truthonfire answered Saturday July 8 2006, 12:37 pm: Eat something along the lines of bread (to absorb the alcohol) and drink lots of water (to flush it out of your system).
xokristabelle answered Friday July 7 2006, 7:51 pm: Alka-seltzer mixed with water (use it to wash down advil or ibuprofen), "simple" foods (stuff that you'd have when you're sick), and Sprite. 3-5 hours usually, being active (despite what people say), helps a lot- take a walk. mrbrodie answered Friday July 7 2006, 5:01 pm: They can last anything from an hour to a couple of days. But drinking water before you go to bed or throughout while you're out drinking should stop it pretty much. DONT have a fry up

emilyy answered Friday July 7 2006, 2:18 pm: Many people have said this but just get lots of sleep and have a 'lazy day', try staying home and watching movies and maybe invite over your other hung over friends.
I find that after drinking I take an aspirin and two glasses of water before going to sleep and I don't get a very bad hangover at all.
Teza answered Friday July 7 2006, 1:31 pm: Hangovers suck and they usually last about a day or 2. Don't take any medicine right away because it's not good if it mixes with alchocol in your system. Take a shower and lay in bed. Sleep. Once you wake up you might have a headache so then take Advil and just relax. Hope you feel better soon! [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
clouded_bluee answered Friday July 7 2006, 1:19 pm: Hangover's usually last about a day or so depending on how much you drank. To help with your headache if you have any which usually comes with hangover's take Asprin, it should help. Drink coffee too it also makes you feel more like yourself and helps take away from the hangover. [ clouded_bluee's advice column | Ask clouded_bluee A Question ]
orphans answered Friday July 7 2006, 11:48 am: Oooh, yuck. I hate hangovers haha. There is not a certain time that they last for, but the more you drank, the longer your hangover will last. Seriously, I just lay in bed all day. And eat crackers! Or bread. Because they help absorb the alcohol that is left in your system. Aw, feel better! :) [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
Lola answered Friday July 7 2006, 11:42 am: hey,
I am not really sure how long hangovers last, because it doesn't really have a certain time period, but i could tell you some stuff to make you feel better:
1- you can try to kill time by reading books, or sitting on computer or watching t.v or going out with friends
2- mabye you could consider picking up a sport or running tracks or going for long walks
3- you could see what you like to do best and do it more often. [ Lola's advice column | Ask Lola A Question ]
