KELLY_ELIZABETH answered Tuesday April 25 2006, 9:27 pm: GO TO CLAIRS OR DRY ICE AND GET ACCESSORIES. big pearls are really in right now - so are all big & long necklaces. and maybe some whacky [ or adoorable] earrings [if you have your ears pierced]. also try layering.. maybe try getting a long wifebeater to go under your shirt - or if your daring maybe even over it. or you can maybe try a scarf around your hair. dont be scared to stand out a little. oh, and if your creative try sewing on bead and stuff on your jeans. or use sandpaper and make [little or big - your choice] holes. youd be surprised how much something little like that can change your outfit so much.
to_the_rescuex3 answered Monday April 24 2006, 8:16 pm: One word: Accessorize. Don't be shy about it, either. I used to get worried because things didn't match. But don't get yourself too worked up over that. Find necklaces, anklets, fun belts...even shoes! There are so many different styles of flip flops that I'm sure you'll find something. You don't have to buy expensive jewelry either. Claire's and Icing have some really cute, but also cheap, pieces of jewelry. Bargain hunt! So good luck, and have fun with it. Kayendall06 answered Monday April 24 2006, 6:45 pm: Acessories. Wear bright and bold neaklaces and earrings. You don't have to wear long sleeve plain shirts all the time. Wear shirts from aeropostale that are interesting. You don't want to buy a lot of shirts with writing on them, because they are more little kidish. Buy some of the ones with pockets and if you have a Charolette Russe near you, their jeans are really cute =) Also maybe instead of wearing jeans wear capri's or a skirt once in a while. Do you wear the same shoes everyday? Change them around. Hope I helped :) [ Kayendall06's advice column | Ask Kayendall06 A Question ]
mmmmmmm answered Monday April 24 2006, 6:20 pm: try a pretty necklace or buy some jeans with glitter on them. you could also try wearing low cut shirts with another shirt underneath.
x0blu3eyedbeautyx0 answered Monday April 24 2006, 6:12 pm: Well you can try layering...you can get layering tanks from American Eagle, Hollister, Delias, Old Navy and store like that. Also buy some cute belts..like metallic weave belts..or sequened strethcy belts..go for bigger belts because thats whats popular right now...you wear them over your layered tank and it makes a really cute outfit. I find that buying randon things that are cute can really help a boring outfit..like a bracelet that you normally wouldnt wear but you think is cute, buy it, because it's different...and it will definitly make a difference. Hope this helps<3 [ x0blu3eyedbeautyx0's advice column | Ask x0blu3eyedbeautyx0 A Question ]
mystical_breeze answered Monday April 24 2006, 6:00 pm: I usually wear vintage clothing (tees with brand names on them, jeans, a belt, clunky bracelettes, etc.) and I sometimes wear just comfortable clothing. I'd suggest going to a store that sells mostly every clothing style. Claire's, Old Navy, Fashion Bug, Walmart, soo many good stores are out there that are good-priced.
Notso answered Monday April 24 2006, 5:50 pm: try layering. Grab a couple plain long tanks (you can get them really cheap at Giant Tiger- Canadian store, Old Navy, Walmart etc, in a whole lot of colours). Toss one under your regular long sleeve tee, and it's a whole new outfit. When it gets warmer out you can even wear the tanks layered together. [ Notso's advice column | Ask Notso A Question ]
LM answered Monday April 24 2006, 5:48 pm: well, accessories are pretty awesome =]. Try a chunky necklace or bracelet, or anything bright that says "Hey look at mee I'm an accessory!"
Also, hairclips (technically accessories but whateverr) are another element of a cool-looking, pulled-together outfit. Kinda kooky but actaully pretty awesome is wearing little-kid barrettes in your hair, i.e. plastic bow, horsie, etc. (and if you really end up hating it, you can just take it out).
Bottom line, be afraid to experiment, and mix it up! Mismatched can be hot, don't forget!!

summerGIRL_xo answered Monday April 24 2006, 5:33 pm: accesories are a great way to make your outfit not so boring. earings, necklaces, belts, anything can spice up your outfit. even if your just wearing a plain, long sleeved shirt & jeans add a funky necklace or belt to make it more exciting. also, the next time your out shopping, try buying a shirt w/ a pattern on it that you don't find so boring (= good luck. XoNeLLiE143oX answered Monday April 24 2006, 5:25 pm: if you cant afford a new wardrobe, try some accessories. Claires and Icing have really cute accesories and they aren't that expensive. Try some fashion jewelry, like the big beaded necklaces or thick bangles. Long dangling earrings often look nice too and add some elegance and style to your look. Macys and JC Penny always have cute earrings on sale.
