeper at a resort, so I'm going up and down stairs and on my feet 8-10 hours a day. All the other housekeepers wear them too!
They're really light, which is nice. They also let your feet breathe.
surfsunsand answered Friday June 8 2007, 2:09 pm: heya, i have a pair of crocs myself and they are very comfy. however, you might not like them at all (my best friend despises them) if youre going to be walking a lot (like a hike or something) i do not suggest these shoes as they come off easily, but if youre going to the beach or something, theyre great. The ones at walmart might not be real crocs because real ones are about 30 dollars, so the wal-mart ones might not be as comfy, but hey if you like 'em, get 'em. uisforukelele answered Friday June 8 2007, 2:05 pm: crocs are actually made out of sturdy foam. they're not plastic, and if they are, then they're not real crocs. the real ones are like 30 bucks, and it's worth it to buy those. they last for forever and they're very comfortable. nurses and people that stand up a lot at their jobs wear them. besides that, they're great for the beach or lake, and you can get them in all different colors. they're also antibacterial or something- that's why nurses wear them. i have to stand up a whole heck of a lot at my job, and i wear them occasionally. they're as comfortable as tennis shoes, if not more. go to a store and try them on. if your friends have crocs, ask to wear them for a few minutes. they're really comfortable because they're made out of foam. Michele answered Friday June 8 2007, 2:01 pm: OMG, I couldn't believe it when I purchased a pair of real crocs. they were comfortable! I couldn't see it either, but they were. I don't know about the cheap knock offs at Wal-Mart though. I know that nurses love to wear crocs, and they are on their feet all day, and crocs are waterproof (or blood proof ewwww!)
You might be able to find a real pair of crocs on ebay for $15.00 or so.
DandKitsLOVE01 answered Friday June 8 2007, 1:59 pm: I've tried them on before and i think they are so comfortable. I'd say they will help your feet , most nurses wear them :]]]
karenR answered Friday June 8 2007, 1:52 pm: I don't know about the ones at Walmart. They are
harder than actual Crocs.
The real Crocs are very comfortable. I won't wear anything else. I'm sure the ones at Walmart will get
softer with wear. I'm sure you will love them. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
