haha oh my god i had this problem too. put a spoon not a plastic one, in the freezer. and then when it gets really cold, put it on ur neck, it will decrease in size, and lose its color. but thats how to do it

Yeah I hate that about hickies too...there's nothing you can do to make them go away. Just try to cover them up and wait it out. Sorry I didn't help at all but there really isn't any way to make them go byebye.

Darling,
Hold a frozen spoon to them.
Put it in the freezer(always keep an extra one in there) then take it out and hold it to you neck until gone.
Sincerly,
Vennessa.

i ahve heard the [dont laugh] combing them makes them go aaway faster becasue it seems to push the blood which is what rises to the skin in the first place.

Hickies are bruises. There is no way to make them completely go away. You have to let them fade on their own. There are some ways to help aid the healing process though. Here are a few ideas I have heard in the past. Some may help and others may just be hoaxes and old wives tales. But if you seriously want to get rid of a hickie, i'd say try it.

1. When you see that you have recieved a hickie, place ice over it as soon as possible. Leave it on until the ice starts to melt.

2. You could also try placing a frozen spoon over the hicky.

These first two will help reduce the swelling if there is any, and will also get the blood flowing back into that area.

3. Some say taking toothpaste, rubbing it over the area, letting it dry, and then taking it off will get rid of it. I've never personally tried it, but it's worth a shot I suppose.

4. Try conceling it with hairstyles, make-up, and turtle necks. There isn't really much else you can do.

<3 Next time you decide you want a hickie, I would ask for one on a less noticable place if I were you. Just a thought.

of course, Ice or a frozen spoon will help. What a hickey is, is busted blood vessels, yea doesnt sounds so sexy does it? lol Here's another tip, dab some toothapste on it, rub it in over the hickey really good (only white toothpaste will do-and rub it in as you would foundation) after it dries, cover with foundation, it helps hide it lots!!!

xxsima answered Sunday July 9 2006, 1:10 pm:
Try putting a warm cloth against the hickie. Or, if that doesn't work, try concealer. Foundation doesn't work that well, trust me. ;]]

[[ EDIT ]]

Well, Foundation is usually for making your skin look smoother, like if you have bumps on your skin, or pimples, you can use foundation. But, foundation can sometimes can look chunky. However, concealer is used to cover up blemishes, undereye circles, ect. There's really no difference between them. I just found that concealer works better.

Hope I helped!

The only real way to get rid of it is to let it heal and gradually fade!
However, in the mean time;
Put ice on it as it makes the skin go normal colour and apply skin cream or vitamin E.
Dab concealer (not foundation) on it and blend evenly.
I've also heard if you brush it (lightly with an actual brush!) it helps take away the colour and makes the blood flow :) Give it a try!
Also, if you have long hair, wear it down to not attract attention to it. Or wear Tshirts with collars!
Happy hiding! ;]
